“The way our dog cannot wait to get out of the car once we pull up to Selien’s home tells me everything about how much he loves spending time with her. Cannot recommend her highly enough”

“I was super hesitant leaving anyone with my fur baby, but Steven made this process so easy. He constantly sent updates and pics and in all the pics my Mac looked so happy. I will definitely be booking with Steven again if needed. Highly recommend.”

“Stella (Laura) and Chad are the absolute BEST!! They watched our 8 year old French bulldog for a long weekend and from the minute I dropped her off she loved them both and seemed right at home which made me feel so comfortable. They took such good care of our dog, taking her on at least 3 walks a day, tons of pets and cuddles. They sent me tons of updates and photos all day which I absolutely love and I could tell our dog was right at home and so happy while we were gone. I am already booking Stella and Chad for another upcoming sit. Highly recommend them!!”

“Angelica was great. I’m so glad I found a sitter I can trust. She is kind and sweet. She loves dogs .and I can tell my dog loves her too . I’m definitely bringing my dog back to Angelica the next time I go outta town.”

“Julianne was great with our Lola! She sent us pictures and took our girl for a walk every day. Her house was spacious with great outdoor space perfect for our large hound dog. We would definitely use Julianne again!”
“Magdalena took care of my dog Marty overnight. She sent many updates with photos/videos. Marty had a very eventful and active stay. He was very happy and Magdalena took great care of him. She also agreed very last minute when I had to leave town, which was hugely appreciated. I would absolutely use her services again.”

“We booked Hilary last minute because our usual sitter became unavailable. We had a trip to Italy planned, and I was so stressed to leave Pebbles somewhere new while being out of the country, but HILARY WAS AMAZING!! We fell in love with the way she cared for Pebbles instantly. She had no problem with her feeding times, walks, crate needs, and even eye medication. She sent us SO MANY fun and cute pictures of Pebbles while we were out of the country that I felt super reassured. She was flexible with the pick up time (we know how LAX can be), and even willing to take an additional emergency contact while we were out of country. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for anyone kinder, more loving, or more communicative. I will definitely request her again, and I am so glad Pebbles found a temporary home there. Thank you for everything!”

“Marlayna and Gina took good care of my sweet pup!! He was there for 8 nights while I worked in LA. They sent over photos throughout the day and even sent his favorite toy (of the stay) home with him. I would definitely reach out again when I’m in the area.”

“We were visiting LA and had to board our dog for a couple of days. Joyce and her roommate took good care of Chelsea. Sent photos and updates through the day. Chelsea came back extremely happy. I would recommend Joyce for boarding services”

“Janice is amazing! My little frenchie loves her! Left my dog with her twice and on the second time my baby was running to her door that’s how excited she was to comeback to Janice. Also, she takes great pictures and always messages to let me know how my dog is doing. I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to her for taking care of my baby so well.”

“Irina is awesome! She boarded my 2 cats for 3 nights and they were in such excellent hands. Irina was great at asking for how to make them feel the most comfortable away from home and provided regular updates and pics on how they were doing. I will be booking with her again for kitty care!”

“My dog is my world so it can be hard to leave him with a sitter when I travel. But Sabrina and her husband made it so much easier bc I know my dog is in such great hands. I slept easy knowing that he wasn’t only safe but he was having fun in a house full of love and walks!”

“Margaret kindly took care of my two 11-yr-old dogs while we were away on a long vacation. And they had a great time! Margaret is a true dog lover and was great about getting them out for daily walks and sending us regular photos and updates! I didn’t worry a moment about my girls, knowing they were in Margaret’s good hands. Very fun place to board a social dog, since there will often be other dogs around too.”

“When our dog is under Paul's care, she gets to have positive exposure to new people and dogs. It's a big deal for our family considering she's a pitbull mix coming from a shelter... Thankful to see our dog being welcomed and loved by Paul and his friends!”

