“My husband and I booked a pet friendly hotel in Pasadena and planned on going to the 626 night market last weekend. At the time of booking, we didn't realize pets weren't allowed to be left unattended at the hotel at any time. Desperate to figure out where to leave my 10 month old pup Emma for a couple of hours, I learned about Rover and (around 9:30pm) began to message everyone and anyone I could in hopes of finding a last minute pet sitter. Angelica was quick to respond and very eager to help me with my situation. Upon dropping my pup off, her personality was very welcoming and her sons also looked very excited to spend time with my Emma. Although my pick up time was anticipated to be pretty late (around midnight or 1am!), she didn't seemed bothered by it at all. She truly is a pet lover! “Adrienne and Mike were a great team in caring for Sadie, our 14 pound 7 year old cockapoo. Sadie is a bit timid and has only stayed with one previous caregiver. So a 16 day stay was a concern as Sadie is very attached to her two human parents. Adrienne and Mike helped prepare Sadie to know we would be coming back for her by offering two complimentary stay overs, 2 hours each, for Sadie to get used to them and their home and to know we would be coming back to pick her up. Sadie has always been hand fed and Adrienne had no problem in realizing that on her own and accomodating Sadie's special need. In interviewing different care givers we found that not all caregivers let you see the actual inside of the home where their pup will be staying. But this was no problem for Adrienne and Mike. We also liked that they were a 2 person team so if one of them came down ill, there would always be a back-up. We definately recommend this two person team to others. Thank you Adrienne and Mike !”

I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. I have a doggy door for dogs who prefer to let themselves in/out at their leisure. I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture.

She went above and beyond to ensure that our cats were well looked after, cleaning litterboxes, sweeping floors, and keeping an eye on food/water levels. We received albums of pictures as well as a detailed report on our pets' behavior. She even helped with setting up an automatic feeder that we had forgotten to setup. I grew up with a German Shepherd who I helped care for from puppyhood until she passed when I was 18, giving me years of experience with walks, feeding, exercise, and lots of love. About: Hello! I have grown-up with dogs all my life. I currently have two adorable babies Charles and Tika (1year old siblings) who I love to pieces. Aside from my job as a nanny, I have dog sat more times than I can count and take my bosses dogs to the dog park 3 times a week for exercise and playtime! I have taken care of dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors and enjoy going to the dog park or walking around the neighborhood! It brings me so much joy and happiness into my life! I am a nanny and have been with the same family for over 16 years. I took care of three children but now I only have the youngest left. All dogs are on a leash until we arrive. Once we are there I play ball or walk around with them and always have my attention to make sure they are safe from any aggressive dogs or anything on the floor that they might want to eat. I bring my two little yorkie mixes with me for company and playtime with the other dogs. I carry wipes, poop bags, water, and hand sanitizer at all times because it comes in handy on a daily basis!

Because of this I’m great with senior dogs, but also dogs of any age. My love for dogs extends beyond my own. I would love to open my home up to more dogs that can keep me and Riley, my 13 year old Cavalier company! Riley is the sweetest boy and gets along with any dog! He’s never bit or has ever been aggressive. However, I can separate him from your dog upon request! :) I work part-time. A couple days a week for a few hours if that. I’m usually working from home on my laptop so I am able to attend to your dog at all times. I have a large fenced yard and a senior Cavalier who is great with every pet. I can walk your dog once or twice a day and they will never be left unattended.

About: I grew up having birds, dogs, cats, turtles, and rodents. I currently have my own senior poodle who I trained to give his right and left paws distinctively. I used to work at a humane society as part of the kennel staff. There I would clean the cages twice daily, take the dogs out to run in the yard, feed them 3 times a day, and take them out for enrichment and socialization. I currently volunteer helping marine birds, marine mammals, and baby terrestrial mammals get as healthy as they can until they can be released. Other than that I am available so I can provide your pet with the care they need. I can crate your pets if necessary and make sure any gates or doors are properly closed. I make sure things that pets are not supposed to eat are out of reach as well.

At the time of booking, we didn't realize pets weren't allowed to be left unattended at the hotel at any time. Desperate to figure out where to leave my 10 month old pup Emma for a couple of hours, I learned about Rover and (around 9:30pm) began to message everyone and anyone I could in hopes of finding a last minute pet sitter. Angelica was quick to respond and very eager to help me with my situation. Upon dropping my pup off, her personality was very welcoming and her sons also looked very excited to spend time with my Emma. Although my pick up time was anticipated to be pretty late (around midnight or 1am!), she didn't seemed bothered by it at all. She truly is a pet lover! About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs, and I keep my numbers small so every dog gets real one-on-one attention. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. I have a doggy door for dogs who prefer to let themselves in/out at their leisure. I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture.
