“Ross was phenomenal! He sent me pictures and updates every few hours over the several days that my dog was with him. I could see how happy my dog was with Ross, and they had lots of fun time together. I am definitely going with Ross in the future for my dog boarding needs!”

“We are SO grateful we found Luna! Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. She can get stressed easily in new places, which has previously led to tummy issues and even skin flare-ups — so we were very nervous about leaving her with someone new. From the very first message, Luna was incredibly warm, proactive, and thoughtful. She even offered to set up a meet-and-greet right away before we could ask, which immediately put us at ease. Once we dropped Indi off, it was clear Luna treats animals like family. Her own dog, Jim, also has IBD, so she had first-hand experience and comfort caring for a pup with similar needs. Throughout the two weeks, Luna provided detailed updates every single day — including meals, meds, walks, and yes, digestion reports (very appreciated 😂). She took so many adorable photos and videos that we could see how happy and relaxed Indi was. Our dog walker also commented on how noticeably happier and healthier Indi seemed while staying at Luna’s — her stools even improved (a true win for IBD dog parents!). Communication was flawless, kind, and reassuring the whole time. We felt completely at ease, which is priceless. We would absolutely book with Luna again and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a sitter who is caring, attentive, and truly exceptional. Indi came home happy, calm, and healthy — we couldn’t ask for more. 💛🐾”

“Yesica - did an amazing job with our dogs. She followed our instructions to a letter and provide provided us consistent updates throughout the day and even pictures of them. This helped us feel a lot more comfortable. We would highly recommend her and will book with her again.”

“I can tell Sybil had a great time because when it was time to go she curled up in Maria's lap and didn't want to leave 😅. Maria clearly has a way with dogs and my pup had a great time playing with her son as well. Thanks Maria!”

“They are just beyond amazing people who truly care and love dogs. Our dogs had amazing time with them, we can tell! There is no enough words to describe how beautiful people they are.”

“Hope is great with nervous dogs and makes them feel comfortable and loved. We booked her last minute for a week long trip caused by a family emergency, and it was so nice to not have to worry about our pup. Hope is very communicative and sends lots of pics and videos. Great sitter!”

“Louis watched our dog for multiple days over Thanksgiving week, and was absolutely amazing. He gave super prompt communication and is very knowledgeable. We felt at ease during our trip knowing our dog was in good hands. Highly recommend Louis if you are in need of a great dog sitter!”

“Allora was great! I only have positive things to say, Coco seemed so happy staying with her and her family. Allora sent me frequent updates and pictures which was great! I will definitely be boarding Coco with her again.”

“Christine was absolutely wonderful and accommodating my last minute boarding request! She was super attentive and made sure to communicate with me throughout Zosie’s entire stay. My pup had the best time and I can tell she was very well loved and taken care of while I was away. I will definitely reach out to Christine again for any future stays ❤️”

“Great sitter - I only care about the well being of my dog and with Kaya I was super confident he would be fine. He came back after two weeks in great shape and spirit and that’s what matters the most. Kaya was also super responsive and accommodating. What more can you ask for? Thank you Kaya, we’ll definitely come again!”

“Lauren and San are awesome. They took incredible care of Lucy cuddling her and taking her out around town. We appreciated their clear communication and the cute photos we received!”

“My dog Gracie, who is shy, really enjoyed staying with Nadine. She especially loved Nadine‘s dog Cosmo, and happily played with her. Nadine sent me pictures and videos every day and that set my heart at rest that Gracie was having a wonderful time. I highly recommend Nadine. Gracie will be seen Nadine, Cosmo, and the other dogs again. Thank you so much, Nadine.”

“If you are looking for an EXCELLENT sitter for your dog, don't hesitate to book with Deborah! We have one dog with some special problems and Deborah was a champ with her. We got multiple pictures and updates on how they were doing through out the day. Our babies came home happy, healthy, and exhausted, so we know they had a great time. Thank you Deborah for watching our babies without us having to worry about them. BOOK WITH DEBORAH YOU WON'T BE SORRY!!!!!”

I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets. I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week and on weekends. I enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors, and making sure pets get the care, attention, exercise, and companionship they need to feel happy and comfortable. “Such a great first dog sitting experience. Jonathan has such a calm and loving personality he was a perfect 4th of July dog sitter for my pup who can really struggle with fireworks. Very attentive sent photos daily of walks I will definitely reach out again and hope he is available”

“We had such a wonderful experience leaving our dog with Kate! Kate sent daily pictures and updates, so we never had to worry about how our pup was doing; we could actually relax and enjoy our vacation, knowing she was in such caring hands. Kate's own dog, Rootie, is the sweetest thing, adorable, and so well-behaved, which says a lot about the loving environment she provides. It's clear that dogs are happy and comfortable in her care. We're so glad we got to meet Kate and sweet Rootie, and we'll definitely be knocking on their door again the next time we travel. Highly recommend!”