“We really appreciated Lisa (and her family’s) care for our dog Kunga! She was flexible with pick-up and drop-off times and sent updates. Kunga loved her time there. Would totally leave Kunga with Lisa again.”

“Stephanie took excellent care of Hank and Penny. She is a great communicator and sent regular updates. I will not hesitate to book her again and recommend that you do as well.”

“I needed to board my German Shepherd mix Layla for the first time, and we were both very lucky to find Rubin! He always responded right away, which made me feel comfortable, and I could tell from the photos that Layla was having a great time at Rubin's place. I'd definitely recommend Rubin to anyone looking for a responsible, caring person to board their pet - I will certainly reach out to him again if Layla needs to go on another vacation!”

“Albina took great care of my boy. She made sure he went on multiple walks a day and sent me updates. He came home very happy. Will definitely take Kobe to her again😊”

“David was super accommodating for my pet Joji! He sent many updates and photos, even when I was out busy so I appreciate his communication and care for my pet. Super responsive and reliable. Will definitely reach out again for future dog sitting.”

“Qiwen was an amazing dog sitter! She was incredibly attentive and kept me updated throughout the stay with regular photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear she genuinely cared and paid close attention to every detail. I could tell he was happy, comfortable, and very well cared for the entire time. I would absolutely trust Qiwen again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and communicative dog sitter.”

About: I'm fortunate to have cared for animals since childhood and find true joy in treating others pets as my own. Family, friends and neighbors have relied on my consistency, responsibility and compassion when they need someone to look after their babies. I am very comfortable with multiple animals, senior care and challenging personalities. I am able to remain calm in chaos and understand the importance of communication. My three-year old German Shepherd mix, Pharaoh, keeps me on my toes and engaged with the latest in pet parent world! Currently in between jobs which allows me to be flexible depending on the needs of the client and their pets. While I do have my own boy dog, Pharaoh, our routine can be adjusted without issue. I will follow the exact instructions needed and am very communicative in terms of sending photos, videos and ensuring there are no disruptions to a pets routine. I have a deep understanding of how important consistency is to building trust with an animal and will do everything required to make sure both the client and their baby feel safe and at peace.

About: As an experienced veterinary technician and lifelong cat owner, I’m comfortable caring for cats of all ages and temperaments. I have experience administering medications, recognizing signs of illness, caring for senior and special-needs cats, and making even shy or anxious cats feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

“Sydney took great care of my critters! She was flexible with my plans changing last minute, and she came through with flying colors. She sent me lovely photos and updates, and I came home to two very happy cats. All in all, quite wonderful!”

“Sahirah did a great job looking over our two cats, providing updates on their food and lots of pictures. They were super chill when we got back from our trip too, not stressed at all!”

“Another great visit with Lani! This time we were away for just over two weeks. We really appreciated the daily updates about our cat, especially the sweet photos that showed how comfortable she is with Lani!”

“Emily was so easy to work with - we had a prep visit and she offered to track all the instructions herself, which I really appreciated. Then when we were gone, our power went out and she was so sweet & willing to find our breaker box to reset it. Our cats loved her, she sent so many fun pictures that made us feel like our babies were happy & safe. Highly recommend - goes above & beyond!”

“Very kind and professional. My cats really seemed to like her, which is a big plus! And she's insured! That was a huge bonus that wasn't even advertised. Hope to do business with her again.”

About: Puppy, rescue, senior, and end-of-life. I've been there for dogs at every stage of life, and I'll bring that same care and attention to yours. I adopted my dog Winston at 12 weeks old. My other dog Kevin was a high-energy shelter rescue at 11 months with no house training. And my late dog George, who came into my life through my wife, was with me through a serious illness, including daily medications, until he passed. That experience taught me patience, consistency, and how to genuinely read what a dog needs. I also rescued my cat from the streets and have cared for him for 17 years, so cat owners can feel just as confident leaving their pets in my hands. Whether your pet is a wild puppy, a relaxed senior, or somewhere in between, they're in experienced and loving hands. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate drop-in visits, walks, and pet sitting on most days, including weekday mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. For in-home pet sitting, I'm happy to work around your travel plans with a little advance notice. While I don't offer in-home boarding or daycare at my place, I treat every client's home with the same care and respect I'd want shown in my own. I'm friendly and professional in how I communicate and how I carry myself around your pets and neighbors. During every visit I'll follow any instructions you may have, whether that's feeding routines, leash preferences, off-limit areas, or anything else that matters to you. After each visit you'll get a confirmation that everything was completed, along with photos and any notes worth sharing, so you're never left wondering how things went.

