“Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. Thank you for taking good care of our pup!”

About: I've always had a dog. I had dogs growing up, I adopted a dog when I moved out on my own, and I adopted another dog when my children were old enough. Dogs are an important and special part of the family. I enjoy giving them attention, taking them for walks, brushing them, and of course, cuddling with them. Our puppy gets lots of socialization with Zachary's energetic but well-behaved dogs. Zachary has a large enclosed yard for the dogs to run in. Our puppy always comes home tired and happy. I had a beloved dog for 11 years who lived with epilepsy, so I have extensive experience caring for a dog with special medical needs. “Kimberlin was great with our 2 dogs! They stayed with her and her husband for a week getting lots of attention and love. She communicated well, responded promptly to the initial request and all subsequent messages. She’s kind and clearly has a love of dogs that shows through her interactions. She is very understanding and accommodating. Our dogs were perfectly happy when we picked them up after a long week and I’m sure wouldn’t have protested to staying longer. Will definitely be using her again whenever we need help with our pups!”
“Channing took great care of our pets during their stay. Our dog Yeti is still a young puppy and can get anxious in new environments, especially with unfamiliar places and car rides. She gave him extra attention and handled him very well. When we picked him up, it was clear he had already started to settle in and feel comfortable. He looked happy, relaxed, and in great shape. Our cat Dusya is older and needs a bit more attentive care. Channing clearly paid close attention to her as well. Dusya looked calm, well cared for, and content when we came to get her. It is always reassuring when you can see that both animals were comfortable and treated with care. We were very happy with the experience and would absolutely recommend Channing to others.
