About: I absolutely love all animals! Growing up, my family always had a minimum of two dogs at a time. Since I was young, I have been trusted by friends and family members to watch over not only their pets, but their plants as well. As an adult living alone, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home, however, my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a vacation or a work trip to a clean home and a happy animal! I have been working with Meowtel watching cats for the last year and have found it to be exceptionally rewarding. Recently, my sweet cat passed away and I left my demanding job. Due to these circumstances I have decided that since I have the time and opportunity, opening my home to board would be a great way to expand my offerings. I look forward to meeting this community and giving dog (cat, plant, etc.) owners peace of mind while they travel, get stuck working a double, or just want to support their companion with an extra afternoon walk. I left my extremely demanding job in December after my cat got sick. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Since his passing, I have focused on taking care of pets and cleaning homes. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible! I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walks and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block or to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate. I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.

About: I had a dog for 15 years and while we are holding out on getting a new one for a few years till we stop traveling so much, we would love to hang with yours periodically when in town! We have a fenced in yard to throw a ball in (and a six and nine year old who never tire in doing so) and love taking walks to all the local Piedmont parks with a pup. My husband is mildly allergic, so unfortunately only able to take in non shedding, hypoallergenic poodle type mixes. And of course dogs need to be kid friendly, but my kiddoes are very sweet and gentle with dogs and will give the dogs lots of pets and affection in return. My husband and I both predominately work from home so there's always someone around to love on a furry friend or take a break to get outside for a walk. I predominately work from home and I love frequent walks with a pup. We live close to many Piedmont parks which is a great place to go and visit other dogs or just explore some new grounds. I have a fenced yard and loving older gentle children who adore pets. I can crate your dog if desired to sleep, but also have an 8 year old that would be very happy to snuggle if preferred. You can trust that we will care for your pups as if they are our very own family dog for the duration of their stay.

About: I have a sweet German Shorthaired Pointer named Belle who keeps me active. Belle and I enjoy long walks at the Berkeley Marina, Point Isabel, and King Estate. On good days, I take Belle on hikes at Redwood, Sibley, and the surrounding areas. I am home full-time with my 6.5 y/o German Pointer, Belle. Belle and I spend at least 1 hour outside everyday, weather permitting, and would love some company on our daily adventures. I can't take her out on hikes daily so some days consist of multiple walks with many potty breaks throughout the day. Belle is a very sweet and easy-going dog; she can be anti-social or shy at first and needs time to warm up to other dogs. Don't be offended if Belle shows no interest in your dog! Dogs have supervised access to the yard for bio breaks and are free to explore the home. Mental games and toys are available to keep dogs entertained if I am busy in the kitchen or running errands. I also like to train dogs basic cues (sit, down, stay, here/come, etc.) so if you are okay with that, I'm happy to do so! Belle and I completed beginners and intermediate training with Bravo Pup, and I like to continue to reinforce our training every day.

About: My pug mix Lulu will LOVE to go on walks with your dog in the Oakland hills. Lulu loves all friends and has made so many furry friends in the neighborhood in Piedmont Pines. We are very active together and go on lots of walks, hikes and I take Lulu to Joaquin Miller dog park and Fairy Land dog meet up. I'd love to take your dog along on our adventures and host your dog at my house, or go for a drop in visit with Lulu at your house. We'll have so much fun together, especially with Lulu wanting to play constantly! Your dog's comfort and safety is my priority, and I also give them so many hugs and snuggles. Since I have my 2 year old Pug mix Lulu, we have a great routine together that includes morning and afternoon walks and taking her to dog parks in the evening. She also has her best friends up the street on Ascot and we go play with them a bunch of times in the week. Lulu's happiness and joy is my priority, and we prioritize being outside for playtime and hikes as much as possible. I'll be sure to include this care for your pets as well because they deserve to have the most fun possible!! I currently work a couple part time jobs and my schedule is very flexible. Pet care is easy for me at the moment. I try my absolute best to keep everything as safe and as comfortable as possible at my home for the dogs!! About: Since 2011, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all kinds...puppies to seniors, from Pomeranians to Labradors, and even the occasional Siamese cat. I truly enjoy being around animals and offer dog walking, pet sitting and dog boarding because I genuinely love their company. I share my home with Lola, a large, goofy, and very friendly pup who gets along with everyone—humans and dogs alike. As a result, I’m only able to board dogs who are also dog-friendly. I am also available for drop in visits (dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more...no snakes tho. I work from home so I am available for boarding and drop-in visits any day as long as I received advance notice, otherwise I am pretty flexible. My home is your dog home while you are away. It is dog proof, with no sharp corners, many rugs, and use of gates to limit room access when needed, I live in the neighborhood of Montclair in Oakland, a house with a garden and surrounded by nature.

About: I absolutely love all animals! Growing up, my family always had a minimum of two dogs at a time. Since I was young, I have been trusted by friends and family members to watch over not only their pets, but their plants as well. As an adult living alone, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home, however, my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a vacation or a work trip to a clean home and a happy animal! I have been working with Meowtel watching cats for the last year and have found it to be exceptionally rewarding. Recently, my sweet cat passed away and I left my demanding job. Due to these circumstances I have decided that since I have the time and opportunity, opening my home to board would be a great way to expand my offerings. I look forward to meeting this community and giving dog (cat, plant, etc.) owners peace of mind while they travel, get stuck working a double, or just want to support their companion with an extra afternoon walk. I left my extremely demanding job in December after my cat got sick. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Since his passing, I have focused on taking care of pets and cleaning homes. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible! I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walks and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block or to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate. I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.
