“Aaron knew Zeus from walking him previously, so we were thrilled when he was willing & able to have Zeus stay in his home while we were away. Thank you Aaron and family for taking such good care of our mutt.”

“Melanie took great care of my dogs and dropped them off before we arrived! She was lovely to communicate with and my dogs seemed happy and healthy when we got him. Her place on the hill with the fenced in area looked lovely for the dogs. Will definitely use Melanie again!”

“I got so many updates, photos, etc. Booking with Ron was last minute due to a friend sitter falling out, and even though I had to have my boyfriend drop off my dog and then a close friend pick her up due to my complicated travel plans, Ron was SO accommodating and my dog seems so happy. Would absolutely book again. I was actually able to relax during my vacation because of how easy going and attentive Ron was.”

“Christina and fam are wonderful! It's very clear that they deeply care for their own pets and did everything possible to make sure our two little old ladies were right at home. For me, one of the biggest ways to tell how things went is during pick up. When I got there, my dogs were of course excited to see me but clearly felt right at home with Christina, weren't stressed out or any of those other kinds of things you might look out for. We are so pleased with everything, we are booking again!”

“This is the second time we booked with Susan. Susan and her family were perfect for my high-energy baby. They gave him more play time and attention that he probably gets at home! We highly recommend her!”

“Gina is a true dog lover. She cared for my Olive like she was her own and provided excellent communication from start to finish with texts, photos and videos. Olive may have had a better time at Gina’s than she does at home. Thank you Gina!”

“Wendy & Dave were absolutely fabulous! We left our two golden retrievers with them while we were away on a Christmas vacation / getaway, but I think the real vacation was the stay Emberly & Rippy had while we were away. We received so many pictures of the fun they were having. It's clear they truly loved our babies. I can't imagine a better temporary home than with Wendy & Dave. We have a couple of longer trips planned & would not consider any other boarding options. Thank you for showing our furry family so much love.”

“I had a last minute trip and Melissa took great care of my pup while I was away! She was flexible with my early drop off time and very responsive. Thank you!”

“I am so happy with the care Sarge received!! He’s little and old and I was nervous to leave him, but Kristin was kind and accommodating of his picky eating habits, and sent lovely updates. Absolutely will look to them again for our next trip!!!”

“Chelsea provides a safe and nurturing environment for the pets she watches. We feel so lucky to have found someone like her and highly recommend her services.”

“Erin was wonderful all around. My boy was well-loved and definitely a happy camper. She was flexible and went above and beyond to keep me posted and care for him. 10/10 would recommend!”

“We left our beloved Poodle and Airedale plus another Poodle we were babysitting while we were at a destination wedding in Tahoe. This was a difficult decision for us as our dogs have never ever been left with someone else. We couldn't have been more happy. Beautiful home, Beautiful yard and loving care. My dogs, while confused, were instantly at ease. Kathy sent pictures and updates though out the dogs stay. It was easy on us and easy on the dogs. I would recommend Kathy in a second and if I have the chance to go to tahoe again, I would use her again in a second. The best picture was the two standard poodles sitting with her on her couch one on the left and one on the right. Thanks again Kathy.”

“My Kingsley had a great time with Kelly over this past weekend. It was Kingsleys first time with her and by the end he was a part of the family. She did a very thorough and welcoming interview with me and really made me feel like Kingsley was getting individual care from her. Her dog is so friendly and welcoming and the pictures and updates were just what I needed. We will be coming back!”

“Megan and her family are great! This was my second time using them. They kept me informed, sent pics, and gave my girls lots of love. I will definitely use them again in the future!”

Henry and I will work together to make sure your dog is happy, healthy, exercised, fed and loved. We had an elderly dog who we loved dearly, who passed over the rainbow doggie bridge, so to speak, in May. We are used to administering medicine and taking care of all types of dogs because of him. We also have a toddler in our home so dogs must tolerate little kids. Andi is home full-time to be with your dog. Henry goes to school Monday - Friday but is excited to help on weekends and after school. We live in a neighborhood without fences. We will walk your dog as many times per day as they need. They can be on leash or off leash depending on recall and temperament.
“Ronnie was fantastic. He and his pups were very friendly and sweet to our high energy blue heeler. Edith basically had her own doggie vacation. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves their pets like family.”

“Zoey had a great time at Kymberlys! She seemed happy and calm in the videos she sent and seemed to warm up to her fast. She went on walks and visits to the park in the short time we were away and it seemed she was in great hands! :) Will definitely book with her again.”

