“We boarded our two young dogs with Kara so that our family could travel on Christmas, and Kara was wonderful with them! She graciously welcome them into her home on a holiday and took excellent care of them. We got daily check-ins and videos, and she was really intuitive about their needs. There were two larger dogs being boarded at the same time, and since ours haven’t been around many other dogs yet, she was careful to keep them separated to make it less stressful for all of them. We felt so confident and pleased with leaving our dogs with Kara, we will definitely be rebooking with her again!”

About: I love animals!! I am experienced in administering medication if needed. A nice walk or play time at the park is always fun, I might even enjoy it more than them. Some fur babies experience separation anxiety when they are without their humans. I try to connect with them and build trust so that the temporary absence of their human won't be so stressful on them. I would not want your baby to feel uncomfortable in their own home so building trust is very important. I would like to note that I am open to care for almost any type of animal. I have had fish, rats, hamsters, birds, snakes, dogs, cats, bunnies, you name it. If I do not feel comfortable in the quality of care I am able to provide your pet based on specific needs (like exotic animals) I will communicate that to you and I will also do my homework. Knowledge is free! I am more than willing to learn I am currently an active foster for a non profit rescue in Oregon as well as a local non profit rescue. The most fosters I have had at once is 8, both big and small breeds. If you'd like to reach out to either of the rescues I am more than happy to provide their info to you I have 4 guinea pigs, 2 hairless guinea pigs (which require a little extra care) and 3 dogs. My mornings before work consist of feeding them. I start with the dogs,then the guinea pigs. I spot clean the guinea pig living areas (they live like they are royal), give them their daily vitamin C and urinary support tablets. After that I give the dogs their allergy chews (they have very sensitive skin). While at work I occasionally check my in home camera to make sure they are all okay. When I come home I repeat the routine with the guinea pigs except this time I do a full cage clean and give them their daily serving of veggies. It is rare, but sometimes I might forget to do one of the things during my morning routine so I will return home on my lunch to make sure it gets done, especially if it can't wait. I am very dedicated, they are my children. I will treat your babies as my own🧡 When caring for your pet in your home I like to go over any special tasks that are required, like feeding times, medications, diet, emotional triggers if any, allergies, etc. The more I know about your pet the better care I will be able to provide. I also like to become familiar with where their things are stored so that I can easily access it at any given time. If I am not able to locate something I will always contact you and ask for more details or permission to look in a different area if needed. While caring for my cousins pets I made sure we are stocked on anything I might need for them during my stay and always make sure to familiarize myself with where things are. I take them outside to potty every hour and a half or so depending on their food and water consumption. I can take them out more frequently if needed. I always make sure to put things back where I got them. If I bring my own treats I will make sure to present them to you and go over ingredients before giving them any in case of any allergy they may have.
About: I have a strong experience of pet care with 5+ of house-sitting as well as hosting pets. I provide the best pet care experience though my years of work with pets I'm currently off of school for the summer and my availability is open most days. About: After the passing of my childhood dog two years ago, caring for other people's pets has been a therapeutic and positive experience for me ever since. I have experience taking care of old/sick dogs and cats plus dogs with anxiety as well, and have no problem at all cleaning up their messes, bathing them, or monitoring their health for you. 🐕 I am also a hobbyist dog trainer, I know how to teach your dog plenty of tricks using treats for motivation, and I dabble in some obedience training as well. 🐾 I'm also able to keep up with strict feeding and walking schedules! 🐶 I am unemployed for the summer, so I have a completely open schedule aside from every Thursday from 3pm-6pm, as I have therapy appointments on those days. ❤️ Your pet won't be alone for a second in my care! I will feed and walk them as frequently as necessary according to any schedule you may have, and I'll have a blast playing with them and giving them plenty of affection so they don't feel alone in your absence. ❤️ Let me know if your dog is in need of any training, whether it be fun tricks or obedience, and I can try to work on that with them while you're busy! I can bring some treats with me, but please let me know if you have your own treats you would like me to use, or if your dog has any allergies! I typically only give dogs very very small pieces of treats so as not to upset their stomach or overfeed them during training sessions. 🐾

“This was my first time ever needing a dog sitter who wasn't a family member or friend and having my current 6 month old timid velcro puppy means that I had to be extra wary of where I leave her. When Anya and I met Audra during the meet and greet we were able to chat for a while and I felt totally comfortable explaining my own concerns and Anyas needs of patience and time. Audra was able to address them all and the answers she gave made me feel she would be a great fit. Dropping off my puppy was hard but it was easier knowing that someone who seems to really love dogs and was capable of accomodating a more timid dog had her. I was able to get updates throughout her daycare stay and when I picked her up she seemed perfectly fine and elated to see me. Driving home she was plum tuckered out and napped but when she got back home Anya was back to her regularly scheduled trouble. I gave her a look over and saw no issues and behavioral wise Anya acts as if she had never been gone at all. Afterwards I asked Audra some questions about Anya and how she did to follow up with her dog training and received prompt responses that will help me make sure that this timid pup continues to thrive and grow in confidence. If I have to find someone to watch her again or need an overnight boarding I will definitely see if Audra is available first.”
“I had Bunty (my medium retriever mix dog) stay with Cindy for Day Care in Jan 2023. First, we did a meet and greet with Cindy to make sure it is comfortable for both Cindy and Bunty. Please do note that Cindy has two other smaller dogs as well as bird pets. In addition, she lives with small children. So please ensure that your dog will be comfortable in such a setting. Cindy's home has all the essentials. She has a big backyard with plenty of room for zoomies. She's got house full of people to give lots of love and attention. In addition, she lives just a block away from a park. Bunty stayed with Cindy for about 8 hours. Cindy is an excellent communicator, periodically sending pictures and videos to alleviate any stressed dog parent. She takes excellent care, did lunch, water breaks, two walks, and pee breaks. When we came back home, Bunty was exhausted which is the true sign of a fun dog day! I would definitely recommend anyone to keep their dog with Cindy. I know I'll be back with her soon.”

About: Animals and pet care have been a central part of my life since I was a child. I grew up surrounded by dogs, taking care of not only my pets, but the pets of my neighbors as well (both dog walking and house sitting). About: My #1 goal is to ensure you and your fur baby the security and safety the need while spending their time with my own fur family! I have 2 beautiful dogs of my own, both are rescues, also three indoor (dog friendly) adult cats. They are friendly and spoiled with lots of love, attention and walks daily. I have fostered and worked with local and bay area rescues for about 5 years off and on. Your pets will be treated as one of my own, always! I have one large kennel if needed but I'd prefer the animals to have free roam of the house and yard. They will be taken out 3+ times a day and cuddled for overnight stays. At this moment, I am home full time. All pets are let outside in the morning to do their morning business, then fed and taken for an early walk. Throughout the day I am home with them 24/7. About: My family has had multiple dogs at all times throughout my life. I never had to beg my parents to get me a puppy because we already had two! We used to live out in the country, so my daily chores involved cleaning up after the dogs, feeding them, walking them, and bathing them. When I got home from school? I was outside playing with the dogs, going swimming with them, running them around until they slept through the whole night. My experience with dogs is primarily with medium to large breeds. I especially excel with the bigger, stockier breeds. I have two pit bulls and one German shepherd currently (which is why I can't board). I love playing with big dogs (or any dog)!