“Patricia was great with my two cats! Even though it was her first visit, both of my indoor kitties came out and greeted her. My senior cat, Juliet, who only likes me and my daughter, actually came out to say hi to Patricia! She truly is a cat person and will take good care of your fur babies. I’m sure I will be booking her again!”

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats since birth and have spent my whole life building a deep understanding of animal behavior and care. Growing up, my family raised two litters of puppies and 4 kittens, giving me hands-on experience with everything from newborn care to socialization throughout various life stages. Cats have been a constant in my life just as long as dogs have. I know how to read their cues, respect their space, and earn their trust on their own terms. I genuinely love every stage of a pet's life and know how to meet each animal where they are, whether that's an energetic puppy, a curious cat, or a laid-back senior. I’ve worked in human crisis intervention for over 6 years, which means I stay calm under pressure and know how to respond quickly and clearly when something unexpected happens. That same steady, caring approach is what I bring to every pet I look after. I do Rover to supplement my nonprofit career, so when I take on your pet it's because I genuinely want to be here, not because I have to be. Your pet won't just be cared for, they'll feel right at home!

“Yasmin was fantastic! Above and beyond! There was some challenges getting into my house and on the last day because I wasn't as clear as I should've been with my instructions. But she was calm and cool and took extra time on both visits without any complaints, did everything that need to be doneand was very gracious about the whole thing. I would definitely recommend her!”

“I’ve never used a cat sitter before and am so glad to have come across Victoria on Rover. Being out of town for several weeks, I felt completely at ease with my old lady cat in Victoria’s care. She’s timely, dependable, and quick to respond. I will definitely keep using her as my go-to sitter in the future!”

“Yu provided excellent care for our cats. She played with them and sent us update throughout the week. She also left everything in our home tidy. Thank you so much for your help. Will definitely rebook.”

“Melissa is a great cat sitter. She clearly cares a lot about animals and has an intuitive sense of caring for them. She rolled with the punches taking care of my indoor/outdoor cat, which comes with some quirks. She was always on time; and always very communicative. I’d feel great leaving her in charge of friendly again!”

“Excellent! Michael is very thoughtful and does a great job. He is very reliable and we feel very fortunate to have such a capable and kind cat sitter. I love that he gives us updates and sends photos. Thanks Michael!”

About: I believe cats require a certain type of person. A person who is patient, attentive to body language, and respects boundaries. I've been around many cats because most of my friends are cat people so I understand how important cat care is! I have had all kinds of pets throughout of my life so I also have experience with other animals, such as birds, hamsters, reptiles, bunnies, & fish.

“Carrie was our first experience with Rover. It was obvious, when meeting our cat for the first time, that Carrie made a special connection with our cat. She paid attention to the instructions we left for her to follow, and helped us feel confident in our selection, especially with daily photos and postings of our cat. We are totally pleased with Carrie and the wonderful care she provided for Ms Mimi. Mimi and her parents look forward to the opportunity to using her services in the future.”
About: I’ve worked cared for high-energy breeds, shy rescues, senior dogs with mobility issues, and everything in between. Whether it’s a long walk, a cuddle session, or administering meds, I’m here to keep your pet happy, healthy, and safe. I’m currently working part-time from home, so I’ll have plenty of time for walks and visits. My pup is a rescue and is reactive to other dogs, so I can’t offer boarding at this time. I care for pets in their own home where they feel most safe and comfortable. I respect your space, follow all routines closely, and keep things calm, clean, and stress-free. I’ll provide plenty of affection, playtime, and updates, so you always know your pet is in good hands. I don’t offer care in my own home due to my own rescue dog’s reactivity.

“Thank you Cyndi for taking care of Jack and Guiness and sending us the pictures, it gave us a lot of piece of mind knowing that Cyndi was taking care of our 2 cats! I can highly recommend Cyndi”

About: I truly love cats and have two of my own. One was rescued from the street, and his name is Macchiato. The other was adopted from a shelter, and her name is Truffle. I also have experience caring for other cats and often help my friends take care of their cats. I’m patient and responsible, and I always make sure cats feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

“Sofia is a great sitter! She was able to watch our cat for a long weekend trip with less than a week notice, for which we are very grateful! She goes the extra mile even though our kitty isn’t very social. She even left us peaches from her family’s orchard!”

