About: Hi, I’m Claire. I’m a lifelong animal lover, artist, and plant nursery owner based here in Twentynine Palms. I live out in Wonder Valley where I have a fenced yard with room to run, and a temperature controlled indoor area for dogs to hang out in. I’ve spent over 15 years dog walking and pet sitting, but my experience goes way beyond the standard routine. In 2018 I spent a summer living in a tent on the Denver Glacier above Skagway, Alaska, working as a dog handler and photographer for a sled dog expedition company geared towards providing excursions to cruise ship tourists. Managing teams of energetic Alaskan huskies in extreme weather taught me how to read canine body language instantly, manage energy levels, and keep anxious or excited dogs calm and safe. I currently share my life with Gus (a mellow 6-year-old terrier mix) and Luna (a high-energy 2-year-old shepherd mix), and spent 14 beautiful years with my soul dog, Butters before he passed away at 17 in 2023. About: I currently volunteer at Animal Samaritans, an animal shelter located in Thousand Palms. I've been volunteering for 1 year now and I specialize in the need and care of cats and dogs. My skills can vary from providing companionship to all pets, to special maintenance and cleaning services! About: I have been watching over pups of all ages from a few weeks old to senior pup ages giving them all the cuddles, exercise, and snacking of fruits and vegetables to keep them on their toes. There's always time to relax and rest when I close up the curtains and change the lights to a nice dog cartoon or video for them to fall asleep to or cool down from the sun. I have been a foster parent for pups with my husband for about 2 years and never looked back, we have fostered over 12 pups of all ages to families all over the valley and continue to do so until we move to Oregon. I make home made food and treats depending on what I have available at the moment and provide them with different varieties of snacks that are healthy for them. I give them my attention and my fur babies get to play and socialize with everyone welcoming everyone and sharing all their toys🥰 I am currently staying home while my husband works and I do insta cart shopping depending on the day. And looking into getting my masters online so I have plenty of time to give them the attention they need. I have crates and gates depending on the pups needs. I have my home set up to section off pups if they need time to relax or go and play with others without bothering anyone else.
“I dropped my crazy 8 month old puppy off with Grey for the day while we explored non-friendly parts of Joshua Tree NP. It was so nice to let my puppy off leash and let her play with Billow! And I had Grey drop my pup off which was super helpful. I forgot to pack dinner for my pup and Grey fed her and sent her with extra food. I have experience with every situation you can think of from timid, hyper, aggressive, and disabled. I work from home so my schedule is extremely open! I will follow every request that you have whether you have a fenced in yard or you prefer the dog to be walked with the leash! As far as cats, I am very aware that they do like to run out so I always make sure to squeeze in and out of the door very carefully to make sure none of your pets escape! I take a detailed note of how you like things being done and the time as well to not change your pets schedule too much from the norm. I will take picture documentation if needed and make sure they get fed the correct amount and the way they like it as we know some pets like their food prepped a certain way! This is your baby. I will make sure that they feel loved and safe with me.

About: I have always had dogs in my home, up until a few months ago. I have worked at an animal shelter and have experience with shelter animals (dogs and cats) with walking, medicating, cleaning, grooming and socializing difficult animals. I have cared for older animals and younger animals and know what things to watch out for to ensure the safety of the animal is met. I am also currently volunteering at the Joshua Tree No Kill Shelter. I am completely available 7 days a week! The only priorities I have are my own dog so overnight stays are unlikely for me, but I am open to discussing. About: I absolutely love cats and dogs. I grew up raising/training labs and German shepherds. I currently have 3 fur babies; my oldest shepherd is actually from my families last litter and our youngest shepherd is a rescue although you wouldn’t know it since they act like siblings. Our cat is also a rescue and prefers to stay out of sight from the dogs but is super friendly and talkative when he meets new people. I had a chocolate lab and took care of him until he was 14. (Diapers , shots, oral medication, you name it he and we probably went through it together) if you have a senior dog I am more than happy to help with any extra care that comes along. I’ve raised all my fur babies (with the exception of our cat) from the puppy stages to the elderly stages. I recently moved here and spend 24/7 with my fur babies so I figured why not spend time with more fur babies! I’m currently available Monday to Friday any time. We do allow the fur babies on the furniture and have a small patio that is fenced in so the dogs can go potty when it’s too hot to walk. We also have a small pool that we regularly set up for the dogs in the back so they can play outside in the heat (supervised). I take my dog on walks before the sun starts cooking us and when the sun goes down to stretch their legs. I can take the dogs to the park and play with them as well😊.

