“I am so pleased with the care given to our baby. She was so spoiled being with Tara. We worried leaving her but she looked way more relaxed than leaving her in the pet hotel we usually send her to. She had Tara’s full attention and used that to her advantage to get treats and pets. We could use more pictures and updates but that’s because we are obsessed with our girl.”

“Marley had such a fun stay, and we felt completely at ease leaving him with Jeffrey and Victor! Jeffrey’s updates and photos were so reassuring. It was clear Marley was having a little vacation of his own and loved spending time with their pup, Barney. He was obviously in very capable, caring hands—just as he would be with us. We already have a second stay booked and look forward to many more!”

“Cynthia and her family are truly a Peninsula gem. My dog, Loki, is a border collie mix who thrives on daily outdoor adventures beyond neighborhood walks—he’s a regular at Fort Funston and Thornton Beach and definitely has high standards for exercise and enrichment. During his stay, Cynthia went above and beyond to cater to all of Loki’s needs and kept him happy, active, and well cared for. I especially appreciated her family-centered approach to pet sitting—it made such a difference knowing Loki was treated like part of the family. We’re so grateful for the love and care they gave him and will absolutely be booking with Cynthia again!”

“Kami has an amazing time and is always in a great mood whenever she stays with Mimi and Wilson! I look forward to every “pupdate” with the cutest photos, and Mimi is always super responsive with messages. Highly, highly recommend if you’re looking for someone to give your pup great care and attention. :) Thank you!!”

“Yu-Liang and Yi-Ting were great sitters for our dog, Micro. They were very communicative prior to the booking to make sure they would be able to accommodate her needs. During the booking they updated us daily and sent beautiful pictures. Will definitely use them again in the future.”
“Luke was so great with Garbanzo! He has two other pups Roo and Pickles who get along well with other dogs. He sent me lots of photos of the dogs tired after long days of fun at the dog park.”

“Many thanks to Gordon and Allison for taking such good care of our 2 Pomeranians, Addie and Coco, while we were away on vacation. We very much appreciated the email updates and photos and felt very comfortable being away, knowing they were in good hands. We would not hesitate to leave our dogs with them again and will happily recommend Gordon and Allison to anyone needing dog-sitting in the future. Thanks again, Jill, Kenny, Addie and Coco”
“Christine was fantastic with “Bo.” She kept us updated throughout the evening with pictures and stories while we were gone. Bo was very comfortable with Christine. She was genuinely sweet with him and made him feel comfortable right away. We highly recommend Christine to anyone who needs a caring person to take care of their four legged family members.”

“Like before Arani and Nupur took really good care of corki. They made sure he ate food and took him out on regular walks. I would recommend them to anyone looking to board their pets”

“First time leaving our dog with anyone. He’s such a loved part of our family and Erica/Steve were fantastic! They sent pics of hime almost every day and referred to it as his doggie vacation. And it was! Cain had a blast and made all kinds of new friends! Thank you Erica/Steve!!!”

“Maria was great. Really kind, caring, communicative, and she did great with my dog who is sometimes difficult. Thank you Maria, I will definitely contact you again for dog-sitting in the future.”

“Renee and Chris were outstanding! They agreed to a last minute request when I had an urgent need to fly home. We arranged a meet and greet very quickly to make sure our dogs were compatible. Chewie is a newly adopted rescue and he can be overwhelmed in new settings. He adapted quickly as Renee and Chris provided him with plenty of love, exercise, play time. I also received lots of updates which put me at ease while I was away. I would absolutely recommend them!”

“Yining took incredible care of my dog Milo over an 8 day stay. I received a lot of updates, and I had full confidence that Milo was very happy having his own vacation! He and Electra (Yining’s pup) became fast friends and played a ton. Milo also had extra fancy meals and enrichment activities the entire time! I can’t wait to book Yining again.”

“Kitty is the best!! I was nervous to leave our two rescue dogs with a stranger, however they immediately took to her and spent 5 pampered days and nights. They were clearly very well taken care of and super happy in her care. I will definitely use her again. She is great!! Loved getting updates and photos while on our trip.”

“Marie is amazing. This was a last-minute booking on my part and she had never met my dog before. She won him over quickly, has a lot of experience with dogs, and even took initiative to give Willy Wonka a small haircut around his eyes because I haven't had time to maintain him. He was in very good hands with her and her communication was stellar!”

“We received daily videos. It was a rainy weekend, so they couldn’t get out much. My dog was happy in the videos and it seemed like she didn’t want to go home when we picked her up. Since this was our first time using this sitter, we met up beforehand.”

“My cat usually hates everyone except me and my husband but she appeared for Stephanie! Stephanie did a great job following the instructions we left and was able to take us on at the last minute when our usual sitter fell through. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Vicky provided great service to our two birds and our two fish tanks. I know Rover is more tailored for dogs/cats but Vicky was great to adapt and take care our pets. I plan on using her for our next trips.”