“Lizzy was amazing with our kitty, Barney! We were grateful for all the updates, pics, and videos she sent us. She kept us update with his well being and was patient with Barney while administering medication. We are confident he was in excellent hands while we were away on vacation with all the loves and snuggles he received! We plan on using her in the future!”

“I booked boarding with Jill (Hui-Min) for an extended work trip and is so happy I trusted my 3 year old golden doodle, Mika, in her care. From meeting Jill for the first time, she patiently addressed all my questions and even made specific an accommodations for Mika due to her not getting along with a separate dog she was watching at the time. Jill was very transparent with her alternative arrangements which put me at ease to leave her with Jill for an extended period of several weeks. I recommend booking Jill. Mika can’t wait to see Jill again at her house!”

“My dog had a wonderful time! Bonnie was incredibly accommodating and caring, and did a great job with a working breed — they had lovely walks and plenty of playtime together. I loved getting pictures and videos throughout the day, such a nice touch. She also sent updates on eating and snacking. Highly recommend for daycare!”

Growing up, my family raised two litters of puppies, giving me hands-on experience with everything from newborn care to socialization and training throughout various life stages. I currently share my home with three dogs of my own and I regularly care for friends' cats and dogs, both in my home and theirs. My partner, Jen, is also available to support with pet care and walks if you are comfortable with Jen stepping in at times. “My baby husky, Scale, was so excited when Asatur greeted her. Scale ran to Asatur and literally ignored me. I was a bit jealous but I'm so happy because I know that Asatur will take care of her. Thank you Asatur for bringing Scale to the beautiful places. I will recommend you to my relatives and friends. Scale will definitely be your frequent guest.”

“I have an anxious senior pup who hasn't spent much time apart from my partner and I since adopting him a few months ago (in large part due to his anxiety). I did a pre-meeting with Zoe to make sure it would be a good fit for the pup and then we completed the booking. While my pup still let me know later in the day he was mad I left him, when I picked him up he was happy and bouncing around, but also perfectly happy to go back and hang with her. I think this was the most positive experience possible for Rick and am hopeful the positive experience might help him towards being less anxious when we leave him in the future (every positive experience helps I hope!). I would and will definitely book again with her as long as she's available and accepts him again! Also to note, she was very flexible with our pick up time which I appreciated - I had mentioned I might be able to pick the dog up early, and then when I was able to I messaged her that day and picked him up 3 hours early to hopefully make it easier on Rick. That for sure saved me some time instead of needing to pick him up and hitting rush hour on my way home. She was also very helpful and provided feedback to me on Rick's behavior at my request so I have a good handle on how his anxiety and overall behavior is progressing as we try to work through it. Thanks again Zoe (and Partner!)! I really appreciate y'all.”

“Michael is such an amazing dog care provider. He really tunes in to the needs of your dog and is very pleasant to work with. He was kind, accommodating and friendly with me and our dog. He sent great photos, and was very communicative about how the visit was going and afterwards. We will enjoy a visit w Michael and his cute dog soon! You can feel confident that Michael will take very good care of your doggy! Liza”

“Christiano is great with our dog. He is such a nice guy and you can tell he really cares about animals. We feel comfortable leaving our boy with him and know he's in good hands. It's really nice to have someone we can rely on when we need a dog sitter. He even was able to take our dog last minute/day of when we needed someone. Our dog also has some specific needs and Christiano is always accommodating. Definitely recommend him and his team!”

“Nadine was amazing with Lily. This was my first time using the app, and she made the whole experience very easy and comfortable. She kept me updated during the day, sent me pictures, and reassured me that Lily was doing well. I also forgot to bring Lily’s food, and Nadine kindly provided food for her, which I really appreciated. Most importantly, Lily got plenty of playtime and socialization with other dogs, which was exactly what I was looking for. I would definitely book with her again.”

About: Our family loves four-legged friends! As doggie parents for 20 years, we have also taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages from puppies to seniors. We do have a 2.5 year old Beagle and ask that your dog is well-socialized and ready to interact with our dog. That said, we only board one dog at time, so we can shower love and care on your dog. If our home sounds like a good fit, please contact us! My husband and I both work from home and have flexible schedules. We can easily fit in morning and evening walks dependent on your dog's routine. Our home has a doggie door to a fenced backyard, so your dog has easy access to the bathroom and a play area. We are also less than 5 minutes from our neighborhood dog park, so there are opportunities to exercise and run your dog as needed. If your dog eats a raw or cooked food diet, we can also accommodate those dietary needs. Should you dog need continued training or administering medicine, we can do that too!

