I had to find a sitter on extreme short notice and I was so thrilled that Chawntea was willing to accept my pup with less than 12 hours notice and for a 13 day stay while I was out of the country. My pampered pooch was treated like her own and I honestly think she may have came back more spoiled than when I left her and after that much time away it was a wonderful feeling knowing she was cared for so well. Our dog is dog-reactive and they had ideas for best routes to walk him in their neighborhood. During our trip, they were able to use their intuitiveness to troubleshoot some barking at night. Having pets of my own I am very well aware of the responsibilities that come with a dog. I know just exactly what is required of me, and what is expected. After a long hard day at work, you will be able to come home to a cuddle bug just waiting for your arrival. Or even while you are away on vacation, you can be rest assured knowing that your pet is in good hands! What comes with your pet visit: 1 on 1 attention full of love and care. 30 minutes or more of playtime at the dog park at least once per stay 15-20 min. walks (at least 3 times a day). Meals will be served morning and evening Positive reinforcement is a must! Please note that it is a MUST that your dog is neutered/spayed to prevent any accidents. And let me know of any problem behaviors so I can best understand your dog's needs and how to approach it.
About: I have been taking care of my family’s and friends dog/pets for years now due to my love of animals, I made sure they are well fed and taken care of no matter what. Nothing makes me sadder than a suffering animal, so I make sure they are taken care of no matter what! I can usually do it after my classes during the week days but I tend not to want to do weekends since I need the free time to make sure I have everything in my personal life taken care of. I make sure my own dog gets her daily walk in the morning before feeding her then once I get home I take her for a walk again before making dinner for her and myself. And of course playing with her outside in my backyard and letting her lay with me if fireworks goes off since she is deathly afraid of them.

About: Gentle (or jumpy!) giants are my specialty. I’ve spent the last 15 years sharing my life with Bullmastiffs, Dogues de Bordeaux and Cane Corsos from puppyhood to passing.