“Nikka is a wonderful, caring and attentive pet sitter! She stayed at my house with Juno and Lumi for a long weekend and I received lots of happy cat pictures over my time away. It's so nice to go out of town and know that my house and my boys are well cared for. Thank you Nikka! The boys miss you 😉”

“Sandra always makes a great effort to make our kitties feel comfortable and visit during times that they’re accustomed to being fed. She’s attentive to our instructions, and compassionate about our fur babies’ eccentricities. We’re grateful when she’s able to checkin on them while we’re out.”

“Victor was absolutely amazing! He did a 3x visit a day for my dogs and cat while I was out of town for a few day. Victor went above and beyond to make sure the pets were well supervised loved, taken care of and also made sure I got adorable videos. Thank you Victor for taking such great care of the house and the fur babies :) we absolutely appreciate your attention to detail and care for animals!”

“Jasmine (Jie) was a wonderful sitter for our cat. We booked 2 weeks of drop in visits while we were traveling and she went above and beyond. Our cat loved her and we could travel with a peace of mind since we knew she was taking good care of her. She is very attentive and also very responsive to messages. She would notice little details and changes in our cat and let us know immediately. We would love to keep working with Jasmine in the future!”

About: I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely understand cats because I’ve had a few of my own. I’ve cared for both kittens and senior cats, and I can give basic medications when needed. My goal is to keep your cat comfortable, relaxed, and happy while sending plenty of updates so you always know how they’re doing

“We've hired Chenyang to help cat-sit our senior kitty, Luca, for a 10-day period. Chenyang is wonderful to work with; she is very accommodating with drop-off and pickup times, very responsive, and goes above and beyond with our requests. Luca was recently admitted to the hospital, so during his stay, there was extra medication that he had to take. Chenyang helps with the additional medication, and also, her place is clean and quiet, perfect for Luca to have some quality rest while regaining his health. We would recommend Chenyang, and I would definitely work with her should we need to board Luca again.”

“If we could give Tina 10 stars instead of 5, we would! She is so communicative, reliable, and takes absolutely WONDERFUL photos! We were delighted every time Tina checked in on the Rover app as we knew our kitties were in great hands and we’d receive super cute photos of our little goofballs while we were out of town! We will definitely be booking Tina’s services again! ??”

“Brianna was an amazing pet sitter for my two pet bunnies! She communicated all throughout my trip, sent lots of photos, and I knew the bunnies were in good hands. Highly recommend and booking again in the future 😊”
About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old. My two recents are Cow and Calf. Cow is a Saint Bernard/german shepherd mix and Calf her son we bred with a Mastiff. I have them trained and capable for any situation. I spent arduous hours training them to be farm hands and hunters. We have a loving home and now reside in Pacifica, CA. I have careers that allow me to be present at home with them and I want to extend that loving, caring and supportive home environment to your dog(s). They won’t have a single day without fun or socialization if they’re with this pack. I am currently working from home and have a flexible schedule. I walk my two dogs about 2-4 hours every day hiking through the Pacifica hills near Mori Point or taking the dogs to the beach. My dogs and I are best friends. We are almost always together and when I’m out handling client calls they are with me. I give them hours of play outside at the beach and mountains daily. These spoiled pups eat an organic whole food diet and have a vast collection of toys they are very happy to share with a play mate. Dogs are welcome in our home and I would gladly take heed of any and all requests from a client in my home or theirs! We would treat a client’s home like our friend and Family’s to ensure it’s as good or better than when I arrived.
“Crystal agreed to come over for a meet and greet, and take care of our pet cat, Felix, during a last-minute trip around the holidays. She took great care of Felix - we came home to a healthy, happy cat.”

“Alyssa watched my cat while I was gone for the weekend. She did a great job, was always on time and administered the medication that he needs while I was away. He was a happy boy when I got home and it seems like they had a good time together. I’ll be booking her again in the future.”

“Antonio is amazing. Thoughtful and reliable, even thought to ask about garbage day and took the cans out. We came home to two happy cats. Look forward to working with him again!”

About: I've had dogs my whole life ranging from a 105 pound Lab to a 9 pound Chihuahua. Family friends and acquaintances have relied on me time and time again to house sit and watch their dogs/cats. As a college student, I like to keep a structured schedule, making it easy to incorporate your pet's care into my daily routine. I have set blocks of time in the mornings, between classes, and in the evenings that I dedicate to feeding, walks, and check-ins. On weekends and lighter class days, I’m able to spend extra time on longer walks, playtime, or sitting stays. I stay organized and plan ahead, so pets always get consistent attention, exercise, and care. I prefer caring for pets in their own home because it keeps them comfortable, relaxed, and in a familiar routine. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely—feeding according to their schedule, refreshing water, providing potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special care they need.

