Everything in my home and on my property is pet proofed to be completely safe - plants, food, medications, cosmetics, etc all are stored securely out of reach. In a client’s home I tend to play it safer with the furniture, unless I’m told they are allowed on it, I try to maintain the most well kept home and provide any exercise and entertainment outdoors, being mindful of the heat and keeping them hydrated during hotter seasons!

“Lacey took care of our dog during our visit to Joshua Tree National Park. We are so pleased with the care she provided. Her place is well set up for dogs. They have a play yard where the dogs can run around and play. Lacey is very attentive and gets to know the dogs. Our dog loves to play with others but managed to jump a fence out of the yard. Lacey diligently coached him back into the yard. She communicated with us about this incident and let us know what she would do to prevent it from happening again. Over the three days he was with her, he grew more comfortable, played out in the yard with other dogs without any other incidents, and just seemed at home at her place. We recommend Lacey to others who need care for their dogs when in the Yucca Valley area.”

When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pet and care expectations. No one knows your pet better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new clients! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I know how difficult it can be to be away from your best friend, so I’m here to make that time as easy as possible! When your pet is in my care, I’ll always send tons of updates along so you can be in the loop on everything we’ve done during the day. I’m happy to send detailed information on anything that you need to know just how they’re doing—from behaviors to exercise times to meal prep. Likewise, those updates will always have accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pet and I are having together! I’m also very easy to get in touch with, so I’ll always be on call in case you have any questions or concerns. I’m available for drop ins, walks and short overnights. I am in school finishing my masters degree but tend to be pretty flexible overall, if you have a question send a message! I do drop in visits to your home and follow all instructions left. Times and expectations are agreed upon before arrival. I can let pets outside to use the restroom, feed them, give medication etc just ask! I also had a diabetic cat so I can perform injections if needed.
“We hired Boston to do bi weekly walks for our two pups, Koa and Jax. Koa has always been very wary of strangers and has a lot of "stranger danger" related anxiety. Boston has been great on working with her the last few walks despite her protests, and has been very patient and understanding. Jax, our younger pup, has warmed up pretty well to him already! Boston has always been on time and let us know in advance when he is coming over. He has been very friendly, professional, and kind toward our dogs. We highly recommend!”
About: I have taken care of both domestic and exotic animals all my life. I have lived in mostly farm lands. I have experience with every situation you can think of from timid, hyper, aggressive, and disabled. I work from home so my schedule is extremely open! Whether you have an easy to handle pet or one that is a little more difficult. I have the experience and patience for it all. Currently, I work from home. I also clean houses. My schedule is never really set in stone so I’m very flexible . I am also able to do same day sometimes depending on what I have going on that day! I will not just be checking in on your pet ! If I come in and happen to see your pet had an accident. I will let you know and I will also clean it up for you! I will follow every request that you have whether you have a fenced in yard or you prefer the dog to be walked with the leash! As far as cats, I am very aware that they do like to run out so I always make sure to squeeze in and out of the door very carefully to make sure none of your pets escape! I take a detailed note of how you like things being done and the time as well to not change your pets schedule too much from the norm. I will take picture documentation if needed and make sure they get fed the correct amount and the way they like it as we know some pets like their food prepped a certain way! This is your baby. I will make sure that they feel loved and safe with me.

About: I absolutely love cats and dogs. I grew up raising/training labs and German shepherds. I currently have 3 fur babies; my oldest shepherd is actually from my families last litter and our youngest shepherd is a rescue although you wouldn’t know it since they act like siblings. Our cat is also a rescue and prefers to stay out of sight from the dogs but is super friendly and talkative when he meets new people. I had a chocolate lab and took care of him until he was 14. (Diapers , shots, oral medication, you name it he and we probably went through it together) if you have a senior dog I am more than happy to help with any extra care that comes along. I’ve raised all my fur babies (with the exception of our cat) from the puppy stages to the elderly stages. I recently moved here and spend 24/7 with my fur babies so I figured why not spend time with more fur babies! I’m currently available Monday to Friday any time. We do allow the fur babies on the furniture and have a small patio that is fenced in so the dogs can go potty when it’s too hot to walk. We also have a small pool that we regularly set up for the dogs in the back so they can play outside in the heat (supervised). I take my dog on walks before the sun starts cooking us and when the sun goes down to stretch their legs. I can take the dogs to the park and play with them as well😊.

I'm working part time currently, so I have lots of time in my schedule to fit in dog walks, sittings, or drop-ins. I also have my own car (am willing to do a good amount of driving), and am currently taking a break from school! I have a fenced front yard and backyard at my home! I do have 4 dogs, but they're all friendly! It would also be easy to separate your dog from my dogs, as well as keep yours or my dog in a crate (I have two extra in my home).

About: I love dogs and grew up having all types of breeds but I am any pet friendly. I have had snakes, tortoises, a bunny and now I have a cat! I grew up in a small town and with not a lot money but I always somehow managed to find a stray cat to take home. I could never leave a cat or dog my heart will not let me and I’d always take them home till I found there forever home.
