“Ana took wonderful care of our two dogs, Claire and Molly, during their 9-day stay. Claire requires insulin injections twice a day along with eye drops twice daily, and Ana handled all of her medical needs carefully and consistently, which gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away. When we picked them up, both dogs were clean, happy, and clearly comfortable with Ana. In fact, they didn’t even seem eager to leave like they usually do after staying at larger retail boarding facilities, which really says a lot about the level of care and attention they received. While I love and adore all animals, cats are definitely a favorite of mine :) Im very comfortable providing enrichment activities and play time with cats. Im also very comfortable with grooming cats (brushing an cutting nails). All cats have different needs and I am more then willing to meet cats where they feel comfortable. About: I’ve been around animals for most of my life! I grew up with my dog Molly who was part of my family for 14 years, so I understand the responsibility that goes into caring for a dog through all the stages of their life. I also volunteered at a dog shelter for about a year, where I walked dogs, cleaned their kennels, fed them, and of course spent plenty of time playing and cuddling with them! This gave me experience caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. I’ve also fostered three kittens (at separate times) who needed medication and extra care. On top of that, I’ve cared for friends’ dogs both in their homes and mine. I’ve done everything from feeding and walks to drop-in visits and having dogs stay with me for extended periods of time. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ll treat your pet with the same love and care I’d want someone to give my own! My school schedule varies Monday through Thursday, but I’m usually home earlier on Mondays and Wednesdays. Tuesdays and Thursdays are my longer days, and I typically get home around 8 PM. I’m mostly free on weekends, which gives me plenty of time to spend with your pets! If I do need to step out for a little while, my mom or dad is usually home and can keep an eye on them. Whenever I’m caring for a dog, I do my best to be home with them for the majority of their stay. I make sure they’re fed according to their normal routine, get plenty of potty breaks and walks, and receive lots of attention throughout the day! I also understand that every pet has their own routine, so I’m happy to follow any feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, or other special care their owner provides.

I have antibiotics, ear drops, antifungal cream and much more because I use to take care of animals that were abandoned and rescues. About: Ive been caring for dogs since 2010. From Shih tzus to Weimaraners. I am very understanding of dogs’ needs at any ages, especially senior dogs. For the past 6 years I’ve been caring for cats as well, fully getting to know what goes into cat care. Caring for cats has been such a great experience. I’ve become close to an expert when anticipating a cats needs and wants. I’m comfortable with cats that are super friendly to cats that are super shy and keep to themselves. I currently have full availbility and can care for pets anytime during the day, afternoon, evening and overnight. I am very flexible with my schedule and can work with most schedules. I never leave my dogs unattended in the backyard because while it is completely fenced off they are curious and can sometimes find ways to go get into things. I also never let them off the leash in the front yard. I monitor eating time to make sure no one eats the others food. I also specially prepare their food based on needs (vitamins, mix-ins, microwaving food, etc). Also putting on coats or sweaters if it’s too cold. For my cat I never let her go outside so I’m very diligent when I let the dogs out to the backyard. I prepare her food as well similar methods to the dogs. I keep up with her nail trimming and brushing as well as keep her litter box clean and tidy. They all have had different medications at different times so im very use to keeping track of different medications needed per pet. When weve had chincillas, guinea pigs and fish, Im always very attentive to how they are. This entails monitoring them if they are getting time outside of their enclosure, cleaning up after them and making sure the other animals in home are respectful of their space :). Many times I have had to redirect my cat away from the fish tank with either a churu treat or toy lol :)

Claire requires insulin injections twice a day along with eye drops twice daily, and Ana handled all of her medical needs carefully and consistently, which gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away. In fact, they didn’t even seem eager to leave like they usually do after staying at larger retail boarding facilities, which really says a lot about the level of care and attention they received.