About: My family and I have owned pets since I can remember. I am currently 33 with 3 pets of my own, but have grown up with pets in the home my whole childhood. My family always had dogs and cats in our home, and additionally I owned a bearded dragon, fish, and a tortoise that I helped care for daily. Once I moved to college in 2014, I got my first pet of my own. Her name is Stella and she has been with me for the last 12 years. She has lived with me in Oregon, Texas, and now Reno. Additionally, my wife and I have a silly orange cat named Nemo, and a fun/energetic Frenchie named Comet. While living in Texas we adopted another cat with FeLV who also developed diabetes. I have experience giving insulin injections and taking blood glucose readings. I have met and cared for many of my friend’s pets of all ages and sizes and can responsibly provide all daily care for your furry babies as needed. This includes but is not limited to feeding, walking, playing, transporting, giving oral meds, and subcutaneous injections. I currently work as a teacher and have extended breaks during the fall, winter, and summer. During the school year I will have availability during afternoons and evenings for some care activities, and weekends for more. During breaks, if not traveling, and I will have a lot more flexibility daily. Update 06/08: I am currently on summer break from teaching. My weekday availability has been updated with more available times/ services. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 2 dogs and an indoor cat. The pets have access to the entire unit including furniture during the day and when sleeping. Our spare bedroom can be used for your pet if they are more anxious and want separation from the other animals. My dogs are crated when no one is home to supervise, and the cat has full access to the unit at all times. My pets are all friendly towards other dogs and cats. In the past when sitting for animals, I have them fall into the same routines as my animals for walking, feeding, pottying, and crating, unless specified different by the owner. When doing drop ins and house sitting, I follow all instructions left by the owner.
“April and Rachel did an amazing job. Kayla was super happy, well cared for and definitely enjoyed her stay. She felt safe and that was very important to us. Will definitely be booking with them again. They are very kind, understanding and very accommodating. They treated kayla like their own.”

“Kiera visited our cat every day and kept us up to date on what was going on. We were out for over a week and we appreciated the punctuality and daily communication. A great job, overall!”

“Danika was an absolute life-saver when our cat ended up going to the emergency vet just a few days before my family and I were going on vacation for a whole week after. As he recovered from his vet visit, he required constant care which involved multiple check-ins a day, monitoring how often he drank water, ate his food, and used the litter box. He also needed to be given 3 different medications on different time schedules, 2 of which required being administered with a syringe in his mouth. Danika was able to do all of this and even texted us updates after each visit to let us know how things were going. Her availability on such short notice along with her attention to detail and genuine love and care for our cat gave us the peace of mind we needed to enjoy our vacation without feeling worried the entire time. I would gladly book her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone else needing someone to look after their kitties. Huge props to Danika!”

“Alexis watched our senior cat for us while we were out of town and she was excellent, very communicative and attentive! We really appreciated the photos and updates while we were away. His routine isn’t the quickest and easiest so we really valued Alexis’ care and attention to detail while we were gone. Highly recommend her services!”

About: My love for animals started when I was a little girl on a small family farm caring for goats, chickens, horses, and of course—dogs. I participated in 4H and horse competitions, which taught me patience, confidence, and responsibility around all kinds of animals. I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities—from tiny lap dogs to giant mountain adventurers, puppies to seniors. During COVID my daughter began boarding dogs, and we naturally grew into the dog care business together. It’s become a true family passion and we absolutely love what we do. I’m available full-time, including weekends and holidays. Your dog will get plenty of attention, outdoor time, potty breaks, walks, play, and cuddles throughout the day. When dogs stay with us, they’re treated like family. We live 15 minutes from downtown Truckee on 22 private acres of forested land with a meadow and trails to explore. We also have a secure fenced area for safe outdoor play and structured time. Inside, there are cozy napping spots and fresh water available throughout the home and property. Between the open space, toy baskets, sticks, and balls—dogs leave happy, tired, and content.
“Chelsea takes such good care of our puppy! Rue and Goose are best friends and she always comes home worn out from playing all day! Rue is so excited to stay with Chelsea for the day. Chelsea has been very flexible with our schedule and we appreciate her so much!”

“Danielle was a fantastic sitter for Oreo! She was incredibly responsive and her home is perfectly set up for dogs - I loved seeing the protective sheets on the sofa, a dedicated water station, and a secure yard for roaming. She kept us updated with photo and messages while we were skiing, which we really appreciated. Oreo came home happy and even smelled great! It’s clear she takes excellent care of her guest dogs. We will definitely be booking with her again when we’re back in Reno!”