“This was my first time using Rover and getting a cat sitter. Katherine was so great through this process. She definitely cared for my babies as if they were her own. I would love to book her again!”

About: Whether it's just lounging on the couch or going for a fun walk, your dog will have my full attention. Their comfort is my number one priority. I have doggy stairs and extra beds all around the house. I work remotely so my schedule is flexible enough that I can take them for walks whenever needed. I also have a front and backyard where the doggies can sniff around or lay in the sun. :) I work from home so I can take the doggies out whenever they want and feed them whenever I’m instructed to. Very flexible schedule here. I have fenced yard and my 2 doggies are very friendly with other dogs. My dogs have doggy stairs and beds all over the house.

“MT is amazing!! I felt so comforted knowing they were taking care of my cat while I was away. My cat is a little shy, but warmed right up to MT. They are thoughtful, conscientious, and a great communicator. They’re also a great photographer and sent the sweetest pictures throughout my trip. I cannot recommend them enough!!”

“Ruby did a great job house sitting for my cat Winston. She was communicative and sent me great photos. I could tell that Winston had a good time because he was cuddling up next to her in the photos. I would hire her again.”

About: I have cared for cats of all personalities - from social and affectionate to shy and independent - and I understand that every cat is different. I know how to give space to cats that need it while still making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and looked after. I am experienced in administering medications, following specific feeding schedules, and maintaining a clean litter box because I know a clean environment is just as important as food and companionship. What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and the fact that I am home all day as a freelancer. Cats are sensitive to their environment and do best with someone who is present, quiet, and consistent - and that is exactly what I offer. I also keep owners updated with regular photos and messages so you always know your cat is happy and well cared for, even when you are far from home.
“Peggy is a dream! She has such a way with animals, and my cats just ADORE HER. She sends lots of photos, takes wonderful care of the house and is generally just the GREATEST CAT SITTER ON EARTH.”

“I have a diabetic cat that requires daily insulin shots. It's always been challenging to find him a reliable caregiver when I'm out of town, and I'm so happy I found Kacy for the Christmas break! Kacy took care of my cat, Stewart, and did a fantastic job. She is friendly, communicative, and pays great attention to details. She sent daily updates and pictures of Stewart during her drop-in visits. Most importantly, as a diabetic cat owner herself, Kacy is very knowledgeable about feline diabetes. It's quite a relief to know Stewart is in good hands while I'm away. I would highly recommend Kacy and will for sure ask Kacy to cat-sit Stewart again!”

