“I’m writing this review to help others who are looking for the perfect person to watch their precious fur babies. Like many of you, my pets are incredibly important to me. I have three indoor cats, including Luna, my “scaredy-cat” princess, who usually only likes my wife and I. My biggest worry was that Luna would be too terrified to eat while we were away. This is my first time using a pet-sitting app. I chose Trisha because she lives nearby, has cats of her own, and had great feedback. We had a wonderful meet-and-greet where she was punctual, attentive, and showed a genuine love for animals. Because our vacation was a month and a half away, I asked her to come over one more time right before we left to review the routine. She happily agreed, which really put my mind at ease. Trisha visited twice a day for one hour over seven days. She was incredibly reliable never missed a visit and sent daily reports with pictures. While Luna spent most of the time under the bed, Trisha used different feeding tactics to make sure she ate. By the end of the week, Luna actually came out of hiding for photos-which is huge for her! When we returned, the house was immaculate. The litter boxes were clean, and the floors were perfectly vacuumed of any tract litter. I am so relieved, and will definitely be using Trisha for all our future Pet setting needs!”

I've been the only house/dog sitter for a pair of Dalmatians for the last 5 years. I've handled puppies that are still working on becoming housebroken as well as senior dogs that need regular medication and extra care. I do in-home tech support/ IT work. When a customer's animals have warmed up to me, I've been asked if I did pet sitting as well. It feels good when the pet picks you. I asked Tracey on short notice to elwatch Penny for a day to see how she did. She has never been with anyone else so I was worried she would be stressed out. “It was such a delight for my chihuahua mix Maui to stay with Dipanjana and her husband and her cute dog Kulfi for the first time! Dipanjana was very proactive and thoughtful in preparing us for our first day care visit, letting Maui get familiarized with her dog and home, ahead of our daycare appointment, which I appreciated immensely since my dog has separation anxiety. She is relaxed and easy with communication and with Maui to make him feel at home like letting him sniff around, play with toys, or sit on her lap. She was also very on top of it with any instructions I had for his stay. Her home and neighborhood are also very clean and comfortable. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.

About: I have been taking care of pets for over six years. I have cared for fish, cats, and dogs. I have a big dog myself so large dogs do not scare me. I am great with animals and am more than willing to do house sitting, day time check ins, walking, bathing, etc.! I am about to graduate from school so I will be home all the time and will be able to stop by for house visits or to hang out with pets all day. Though for things like walking dogs would prefer to do that in the morning in order to beat the heat! I have a large fenced in yard with one dog to keep others company. My dog is crate trained and is non aggressive. In the house there is no chemicals or other harmful substances that pets could access. Additionally most cabinets and such are baby proofed so cats or other small pets would not be able to get in or trapped.

About: Hi pet parents! My name is Tiali and I am a UC Davis graduate with my degree in Entomology and Animal Biology. I have over 10 years of experience working with animals, including reptiles, amphibians, birds, and both exotic and domestic mammals. I have worked as a vet tech and have previously worked at the UC Davis Campus Veterinary Services, UC Davis Veterinary Rehab Center, Sacramento Wildlife Care Association, and the San Francisco Zoo in their Animal Resource Center (where I have learned how to clean enclosures, prepare diets, properly handle, and train over twenty species of exotic animals). I have also previously worked as a PetsHotel associate in PetSmart where I was responsible for monitoring Doggy Day Camp with an average of 20 dogs per group, caring for boarding dogs, leading individual sessions with dogs, and caring for boarding cats. Not only do I have extensive first-hand experience with pet care, but I also have research experience involving animal behavior, training in raptor handling, and have been a dog owner my entire life. I currently have 5 cats of my own and several other pets (all insects, reptiles, and amphibians)! I can’t wait to meet your furbabies when you book with me! I work graveyard so my schedule is super, super flexible during the day. This allows me to easily accommodate you and your pets’ schedule based on their needs! Safety and trust are two of the most important things to me when caring for pets. For a pet to feel safe, I always take my time when greeting them for the first time, getting down to their level, and not making any sudden sounds or movements that may come across as a threat to the pet. This ensures an initial formation of trust between me and the pet. Following pet parent instructions is also essential and I make sure to be aware of the pet's needs and their preferred routine so I can make them feel as comfortable as possible. Additionally, I am a very vigilant person and am always keeping an eye on the pet I am caring for, to ensure their environment is safe and free of any hazards and the pet continues to be healthy and happy.

About: Comfortable with any size or breed of dog. I have a fenced yard with no small children, easy access to walking trails and dog park. I am retired and am home all day and weekends. I have a dog friendly vehicle and flexible schedule. I usually walk 4-5 miles daily. I am comfortable with all dog breeds. I have room for crates if needed, and have a dog friendly home. I can follow specific dietary needs
About: I have been taking care of pets for over six years. I have cared for fish, cats, and dogs. I have a big dog myself so large dogs do not scare me. I am great with animals and am more than willing to do house sitting, day time check ins, walking, bathing, etc.! I am about to graduate from school so I will be home all the time and will be able to stop by for house visits or to hang out with pets all day. Though for things like walking dogs would prefer to do that in the morning in order to beat the heat! I have a large fenced in yard with one dog to keep others company. My dog is crate trained and is non aggressive. In the house there is no chemicals or other harmful substances that pets could access. Additionally most cabinets and such are baby proofed so cats or other small pets would not be able to get in or trapped.