“Nikki was absolutely wonderful with our dogs, Enero and Angelina! From the moment we met her, it was clear she genuinely loves animals and treats them like family. While we were away, she kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It wasn't just that she was doing her job—it was obvious from the way she interacted with them that she truly cared about their happiness, comfort, and well-being. Both dogs looked relaxed, happy, and well-loved in every update. Nikki went above and beyond to make sure they were cared for, and we could tell they enjoyed their time with her. We highly recommend Nikki to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive pet sitter. We would gladly have her watch Enero and Angelina again!”

“Nikoleta is a wonderful dog sitter! My miniature dachshund, Jake, was so well taken care of in her care - lots of exercise, playtime and hugs! Nikoleta sent me lots of photos and kept me updated throughout the day (as per my request). I would highly recommend Nikoleta - she clearly has a genuine love for animals - she is warm, trustworthy, responsible, kind and has a lot of love to give!”

“Shannon and David accommodated my anxious pup so I could see a show while visiting Reno. Their communication and level of care were both excellent. My dog came back very happy and ready to nap.”

“Our two pups are regulars and love Cameron and Amanda. I’ll be the first to say our female Weimaraner is high strung. Somehow Amanda worked her magic and our baby girl is calming down. I’m henceforth referring to Amanda as the Weimaraner whisperer.”

“My dog left her house so happy. She had individual areas for him and slowed him to roam in those areas and the backyard. She sent lots of great pics through the day and did gray with my nervous little guy.”

“Melissa was wonderful with my puppy Lucas. She sent updates and pictures of him throughout the day and provided excellent care. I will definitely be booking with Melissa in the future, she's terrific!!”

“Rachel is amazing! I had mom guilt because I’ve never left my dog with anyone before this was all new to me. But she made me feel secure and that my dog would be well taken care of. what I loved the most was getting pictures and updates on how my dog was and more importantly how comfortable my dog was with her. Thank you Rachel!!”

“Madelyn took great care of Sophie! She took her on a fun hike with the other pups and sent nice photos. We're looking forward to future stays with Madelyn!”

I make sure pets are always secure, supervised, and treated with calm, reliable handling.
About: I work from home, so dogs in my care are never left alone and always have company, attention, and love throughout the day. They get multiple walks, dog park time, a calm cozy environment, toys, music, and their own comfortable space to relax. They’re also welcome on the furniture and can sleep in bed if that’s what they’re used to. I truly see dogs as family members, not pets. I treat them the way I would treat my own child — with patience, affection, protection, and lots of care. I love having them near me while I work, and I make sure they feel safe, included, and deeply loved every moment they’re here. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work from home, so I’m around and available throughout the day. That means your pet gets more attention, regular potty breaks, and consistent companionship—not just a quick visit. On a typical day, I can plan morning, midday, and evening walks/potty breaks, plus playtime and feeding around my work schedule. I keep things structured but flexible, so I can match your pet’s routine (especially helpful for puppies, seniors, or pets that need extra check-ins). Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my priority is always the same: safety, routine, and a calm environment. I’m detail-oriented, I follow your instructions closely, and I keep you updated so you feel confident the whole time. In your home (drop-ins / house sitting): I stick to your pet’s normal schedule for feeding, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. I do safety checks (doors/gates secured, leashes/harnesses fitted correctly, no access to unsafe items). I keep the space tidy and stress low—especially for pets who do best in their familiar environment. I send photo/video updates and notes after visits. In my home (boarding / daycare): Calm, supervised environment with plenty of attention since I work from home. Frequent potty breaks, exercise, and structured downtime. I keep pets separated when needed (feeding time, high energy, or if a dog prefers their own space). Only pet-safe areas are accessible—no unsafe foods, small objects, or risky spaces. My safety rules, always: I don’t take dogs off-leash unless it’s a securely fenced area and you’ve approved it. I use positive reinforcement (no harsh methods). I watch for signs of stress or illness and communicate quickly if anything seems off. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable and for you to feel totally at ease.
About: What sets me apart is the level of attention and care I provide. I keep a calm, clean home and limit the number of pets I board at one time so each pet gets plenty of individual attention. I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine, providing a low-stress environment, and keeping you updated with daily photos and check-ins. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for — not just watched. Because I work from home full time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship while you’re away. Plenty of outside time and cuddle time! When pets stay in my home, they’re treated like part of the family. I maintain a clean, calm environment and limit the number of pets I care for at one time so each animal receives plenty of attention. I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and bedtime. Because I work from home full time, pets are rarely left alone and receive consistent supervision and companionship. I also provide daily photo updates and check-ins for peace of mind. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining consistency and comfort. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding routines, walks, medications if needed, and any household preferences. I’m respectful of your home and ensure your pet feels safe and relaxed while keeping you updated with photos and detailed check-ins after each visit.