I make sure they feel comfortable, supervised and cared for. I’m a student at Carrington College so I have a busy schedule in the morning, but i’m free in the afternoon! My school schedule is Monday and Wednesday from 7:30am-11:30am & Tuesday and Friday from 8:30am-2:00pm I’m free Thursday, Saturday & Sunday all day. In my home, I make sure the space is clean, pet‑safe, and free of anything they could chew or swallow. I keep doors and windows secured, monitor pets closely, and give them a calm environment. I follow their feeding, play, and potty routines exactly as the owner requests.

About: About 4 years ago, a pup came into my home unexpectedly. My parents were not very fond of her, so I was her main caregiver. At the time, I was employed at Subway, so I spent my paychecks on making sure she was comfortable, healthy, clean, and safe. I was in charge of feeding, bathing, grooming, walking, and all of the playing. I am currently a student at UC Davis. My classes tend to be in the morning, so my evenings and weekends are all reserved for pet care. I live in a dog-friendly community, where there are plenty of lawns around the property for your pups to go potty, as well as nearby parks we can visit on our walks.
“Ms Victoria has been an excellent choice for my pup Peach. She connected with her immediately and my pup has loved her since. Victoria has been a life saver for me & id highly recommend to others if you need ANY service for your four legged babies 🐶”

“Ross was phenomenal! He sent me pictures and updates every few hours over the several days that my dog was with him. I could see how happy my dog was with Ross, and they had lots of fun time together. I am definitely going with Ross in the future for my dog boarding needs!”

“I can tell Sybil had a great time because when it was time to go she curled up in Maria's lap and didn't want to leave 😅. Maria clearly has a way with dogs and my pup had a great time playing with her son as well. Thanks Maria!”

“Jennifer's husband, Talasson, took great care of Bodie. He's a nervous dog and he seemed relaxed and comfortable there. He and their little dog get along well. I will book with them again in the future.”
“Barley’s stay for nearly 1 week with Radha appears to have been wonderful. Radha sent many photos of their time together relieving any concerns I may have had before leaving him in her care. He didn’t seem anxious to leave her home when I arrived to pick him up, which I had thought he might. Radha had all his toys and bed and food organized for me to take away. I will certainly call upon Radha to care for Barley again!”

“Michael has watched our pup, Stella, a number of times now. She is always well-taken-care of with Michael. He takes her on multiple walks per day and makes sure she gets plenty of outside time. She and his pup get along well, so it is nice for her to have a dog playmate too. Michael sends photos and updates throughout the stay, which is great for when we are missing her. We would recommend Michael to anyone needing someone to care for their pet.”

“Luciana and Rob were fantastic with Calli. She’s a reactive pup and I’m always concerned when leaving her with a new sitter, but Luciana and Rob made it so easy! We had a nice meet and greet before our trip to ensure it was a good fit. Drop off and pick up were super easy and we got regular pictures and check-ins. We are already looking to rebook with Luciana and Rob!”

“Christiano & Sofiia were amazing with Asher. My baby has epilepsy & they gave his meds on time & stuck to his schedule as much as possible. Asher loved his sleep over especially with their dog Skye. They sent me pics through out the day & kept me updated on my furbaby. 10/10 would highly recommend. I will be using them again when I go to Cabo later this month. They treated asher like their own & I am very appreciative & grateful 🫶🏽🧡”

“Luffy really has a great time with Kianna and her family. He gets lots of love from her children and I love seeing all the photo updates! As always, thank you for taking such good care of luffy.”

“Te’Arie was great with our maltipoo pup, who can be a bit on the nervous side when first meeting people and other dogs/cats. She knew just what to do to make her feel comfortable during her weekend stay and I loved how she kept me posted on their outings (walks and nearby beach) and shared pics. You can tell Te’Arie has experience working with different personalities and is also just a really warm, caring person. Would definitely book with Te’Arie again and highly recommend!”

“Our dog had such a great stay with Monica and her family! They took great care of him, went on multiple outings (e.h. hikes, beach), and just loved him up. Also their dog was a great and friendly companion. We’d happily have him there in the future!”

“Jonah is incredible! Actually made my dog a part of his family. I’ve boarded at other places only to see how depressed he was. With Jonah it was 100% opposite, my dog was super happy to be with him. I think it’s rare when a someone treats your dog as well as you do. Thank you Jonah! We love you and your family…I know I speak for my dog Woody too! I hope he post one of the daily photos he sent me.”