Your babies will be cared for and loved just as if they were my own. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your pets. I’m currently working at night. So I’m mostly at home all the time. I am up all morning and afternoon. Then like around 8 o’clock I go to sleep. I have a fenced yard where they can play and There’s also a dog park nearby and a Beach I should go there almost every day I’m currently not working , so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available for dog walking and visiting drops I do have a fence yard , but I do love to go long walks. If I do ever babysit in my house, I will treat them like my own.
“Cynthia and her family were the best. Very accommodating and easy to communicate with. She sent us multiple pictures and videos throughout the day which made me feel at ease. I was so happy to see that Amaru had fun and enjoyed his stay. Will definitely book with Cynthia again and am so happy to find a new dog sitter for Amaru close to home. Thank you so much for everything!!”

“Jeffery was fantastic. Our puppy is very skittish and doesn’t take to new people easily. By the end of doggy daycare, she was letting him pet her and feed her treats. This speaks volumes! It is clear from all interactions with Jeffery that he’s a very caring individual that puts your pet first and foremost. Would definitely recommend. Also his dog Barney was the cherry on top! Both dogs loved to play together.”

“We used Leticia for daycare for our dog. Leticia asked for our dog's vaccination records and when we arrived, illustrated she had knowledge of dog behavior and social dynamics. She had a well-structured yard setup that allowed for safe, controlled introductions between dogs as well as safe entry and exit of the yard with a double gate system. She was a great listener, observer, had excellent communication, and is punctual.”

“It was my first time using Howard & Linda for day care, and it was an excellent experience. Howard and their dog Truman met us for the meet and greet before the scheduled stay, and the dogs got along, as Truman is very easy going. My dog is not friendly with large dogs and requires a special diet, as well as, a regular feeding and walking schedule. Howard accommodated all of my dog’s needs during his stays. Howard & Linda are very friendly and personable people, and I highly recommend them!”

“Roxie had SO much fun playing at Stephanie's while I was traveling. Stephanie sends regular videos and updates and it's comforting to know your dog is having fun and well cared for while you're away. I appreciated her great communication from booking onward, as well.”

“Jessica was great with her communication and follow up before, during and after I stay. It was obvious she enjoys caring for dogs! She sent lots of pictures during the day. Great job!”

“Cristina helped me out with my 4 month old puppy for two days while I had to attend a remote workshop. She was super flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, gave great updates and pictures, and Maple had a great time! It's not easy looking after a puppy - thank you so much, Cristina!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Steve and Erika, and the loving care they provide to my dogs. Several years ago, I had a senior dog (Luna) with mobility issues and medical needs. Especially towards the end of her life, she was delicate and it was difficult to find people willing to board her. Erika was amazing with Luna. She made her a little senior dog apartment area in her living room, where she could be near the family and other dogs, but was protected from the rambunctiousness of younger dogs. She hand fed her food and cooked special meals for her. She gave her all her medications without difficulty and would sit with her and encourage her to eat and drink. Erika and Steve let her out in the middle of the night when her old lady dog bladder needed to go. I didn't travel much in the last year of Luna's life because I didn't want to be away from her, but when I did, I always knew Erika would take amazing care of her and love on her like one of her own dogs. I still watch and cherish the videos she sent me of Luna during her overnight stays. When we got Freya, our pandemic family addition, it was no question of reaching out to Erika again. Freya was a rescue dog, so had some socialization issues in the beginning when we first got her. Taking her to Erika's to board during the day when we are both at work has been transformative. Freya is now a happy, social dog, especially with other dogs. We jokingly refer to Erika as Freya's Nana (Steve is obviously Pop). Every time we go to drop her off, she can't wait to go inside and play with her dog friends. We trust Erika and Steve 100% with our dogs. I recommend them at the highest level, without reservation.”

“We're ongoing clients of Gordon & Allison with multiple day sittings. We appreciate Gordon's patience with our senior dog and his sincere interest in wanting her to have a good experience in their home. He was kind in ensuring perishable food was kept chilled when our dog didn't finish her meal. We're so glad we found such trusted sitters.”

“Drew is the best dog walker we have ever had - she genuinely treats Mika like her own dog with the love and care she provides. From day one, she took the time to understand Mika’s unique personality and needs, making sure she felt comfortable and safe. Drew’s communication is outstanding with regular updates and photos, and she’s incredibly reliable, showing up on time every single day. Mika absolutely lights up when she sees Drew coming to the door, which tells us everything we need to know about their bond.”

“Aimi has truly been a blessing to our family. We were nervous to entrust just anyone with our fur babies, yet she immediately gained their trust along with ours. I appreciate her clear communication, attention to detail, and has flexibility with our schedules. She charges a fair rate which I think is huge as it speaks to her integrity. Thank you Aimi for making Hendrix and Stevie feel safe and comfortable!”

