“Allen is the first person I’ve ever used on Rover. I started with one daycare, then one overnight and then proceeded to a 2 week stay for my 12 yo dog. I was very nervous bc she had never stayed with anyone who wasn’t family. Every time I picked her up and then dropped her off, I very carefully observed her behavior. She always wagged her tail and jumped right into him for scratches and would expose her belly for rubs. That made me feel comfortable. My dog is a fiery girl and nips if she is bothered. I warned Allen of her finicky senior behavior and he said she was overall fine. I provided him a notebook full of information but the most important was her medicine and he and his wife handled it like I asked. I would definitely ask Allen and his family again if we need another dog sitter. He sent pictures daily and responded very quickly. Thank you Allen!”

For walks, I prioritize safety by using secure leashes and harnesses, paying close attention to the environment, and adjusting the walk based on the pet’s energy level, age, and weather conditions. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own and aim to make their time with me feel fun, comfortable, and full of care.

About: Many years of pet care experience from large to small animals. Exotic animals to cattle. No animals to big or to small for me to care for! I am currently going to school for my biology degree so it fits in well with my time. I do a lot of outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing during my free time. I do not currently offer in home services as I use my home to rescue animals, but the care I put into any animal/pet is always the same in side my house or outside. They all receive the same amount of dedication to feeding/cleaning/etc.
About: Although this would be my first time getting into professional pet sitting, i’ve dealt with all kinds of furry babies my whole life! Including caring for and raising many animals of my own, such as ponies, horses, emus and goats. To helping care for multiple litters of baby Bluetick Coonhounds! I’ve also taken care of many of my family friends and neighbors animals while away and I absolutely loved getting to know each and every munchkin and their different personalities! I’m currently working part time! I have a lot of free time at the moment and would love to spend it with some beautiful furry friends! “Allen is the first person I’ve ever used on Rover. I started with one daycare, then one overnight and then proceeded to a 2 week stay for my 12 yo dog. I was very nervous bc she had never stayed with anyone who wasn’t family. Every time I picked her up and then dropped her off, I very carefully observed her behavior. She always wagged her tail and jumped right into him for scratches and would expose her belly for rubs. That made me feel comfortable. My dog is a fiery girl and nips if she is bothered. I warned Allen of her finicky senior behavior and he said she was overall fine. I provided him a notebook full of information but the most important was her medicine and he and his wife handled it like I asked. I would definitely ask Allen and his family again if we need another dog sitter. He sent pictures daily and responded very quickly. Thank you Allen!”

About: I have had my dog, Jerry, for 15 yrs. I just love the genuine love that a pet gives with no strings attached. Looking fwd to meeting new friends. I am available on weekends for boarding since I have my full time job during the week. I do have a 6 year old and my dog, Jerry, at home as well. I have a spacious fenced backyard and my dog to keep your fur baby company as well. Dogs are welcomed inside the house as well.

“It's so hard to leave our pup for so many days (13). On our way to Brenda's we were feeling so guilty and sad despite knowing we were off to our dream trip to Hawaii. This was our second time using Brenda, so Max had been here before. As we got closer to her home, the dread was setting in fast and hard!! We pulled up feeling so guilty and depressed about having to leave him for so long and not being able to assure him we would be returning. When we arrived at Brenda and our dog realized where he was (it had been a year), He flew out of the car and ran to the front door wagging his tail, whimpering in happiness and sniffing at the door willing someone to open it. It was all we needed to realize that Brenda was the best. Our hearts quickly went from misery to joy. We originally chose Brenda because of all the repeat customers knowing pet owners are smart and care about their animals. Throughout our stay on Maui, Brenda kept us frequently updated with photos and reports and reassuring words. It really made all the difference. We were able to relax and enjoy our trip without feeling guilty or worried about our pup. When we picked up max, he was happy to see us but more so, didn't seem exhausted or stressed. In the past and with other sitters, he would sleep for a few days making us feel he was not fully rested and maybe felt stressed during his stay. With Brenda, he just comes home and acts like he would on any other day. In my mind, a good pet sitter does not just take care of the pet, but takes care of the family that is missing the pet as well. We can't thank Brenda and her family enough for putting our mind at ease and letting us enjoy our vacation.”