About: I’ve worked with all types of pets, small and big, I 'm compassionate about animals and the unconditional love they bring to our lives. Whether it was a shi tzu to a german shepard to a lab, to a horse, I'm a true animal lover. Additionally, I took care of a friend until the end, he got Long-Term Covid in 2019 and died in Feb 2024. I also helped in my mother's care who had muscular dystrophy and my father, who had dementia. I'm a semi-retired entertainment publicist who spent the last 18 years in Los Angeles. After being a part-time resident in PALM SPRINGS since 2008, I'm now a full-time resident that truly loves the desert and no remorse from leaving LA. When I do work, I work from my home office so I'm always around. Also, if you are looking for an extended stays, please reach out to me for discount on mid-long term stays. Mainly by preference, I have my own personal preferences but whatever the Pet Parents want something specific, like no pets on the furniture or bed. Preference for using their own dog bed. I'm here to provide a service tailored to their needs.
About: Ive had dogs in the family ever since i was small so i will always make sure they’re cared for the way they need to be. i’m currently in the military but i will always make time for caring for animals they’re a passion so i will be available on the weekends any time of the day. i do not have the place to take in pets into my own place as i live in the military and it’s unacceptable unfortunately .
About: I love dogs and grew up having all types of breeds but I am any pet friendly. I have had snakes, tortoises, a bunny and now I have a cat! My dog knowledge comes mostly from personal experience that I have optained from my lifetime of being a pet owner. At the moment I don't have a doggy in my life but I need one. I would love to practice my trading, playing and dog walking until I can add a dog to my life but in the meantime I'll enjoy the company of any doggy that will let me. My schedule is very free and flexible. I work part time and do some volunteer work so even though I'm available 90 percent of the time knowing ahead of time what pet might need some attention would be very helpful. Now I have a fenced yard. It's small but there is a park just down the street. To keep the pet in my home, it would need to be crate trained since I have a cat indoors (at least I can know that both pets are safe. And if it's at a clients home then whatever works for the pet and owner. That may be preferable but it all depends
About: When you book with me, you are booking someone who has her own pets and knows what it's like to need someone else to take care of them when you're away. I am a pet parent with 4 dogs! Not only that, but I have numerous experience taking care of other's pets. I've taken care of family's, friend's, and neighbor's pets. I am also a caregiver on another pet app called Wag! I'm working part time currently, so I have lots of time in my schedule to fit in dog walks, sittings, or drop-ins. I also have my own car (am willing to do a good amount of driving), and am currently taking a break from school! I have a fenced front yard and backyard at my home! I do have 4 dogs, but they're all friendly! It would also be easy to separate your dog from my dogs, as well as keep yours or my dog in a crate (I have two extra in my home).
About: I have extensive experience taking care of pets whether they be my own or thru pet sitting. Most of my pet sitting experience is thru trusted house sitters where I have the bulk of my reviews. Please message me for more details! 🥰 I’m able to go on long walks, transport in my car, play and everything else your pet may need. I love taking pictures and can update daily if requested. I work remotely from home so I’m around my pets all day! This also gives me plenty of time to do drop in visits and walks at any part of the day. I adhere to all guidelines in the care guide provided by owners or just their verbal or written directions on how to care for their pet. My own pets over the years I would take on regular walks daily, feed them daily and bathe them twice monthly. I understand that some animals need to build trust with strange humans and I’m extremely patient and I don’t get alarmed easily as I’ve had so much experience with animals especially reactive ones.