About: Hi, I’m Angie! I started walking dogs my senior year of college and loved the quality time I got to spend with them! I truly feel like pets embody the purest form of love. I also started watching cats during my time in law school and have experience administering medication. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust when finding someone to care for your furry family member, and I'd be honored to care for your baby! I like to provide consistent updates with plenty of photos throughout the time I share with your pet. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! I’m currently waiting on bar results so my day-to-day schedule is pretty flexible, and I'd be happy to check in on your pet while you're at work or on vacation! I will treat your pet like my own! I usually like to meet the family before I start caring for your pet on my own so we can all get familiar with each other. I also provide photos and updates throughout my walk or visit. For dog owners, I’m happy to share my location for the duration of the walk as well!
About: I have had dogs my entire life and will treat yours as my own. I am happy to send pictures and updates of our walk or time together while you are away. I can take your dog on a walk around the neighborhood, run, hike, to the river or lake, or whatever you suggest. I can provide pet sitting at your house or my own. I have a home with a fenced in yard perfect for doggy day care. I have a flexible schedule that can fit your needs. I'm looking forward to meeting your pup! I am a local teacher who works Mon-Wed so those days I am gone during school hours. Thur-Sun and summer I am available with a flexible schedule. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in yard that’s perfect for a pup. My most recent dog was an old golden retriever with medical needs so I am used to providing special care.
About: I've had dogs since I was a boy with my first pup Emma sleeping in my room every night. Since, my wife Rose and I have adopted our dog Lily as a puppy over 7 years ago and before that cared for an ederly dog, Breyer, for about a year and a half where we made his last year comfortable. Last year we also adopted a couple kitties Frank and Poppy who can be precocious but generally keep to themselves. Lily is the biggest sweetheart (ask anyone on Rover) and now that we have our own home I want to invite other dogs over for playtime, boarding, and all the walking they can ever need. Lily has been through extensive professional training which included detailed methods for us on how to treat and take care of all kinds of dogs. I work from home full time on a flexible schedule so I can tend to dogs as needed. We have a big fenced in yard for play and the usual routine would be a long walk about 3 in the afternoon with frequent potty breaks as needed. Fully fenced in yard, dog house outside with a dog door. Essentially, if your pup comes to our house they are treated like a member of our family.
About: Hi my name is Tanum, I have been training, grooming, and taking close care of dogs since the age of thirteen. I absolutely love dogs and treat every one like they are my own. I enjoy hiking and being outside, especially if my best friend Thompson is with me. Thompson is a BloodHound and Chocolate Lab Mix, I rescued him from the Mustang train tracks about 5 years ago. He was very scared and needed a ton of attention at first, so training became a must. I try to expand my knowledge as often as possible and hope to help others do the same. During the 2018 dog influenza, I was fortunate enough to work at a veterinary hospital to help assist at that time. Keeping dogs and animals healthy and safe is priority one. Thanks for reading, don’t hesitate to reach out if any questions arise. I am Flexible. I work part time at a hemp and cbd company. We grow and process organic hemp products like pet CBD in Carson City. Feel free to ask any questions if they arise. I’m educated on the growing process. This is safe for your dogs and we get great feedback. I don’t bring cbd with me on trips but will upon request. My schedule books up fast but I can make things work just message me. Thank you I understand the significant trust placed in me when asked to care for someone else's pet and home. I approach this responsibility with utmost seriousness and make it a priority to establish clear communication from beginning to end. I remain readily available for any questions or concerns as they arise. You can trust that I will leave your home just as you left it and return your animals fed, exercised, and happy!

“Zac was a great help when I couldn't walk my dog because of an injury for 3 days. He responded very quickly and answered all my questions. We have a friendly, playful 9 month Great Dane who is already over 100 lbs so I wanted someone who was comfortable with that size. He is friendly, was here on time and was good with my dog. The pup came back happy and was pleased to see Zac on subsequent visits. I recommend him and will use again when needed.”