I’m available for visits and drop-ins most days, and I build my schedule around giving each pet the time and attention they need. I’m not available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays because I work at UCSF, but the rest of the week I’m flexible and happy to help. “Ryan was amazing! I am not used to letting my pup on walks with someone we both met first time, but Ryan put me at ease immediately! He was great with my dog. Definitely recommend, and will rebook!”

About: Hi! I’m Victor! I love animals! Over the past 6 years or so friends and clients have hired me to pet sit, dog walk, drop in on their cat, look after the puppy, feed the bunny, you name it!! I’ve got tons of animal experience from being out in nature so often in my life. My older brother worked for the zoo when I was growing up, I held all sorts of reptiles and birds. I exercise daily, so adding your dog to the routine is a great way to spice things up! Although I’ll do my best to match your dog’s energy. Getting excited enough for a run is a good thing, but calmness has value too. I do command training whilst out and about with your dog reinforced with treats and/or attention. I try to care for your pet as best I can while you’re away. Currently I am enrolled in class once a week so I have availability to be certain your pet has attention all throughout the day, alone for 3 hours at the longest. Typically I walk the dogs I sit for about 1-4 hours over the course of 2 walks and 2 relief breaks to get outside. I believe it’s important for dogs to be outside and experience smells. It’s so cute to see them sniff around! I wake up to do exercises before taking the dog out on what aims to be a long morning walk. Especially if we didn’t get out the night before. This ranges from 3-6miles depending on how much time we have. Upon returning, breakfast, stretches and playtime. At this point, if I have work, I step out until I’m finished and then return for an afternoon walk, dinner, stretches, and a relief walk before zzz. Without work I’ll cuddle with the dog, clean up the place, cook some food, do various training exercises with the dog, or go out on extra walks. I don’t offer boarding services at my place unfortunately.
About: I have 7 years of hands-on experience working with dogs. I started as a volunteer at a local shelter, where I helped care for dogs and supported daily routines including walks. Later, I became a professional dog groomer, working with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments—shy, playful, senior, high-energy, and everything in between. This background helps me notice small details that matter (comfort, body language, and safety) and handle dogs calmly and confidently. I’m also a proud dog parent to my own 3-year-old pup, so I truly understand how important trust and consistency are when someone is caring for your best friend. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I set aside specific hours each week for walks and drop-ins, and I always allow extra time for safety and updates. For walks and drop-in visits, I follow your routine closely and prioritize safety first. I keep dogs leashed, avoid risky areas, check doors/gates, refresh water, and send photo updates every visit.

“Luke was so great with Garbanzo! He has two other pups Roo and Pickles who get along well with other dogs. He sent me lots of photos of the dogs tired after long days of fun at the dog park.”

“Wei was an awesome dog sitter who took care of our energetic little pup. There was clear communication on drop off and pick up and she also did a great job communicating during the time we were away. Would definitely recommend her. -Bryant”

“Drew and Gregg were absolutely fantastic. Not only did they give Wednesday the best care possible, but they were so knowledgable about caring for aging dogs and in particular dogs with Cushings disease. They went above and beyond to make Wednesday comfortable and loved during her stay. We will definitely itself boom with them again.”

“Rachael and her partner were nothing short of amazing with our dog Indy. Indy was instantly relaxed when he arrived for the night at Rachael’s, and had a lovely evening of cuddles and play with Rachael and her “crew”. Her dog and kitty were equally as welcoming to Indy! The picture updates were amazing and unexpected, and I could tell Indy was incredibly comfortable for his overnight stay. 10/10 recommend Rachael, and we will absolutely be booking with her again!”

“William was a great host for our dog! Our little Lola seemed to have a blast the entire time with them and their dog Audi, and came home happy, healthy, and exhausted from her time playing! We also had an emergency where our return flight was cancelled and pushed back to the next day. William was able to accommodate and added the extra day with no problems, so we knew our little one was safe and gave us one less thing to worry about. They were very good with constant photos and updates to let us know of her progress while we were gone, and our dog seemed sad to leave at the end. I highly recommend William and will definitely be willing to use them in the future.”

“Valentyna took such wonderful care of Brahmi while we were away. As this was the first time we left him with someone else, we were initially nervous, but those feelings disappeared the moment we met them. Their confidence and ability to work with his sensitive, special needs character were clear, and he immediately felt comfortable. We truly appreciate the love and care that was provided, we highly recommend Valentyna.”

“Julley was absolutely amazing! She was super communicative from the get-go and she pays attention to details. Marvel is usually picky about who she likes but she formed a connection with Julley instantly. Julley went the extra mile to take care of Marvel and I felt so comfortable having my fur baby in her hands. Julley was very responsive with her messages and pictures. She is a very capable sitter and was able to follow all my care instructions. We definitely look forward to booking with Julley again!”
