About: We absolutely love animals, and want to share our home and fenced yard with your pooch. We understand what it’s like to leave your dog with someone else while you’re away; we will treat your dog like a member of our family. I (Diana) grew up on a farm with lots of different animals and dogs, and understand how each one has their own fantastic personality. Just let me know what they need, and I can do it. We’ve had puppies, older dogs, big dogs, small dogs, and everything in between! My tween/teen kids are kind and fun with animals, and will provide even more love and attention for your dog while they stay with us. Thank you for trusting us with your favorite furry buddy! We primarily work from home so we can spend a lot of quality time with your dog. We have a Newfoundland-poodle mix of our own, so our daily routine is already focused on dog care (feeding, walking, letting outside, etc). Just let me know what your dog needs! We also have goats, chickens, outdoor cats, and a couple of feral peacocks that hang around the property. It’s a pet paradise. 😊 We have a large fenced yard and a big goofball named Hoagie to keep your doggy company. We will love and care for your dog as if he/she was our own, because that’s what we would expect for Hoagie while we’re away. We have extra pet beds, food and water dishes, etc. Our yard is perfect for a game of fetch, a sunbathing session, playtime with Hoagie, or just a great sniff. We’re happy to have your dog sleep in one of our bedrooms, take them for walks, and give them all the love.

“Sasha dropped in on my dog Willow a few times this week and I could not have asked for a better person to take care of her. Willow is very nervous around strangers, generally very distrustful and defensive, but she seemed to connect with Sasha from the start at the meet and greet. Sasha was so sweet and understanding with her, never pushing Willow to interact more than she wanted to. When she dropped in, Sasha took Willow outside and played with her (sent me the most adorable video!!), refilled her water, gave her some treats, and cuddled with her on the couch. Before she left on the last day she even cleaned up some of Willow's toys, which I am always terrible about doing. It was such a sweet gesture when I myself was already nervous about someone coming over, it put me right at ease. ? Sasha was very communicative and went above and beyond dropping in on Willow and I couldn't be more grateful. I will definitely contact her again for future drop ins when I need them!”

The cats took to Ella immediately, which was surprising but made it much more comfortable leaving the two kitties in her care. “Louisa was absolutely wonderful! On our trip up to Ashland, we were hit with wildfires in the neighboring area and the air quality was horrible. Our original arrangements for our dog fell through and I didn't feel comfortable leaving my dog alone in a kennel outdoors for a couple of hours at our air bnb, but thankfully there was Louisa. My dog can be a bit anxious around other dogs she doesn't know. She growled a bit at Louisa's puppy when we arrived for our meet and greet and I was worried that behavior may continue. Louisa was very reassuring and kept us posted on our dogs behavior and well being. About: As a cattle dog owner, I'd like to think I have a special set of skills for crazy babies. I have always had rescues and fosters in my home. I have been fortunate to work with foster pets from the Caribbean and Mexico as well, each of these often came with health issues. I have experience with pregnant dogs and cats as well! If you are interested in having your pet stay over, know I have two very friendly dogs. They have both experienced having guests and foster pets in the house as well. Tolerant and obedient. I have multiple rooms and baby gates for separation and quiet time. In general, I am a very active and outdoorsy person! So i am happy to take the pets out to the trails or the lake! I live on 10 quiet acres with a fenced yard. There is ample space to play outside or be kept safe and warm inside. I am fortunate to work from home. I have the ability to provide care all day and night for your pet! I walk each morning and evening and have the option to take your pet out for a walk or a play on the property in both fenced and unfenced areas. I have an older dog who is very arthritic so I am used to caring for the elderly animals as well. Pets in my home have their own room if needed. I have plenty of space for crates. I have a large gated deck and live on 10 acres on a quiet road. My own pets walk daily with me along my road which works well for easy elder dog walks as it is shady even in the summer. It also can provide great training ground as there is little traffic. For the high energy babies, we can play fetch or take to the trails nearby. I have always had rescue pitties so I am comfortable with big cuddly babies. I adopted a cattle dog pup who had clinical anxiety which has taught me how to care for highly intelligent, high energy dogs as well. Treats, love, and confidence makes for a happy dog!
“We came to Nevada City for a wedding and needed to find daycare for our dog Buckeye. Aron had wonderful revues and lots of repeat customers, so we felt good about leaving Buck with him. It was a great experience and Aron was as wonderful as his revues. We especially enjoyed receiving photos of Buck enjoying himself in the wading pool while we were at the wedding. Buckeye had a great time with Aron and his other dog charges and was a happy and tired boy when we picked him up. We highly recommend Aron.”