About: I've had dogs since I was a toddler, cared for puppies, seniors, and every stage in between. I'm familiar with specialized care needs and comfortable with all requirements including daily injections and monitoring. I love our furry friends and approach their care passionately. Your dogs are going to love me more than you thought possible. I'll love them equally too. I currently work a flexible and remote schedule so I'll be available for your pets often and prioritize their needs. I enjoy my morning and evening walks and I'm happy to include your furchild to get them enough stimulus and some exercise. I currently have an elderly rescue who can be aggressive at times with other dogs, so I'm unavailable for taking new dogs in my home, but she is very well loved and cared for so I'm free for all in house pet sitting.
About: We have taken care of animals all our lives and have a genuine love for each of them. We have experience with it all; new puppies and kittens, as well as older furry friends who may need special treatment and/or administering medication. Between the both of us, we always make it a priority to work with our pups with lots of playtime, exercise, training and socialization daily. We both are self employed and create our own schedules so we are flexible and work together to ensure our pets have an enjoyable & active day. We have a large dog-friendly fenced-in yard as well as amazing trails just outside our backdoor. Our Aussie-Border Collie mix, Penny is super friendly and submissive and gets along with everyone. She is super gentle when needed and can hold her own with larger dogs also. We have a very well socialized cat, Eleanor, who LOVES dogs and visitors.
About: With a lifelong passion for animals, I've immersed myself in their care since the age of 13. From volunteering at shelters and farms to watching over various pets, I've nurtured a deep bond with creatures of all kinds. Whether it's a cat, dog, guinea pig, bearded dragon, or any furry friend, I'm committed to their well-being. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my priority, as I continually seek to improve my skills and connect with them on a personal level. Expect me to go above and beyond, treating your beloved pet as if they were my own. I’m currently working part time hours so my availability is flexible. I am available throughout the week and over the weekend as well. Let me know when you would need me and I can see how I can make that work for you. I have one dog and a cat at home. We have a very safe backyard that is surrounded by a fence and we make sure to watch them whenever they go outside. We make sure that when we leave the house that we’re not gone for too long so that our dog can go to the bathroom and that both our dog and cat are comfortable and emotionally secure.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I have experience with all sizes of dogs from small to giant. I moved here from Colorado and am missing the outdoors. Rain or shine I love to be outside and I can't think of a better partner-in-crime than a dog! I work from home and my schedule is really flexible. I think Rover is the perfect way to give myself walking and doggy play date breaks. I have plenty of free time and would love to spend it hanging out with your pup! My focus is always making sure the dog has a great time. I've found that it is critical to communicate with owners to learn specific dog's habits and preferences. I'd like to do things the owner's way, so you feel comfortable while you're away for a few hours or a few weeks.

“I am so happy with the care Sarge received!! He’s little and old and I was nervous to leave him, but Kristin was kind and accommodating of his picky eating habits, and sent lovely updates. Absolutely will look to them again for our next trip!!!”

“Erin was wonderful all around. My boy was well-loved and definitely a happy camper. She was flexible and went above and beyond to keep me posted and care for him. 10/10 would recommend!”

About: I am Andi, mom to 12-year-old Henry. Henry LOVES dogs and is excited to host some new dog friends in our home.
“Zoey had a great time at Kymberlys! She seemed happy and calm in the videos she sent and seemed to warm up to her fast. She went on walks and visits to the park in the short time we were away and it seemed she was in great hands! :) Will definitely book with her again.”

“April and Rachel did an amazing job. Kayla was super happy, well cared for and definitely enjoyed her stay. She felt safe and that was very important to us. Will definitely be booking with them again. They are very kind, understanding and very accommodating. They treated kayla like their own.”

“Danielle was great communicating with us and sent photos of my dog Ume while I was away. Ume was able to sleep with her on the bed. Danielle was able to keep with Ume's eye drop schedule and administer her eye drops. Thank you! We will book again :)”

“Our doggie had a great time in Sarah’s house; Sarah took a good care of Tarzan so that we had a worry free vacation! We are very happy with Sarah’s service; we will use her service again in the future!”

“If it helps — we’re repeat clients. Shannon and David are amazing. They took such great care of Bella, were very responsive, and sent us daily photos. Highly recommend them if you want peace of mind while you’re away!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brittany was absolutely amazing! She watched my dog while I was out of town and truly went above and beyond. When I had a last minute change in plans, she stepped in and completely saved the day. Knowing my dog was in such caring and capable hands gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about my dog’s well being and I couldn’t be more grateful. I highly recommend Brittany to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter. She definitely earned 5 stars!”
