“This was our first time using Rover for our German Shepard, Axel and Buddy’s Retreat could not have made the experience more perfect! Christine was warm, thorough, and welcoming at our meet and greet. Easing any of our concerns and giving us a run through of a typical day. Drop off was quick and easy- Axel immediately felt at home! The updates were frequent with lots of happy puppy pictures from playing with the other dogs, numerous games of ball and snuggling in his bed. Our pup can even be a finicky eater and they were kind to try different treats to entice him to eat. Upon pickup Axel was the most calm I’ve ever see him after a time away from us. All this to say- Axel would be thrilled to go back! We highly recommend Buddy’s Retreat.”

About: I’ve had cats since I was a baby. They’re my favorite animals. :) I grew up with 3 cats in one home and 7 in another so I learned from an early age how to care for kitties. I’ve nursed kittens from bottles, taken care of adult cats, and have given medication to senior cats. My current 19-year old Maine Coon kitty has diabetes, so I give him insulin twice a day. I can give your kitties shots if needed as well as any food-based medications, creams, etc. I’m a bit of cat whisperer, too, so I love getting to care for kitties of all types!

About: Many years ago the ‘Dog Whisperer’ came into my life through personal training. Cesar Milan taught me how to successfully train my aggressive dog with a few behavioral changes and lots of exercise. I was blessed to take my dog to Cesar’s Dog Psychology Center (DPC) more than once. I learned so much working with Cesar and spending time with his dogs. Now I apply those same techniques to all the Rover dogs. The importance of disciplinary exercise has changed many of my clients’ dogs through multiple daily walks. Your dog will receive the same training Cesar provides while staying in my doggy day care and on our walks. He always said “a tired dog can’t misbehave” and it’s very true! I’ve been personally training celebrities like Cesar and his wife for 15+ years. My schedule is very flexible while accommodating clients 2-3 days a week. I am a professional bodybuilder so fitness is my lifestyle. I love walking, riding my bike and going to the gym. Exercise is more important to your dog than it is to us! I’m happy to share my passion of fitness with your dog. Pets are a gift and having them in your life is a true blessing. It’s your responsibility to provide the best care possible. They should never be seen as a burden or taken for granted! I used to walk my 2 dogs everyday before they passed twice a day, for at least a half hour. It was truly the highlight of my day. About: I have a 9 year old lab mix at home in Seattle I’ve raised since she was a puppy. Over this past summer I volunteered at my local shelter every week helping out the shelter dogs and cats. I am currently available for boarding all days of the week as I am home full time. I am not employed at the moment and my boyfriend Hans works from home so we’ll always be home for your fur baby. That means we are able to provide constant care (3-4hrs away from the pet at most). We have a gated driveway and our yard is completely fenced. It’s a half acre fenced on a 2.5 acre lot. Tons of space for the dog to roam! We don’t have any pets right now.

I will take dogs on a long or short walk, whatever they're used to and can handle. i can also hike with dogs if that's what they like to do. For cats, I play with them with their toys or cuddle with them if they're not into playing.

My last rottie had leukemia and I cared for her throughout chemotherapy so have experience with many related health challenges. Usually, we take the pets out for potty breaks 4 times a day—first one in the morning, second one around noon, third one in the afternoon, and last one at night, right before bed. We also use the small patio area for potties if they need to potty more frequently. I take them on walks in the afternoon! For cats, I clean the litter box as soon as I see that they used it. I also have plenty of toys, treats, and cardboard scratchers! My parents and I will be available to take care of your pets full-time! My family (5) is also available to take care of the pets most of the time! If you do not want your pet/pets to interact with other pets, I can separate them upstairs and downstairs. At least one person will be available upstairs and downstairs so the pets are not left alone! Our condominium complex has two doors/gates (front and back) . I look forward to sitting your pets!

This was our first time leaving our puppy Pepe (he's just about 6 months) and our first time using Rover. I combed through many different sitters and hundreds of reviews and found Nicole & Michael - boy am I glad I did. I was worried because Pepe still has puppy energy but Nicole made me feel comfortable he was in great hands - and he was. After we dropped him off and met Nicole, every worry I ever had completely vanished. We picked him up and he couldn't have looked happier and healthier. Thank you Nicole and Michael! “Alina was an incredible sitter for my dog moose! he stayed with her over the july 4th holiday- moose is a rescue with some special needs, including fear of fireworks and other dogs. Alina treated moose with care and compassion, and she gave me honest updates if moose was struggling (without me needing to ask). it is such a relief to have found someone who seriously cares about moose and will go the extra mile to make sure he is cared for and that I know how he is doing!! I will definitely be hiring Alina again, and would recommend her to any dog owner, especially those who might need a little extra support.”