About: Been a proud owner of goats, cats, chickens, reptiles and dogs. I've had experience in the veterinary field, worked with and cared for livestock and house pets. I am currently working full time as a CNA, my schedule is kinda wacky. I work PM shifts from 2:30pm-10:30pm, on a four on and two off rotation. In my own home I have reptiles and three cats and one older dog around. If your pet is staying with me or I’m keeping them company in your own home, I always am engaging with the pet. Any opportunity to play and have some fun, we’re doing it! If they’re more laid back and want to snooze next to me, I will relax with them.

My cats are indoor/outdoor and are trained to come in at night. They are literbox trained. My dogs stay in the house when we leave and get regular vet care. At your home: caution opening doors, assure leashes attached properly, and yard secure, administer meds according to vet orders. Feed per owner directions (you have them sing for dinner, I will too), refresh water, photograph/video each encounter to share with owner at visit, clean up pet messes, sit on floor and play, make sure home is securely locked when leaving
About: People often say I have a way with animals. They always seem drawn to me immediately, even when they are wary of others. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I have a big fenced yard with both grass and forest to run and play. I don’t have multiple dogs staying with me at one time ( unless discussed in advance) so your baby will get all the attention. Although I will never replace you, I can provide love and safety until you return (and probably some treats and adventures too!) I'm currently not working and can dedicate my time to pet/house sitting and care. As you can see from my photo gallery, I love all animals and have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand, fostered kittens at home, and have seen very cool animals in the wild and at animal rescues/sanctuaries around the world. (I always vet them to make sure they are ethical and doing legit work) I have a large fenced yard and indoor space for cats or dogs. We have plenty of shade and are also willing to take pets with us on outings. I live with my husband and son and they also love and respect animals. As far as caring for pets at someone else's home, I can stay at your house or check in as often as needed. I will play with them, feed them, bathe them, take them places (if requested) and give them love. I know they miss their people and its not the same without you, but I do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable.

He likes to be brushed and gets treats of course before the brushing 3/4 times a week! I think hygiene is very important when living with animals. We are still working on Phoenix's leash comfortability. But I am willing to fit walks with your dogs into my daily routine if you will have me! I have been missing walking, playing, training, and giving dogs treats ever since becoming a cat mom. I am a very organized and clean person. I vacuum twice a week or more with having a cat, and a rug that he loves to play on. I clean Phoenix's water and food bowls twice a week or more so as to not have any build-up or potential for mold/fungus/bugs. Cleaning his litter box every couple of days is a necessity for me as well as disinfecting the box every other week or more, depending on the week :).
About: My mom has had dogs my entire life always five or six at a time. I’ve always taken care of her animals, cats, dogs, and horses, when she goes out of town! I’m very responsible and assertive with a loving and gentle touch. I have my own dog. She’s a cutie!! I work for myself and run my own business. About: I’ve been taking care of animals for what feels like forever. As a kid I rescued a dog from outside and adopted a Siamese cat. Ever since then I have always had either my own pet to care for or helped somebody who did own them. I walked them as well as fed them, and have delivered the occasional pill or 2 when they had medications needed. From hamsters to hairless cats I’ve been relied upon for years. I work part time in Lincoln and my schedule is fairly flexible. I work a lot of nights and I’m off on Monday 90% of the time. I can make time after my shifts in the evening if I’m a day shift or in the morning/afternoon in my evening shifts. Most of the clients I have worked for have large backyards with tall fences. About: Offering a safe home away from home, compassionate care, and peace of mind for pet owners is something that all pet sitters should be offering. I go far beyond this standard providing both care and training. Since I was a child, dogs and cats have gravitated toward me and I've always enjoyed their companionship; you can almost always find me with at least one dogs around. It's never been an unruly mass of teeth and paws though; I've always taken the time to teach my furry friends to walk on leash, to have immediate recall, to be polite in kitchen, and to use their voices kindly. I do the same with every animal that I am given care of, gently coaching them to be civil, furry companions while showering them with love. I am currently working from home and set my own schedule. I have a set daily morning and evening walk which your pup(s) will join. During the day, you pup(s) will have company of two dogs, three cats and plenty of pets from me.
