About: Although I have never owned a dog myself, I have several years of experience caring for family dogs. My sister has had a dog since 2016, and my mom got a dog in 2023. I regularly help care for them when my family is out of town, including feeding them on schedule, providing fresh food and water, taking them on walks, and making sure they are safe and comfortable. While I do not have extensive pet-sitting experience, I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and caring for them with patience, love, and responsibility. About: I have cared for a wide variety of animals over the years. I spent several years volunteering at a veterinary clinic and later at a humane society, where I gained hands-on experience in animal care, handling, and support. I telework so I am at home most of the day. When I do leave, dogs hang out in the dog run where they have access to comfy beds, toys and access to an upstairs patio where they can keep an eye on all the goings-on. I have a fully fenced yard that provides a safe, secure space for dogs to run, play, or relax comfortably. I provide supervised playtime in the yard several times a day and at least one 20-30 minute walk around the neighborhood.

I'm comfortable around all animals, and I absolutely adore them all! I go to school full time, but I do not have classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. About: Currently being a stay at home mother, my hours are very flexible! Growing up with cats and dogs, my kiddos and I are currently lacking the fun presence of furry friends! Although my apartment is not the biggest, allowing only one dog at a time allows all of my attention to be focused. I currently work as a part-time illustrator and personal chef, but have most of my day open to devoting to your pets. I'm able to stay with and care for animals (both short and extended term), and am also available for drop-ins, walks, and hikes. I've cared for many pets and homes (both long and short term) for over a decade. I love taking dogs out to the trail, the beach, and the park, and also have experience with various walking, medication, and care routines.
About: I bond quickly with animals and I make sure to properly introduce myself so they don’t feel intimidated in their own home. To them I want to be a friend rather than someone who is just there I live across from a park where walking/playing with your dogs is fun and easy! I like to go outside for at least 30 minutes a day to get some fresh air and exercise. I am up early, making it easy to get dogs their first bathroom break in the morning. I have a short commute, so that means less time they have to be alone! I will stick to any schedules that they may have that way they feel a little bit more comfortable without their parents around. If anyone is feeling extra shy, I’ll slowly introduce myself until they are comfortable.

About: I’ve been taking care of my sister 4 dogs, 15 cats, 1 & bunny. About: I have cared for a wide variety of animals over the years. I spent several years volunteering at a veterinary clinic and later at a humane society, where I gained hands-on experience in animal care, handling, and support. I telework so I am at home most of the day. When I do leave, dogs hang out in the dog run where they have access to comfy beds, toys and access to an upstairs patio where they can keep an eye on all the goings-on. I have a fully fenced yard that provides a safe, secure space for dogs to run, play, or relax comfortably. I provide supervised playtime in the yard several times a day and at least one 20-30 minute walk around the neighborhood.

About: I’ve cared for dogs in a wide range of situations, including senior dogs, special-needs pups, and dogs recovering from injuries. Most dogs love nature, and it's exciting to see them perk up on walks at the sound of chirping birds, rustling brush, or a skittering lizard. There are great dog-friendly nature paths in Novato and San Rafael that give the pups both sniffing and social opportunities, so they come home tired and content. What I’m especially good at is communication. I pay close attention to a dog’s eyes, ears, posture, and energy, because they tell you so much before they ever make a sound. I use a gentle “dog voice” (yes, the sweet baby-talk voice) and clear, steady cues, because many dogs respond quickly to warmth, tone, and consistency. Even anxious or shy dogs usually soften when they realize they’re being understood. I’ve also cared for large dogs, and my Labrador retriever loves having big buddies to play with. No matter the size, age, or temperament, I’m respectful of each dog’s individual needs, and I make sure they feel safe, seen, and truly cared for with plenty of affection, attention, patience, and exercise. I currently work from home, and I have a (mostly) flexible schedule. I like to get out with my dog two times a day for 2+ mile walks on local trails and parks. I respect people's spaces, and I am good at following detailed instructions for homes and their pets. I have references and happy clients to tell you about it!
