Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. She can get stressed easily in new places, which has previously led to tummy issues and even skin flare-ups — so we were very nervous about leaving her with someone new. From the very first message, Luna was incredibly warm, proactive, and thoughtful. She even offered to set up a meet-and-greet right away before we could ask, which immediately put us at ease. About: I have over 10 years of pet boarding experience. In my home are 2 cats, 1 pug and 1 turtle. My babies love when we have guests and truly enjoy the company as much as I do. “I have an anxious senior pup who hasn't spent much time apart from my partner and I since adopting him a few months ago (in large part due to his anxiety). I did a pre-meeting with Zoe to make sure it would be a good fit for the pup and then we completed the booking. While my pup still let me know later in the day he was mad I left him, when I picked him up he was happy and bouncing around, but also perfectly happy to go back and hang with her. I think this was the most positive experience possible for Rick and am hopeful the positive experience might help him towards being less anxious when we leave him in the future (every positive experience helps I hope!). Also to note, she was very flexible with our pick up time which I appreciated - I had mentioned I might be able to pick the dog up early, and then when I was able to I messaged her that day and picked him up 3 hours early to hopefully make it easier on Rick. She was also very helpful and provided feedback to me on Rick's behavior at my request so I have a good handle on how his anxiety and overall behavior is progressing as we try to work through it. I care for pets in both my home and my client’s home by keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I know how important familiarity is for animals. In my own home, I maintain a consistent and structured routine for my pets. My dog and cat are fed at the same time every day to keep them on a healthy schedule. My dog gets daily morning walks and dedicated playtime to help burn off energy, especially since she’s a very energetic puppy. I also make sure my cat’s litter box is cleaned daily, and I always clean up promptly after my dog, both indoors and outdoors. I’ve personally potty-trained my dog, which shows my patience and consistency in training. I love taking my dog to local dog parks because I love to be outside and active while also getting her used to socializing. In addition, I stay on top of regular grooming needs, including nail trims, baths, and dental care.

I am working part time from home taking care of my toddler and a fur baby named Andy. I am home all day and love taking my boy and Andy on a short walk around the neighborhood. We have quiet and friendly neighbors which is a plus. We have a fenced back yard ~800sq ft with some turfed space for the dogs to play. Izzy and Benson are very different dogs, and Luciana and Rob took the time to understand what each would need prior to their stay. They took such good care of Izzy and Benson, taking them on walks along new routes and then adjusting mid-stay to provide more consistency for Benson to build his confidence. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such loving, capable, and considerate hands. When complications arose in regard to pickup, they were quick to accommodate and were so flexible. About: Hi! My name is Vivi and I love dogs. (Actually, I love all animals!) I grew up with family dogs and adopted my own last year (she's a complete sweetie). I also have a cat, a bearded dragon, and fish. I worked in a local dog daycare and hotel for over three years and loved it! Now that I'm in a graduate program, I couldn't keep up the hours but missed the dogs. My favorite part of that job was walking the dogs and now I'd love to walk your dog. I am currently working on my clinical hours for my degree and am busy Monday and Wednesday after noons 1-5pm and Thursdays at the same time and at 7am-10am every other week. Any other time is all good for me! When I take care of a pet, I care for them in any ways that they might need. I have had experiences with reactive dogs, dogs with specific medical needs, young dogs who are practicing training still, and senior dogs. I want to do what is most comfortable for the dog and am super happy to accommodate for any needs that they have when caring for them! I have experience reading and reacting to cat and dog body language and know when my presence is invited by them and when they might need more space. It's important to look for the animals consent and comfort when working with and taking care of them so they can remain as happy and stress free as possible!
