Daisy is nervous around other dogs but Kelly made her feel comfortable. Daisy even made some friends! About: We've designed our experience a little differently than most. Rather than filling our home with multiple unfamiliar dogs, we intentionally host just one dog (or one family's dogs) at a time. We made this decision because we know separation can be hard. Our goal is to give every guest a calm, relaxing vacation while giving their humans peace of mind knowing their pup has our full attention. My husband Cameron and I have both been around animals our entire lives and have experience with puppies, seniors, bulldogs, and dogs with special needs. We also have two young kids (ages 3 & 6) who absolutely love animals and know how to be gentle and respectful around them. Whether your dog loves hiking, backyard sniff sessions, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch for a nap, we'll happily match their pace. We'll also send plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay because we know being away from your dog isn't always easy. We'd love to meet you both! We keep our schedule intentionally flexible so we can build our day around your dog's routine instead of expecting them to adjust to ours. Your dog's safety is our number one priority. Our backyard is fully fenced and we supervise outdoor time closely. Because we have young children, we've already built our home around safety. Medications, chemicals, and anything potentially dangerous stay locked away, and as a gardener I'm always mindful of which plants are safe and which aren't. If your dog joins us for a walk or an adventure, they'll always be on leash and right by our side. They won't be left unattended anytime, ever. We don't take guest dogs to dog parks or introduce them to unfamiliar dogs. We prefer controlled environments where we know exactly what's going on. We know leaving your dog with someone new can feel stressful. We take that responsibility seriously and will care for them like one of our own.

About: I grew up with 6 pit bulls, taking sun baths with them in my backyard. I’ve volunteered in SF SPCA and donate monthly. My best friend aka Herita is a rescue, she’s been with me for over 3 years now. I believe animals have taught me how to love unconditionally and responsibly. I normally take Hera on a walk every morning for about 30 mins. Come back and hit the gym. After that I’m free. I can always head over in the am, afternoon or evenings. About: I have loved animals my whole life! My walls were always adorned with National Geographic photos of my favorite creatures and I longed to one day have my own little wolf pack! I grew up mainly with cats and have a huge adoration for the felines of the world. I once had a three legged cat named Ziggy ( Stardust) whom was my most treasured companion. I always had friends with a lot of dogs who depended on me to love and support them as my own. Currently, I have a 8 year old Black Labrador Retriever named Olive who has been my closest furry friend for years! I truly consider her a part of me. I also have been raising my Yellow Lab pup, Juniper, since she was 8 weeks old. She is now currently 4 years and 2 months old. Raising a puppy has by far been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I have had so much fun training her! I consider myself a confident two legged friend who knows how to set healthy boundaries so that a pup can become the best they can be! I am a practicing herbalist and my heart is always geared towards healing. I care deeply for the sweet animals in my life! I am currently working part time and am an online student. Generally, I am available some mornings for dog walking and some nights as well. Sitting is a possibility but may be limited to my schedule. Feel free to ask! I like to play a little fetch or tug with them out in the yard or whatever keeps your pup stimulated:) But happy to take a nice long walk when appropriate for your pooch. I am very attentive to all animals and do my best to make them feel comfortable and loved.