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs and have a strong understanding of animal body language and positive reinforcement (R+) training. I have experience dogsitting, walking and caring for dogs with a range of energy levels and temperaments. At home, I live with a nervous, high-energy 5-year-old dog, so I’m especially comfortable supporting pets who need structure, calm handling, and a bit of extra understanding. I also spent nearly a decade volunteering with a cat rescue, working with personalities ranging from rambunctious lovers to feral scaredies, but my favorites were always the shy kitties that needed a little bit of extra attention to feel safe. Pet care with me is an inclusive and personalized experience. I want to make sure that your animal receives the exercise and enrichment they need, but that they are also safe at home. This may include checking and refilling water, turning AC on or off at your discretion, feeding, light grooming, or the administration of medication. I am happy to clean up accidents, take out trash, and collect mail while you're out of town. I am also happy to walk at your dog's pace, whether that's a slow sniff walk or an excited stroll, and I can even incorporate training and treats into a walk if you desire. I like to spend some time bonding with both cats and dogs, whether that includes cuddles or play. I trust that you'll book enough time to meet your pet's individual needs. Note, for everyone's safety I will not approach an animal that is wary or aggressive so if your animal is afraid of strangers, please consider booking extra sessions so that your pet can acclimate to my presence (I am also always ready to do a complimentary meet-and-greet for new clients). I am trained in both the dog and cat fear signals, and usually pickup on subtler signs of stress. I will also use my discretion regarding weather conditions - if it's too hot, rainy, or smoky to safely walk your animal I'd be happy to provide them with play and potty breaks closer to home. In addition to Rover's guarantee I am insured and pet CPR certified. I am available most weekdays for drop-in visits and dog walks, and I’m flexible with timing so I can best support your pet’s usual routine and needs. I have a fenced yard and a friendly 5-year-old 40-lb dog that loves to play. At your house, I am willing to work with whatever your needs are. I know every animal is different. Let me know how your pet likes to be approached, what kind of training commands they're familiar with any special care needs needs, such as medication. I prefer to do meet-and-greets with new clients, especially with shy or temperamental animals.

About: Experienced and trusted, family/friend animal caretaker. I grew up with various animals and have a preference for the furry critters. Comfortable with animals of various shapes, sizes, and personalities. I work in education therefore I can create and implement structure for your pet. I can be stern and dependable while being loving and kind for all pets needing care. I have flexible, open availability till mid-August. I can be a consistent drop-in visitor, walker, or sitter. Availability will shift in August when I work in person at schools. To create safety, trust, and a conducive environment for your pet I will: communicate on a timely basis, follow provided instructions, and adapt to your pets needs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages before, from terriers to Scotch collies. These dogs have ranged in age as well, with some being as young as 1-3 and the oldest being 15. I make sure to communicate frequently to ensure pets receive thoughtful and fun care that is also respectful of their boundaries. I’m a teacher and currently on summer break, so my time for pet care is pretty open and prioritized right now! Rover is my primary focus at the moment, so let’s chat about some care for your pet! Whenever in a new environment, I make sure to inspect all possible exits or potential areas for danger or risk for pets. Additionally, respecting your home and your boundaries is a top priority of mine! I don’t use things unless I’ve asked about them and will communicate if a situation ever arises. I don’t have boarding as an option at the moment, but if that ever changes, pet safety and comfort is always a priority!
About: Hi there! I’ve been caring for small to medium-sized dogs for over 15 years — from playful pups to sweet seniors up to 14 years old. I’ve handled all kinds of care, including giving meds and helping dogs with special needs (my own one-eyed senior dog taught me so much about patience and unconditional love!). I treat every dog like part of my family, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether it’s playtime, belly rubs, walks, or cozy cuddles, your pup will always have fun and get plenty of attention. You can count on me to care for your dog as if they were my own — with kindness, reliability, and lots of tail wags! Pet care is a big part of my everyday life! I love spending time with dogs — going on walks, playtime, feeding, and just giving them attention and affection. I plan my days around the pets I’m caring for, making sure they get consistent routines, exercise, and love. Whether it’s early morning walks or evening cuddle time, I truly enjoy every moment. Taking care of dogs isn’t just something I do — it’s something I love, and it naturally fits into my daily routine. When I care for pets, I always focus on making them feel comfortable, safe, and loved — just like they would at home with their family. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any medications or special needs they may have. I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality — whether they love playtime, belly rubs, or just quiet company — and make sure they get plenty of attention and affection. In my home, pets have a cozy, clean space to relax and play, and in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect and care I’d want for my own. My goal is always to make every pet feel happy, secure, and cared for while their family is away.
“Thank you Sahirah for being Belle and Pax's new bestie. They always look forward to seeing Sahirah. Typically my corgi puppy barks at everyone. However, when she sees her favorite sitter she runs up to her with so much excitement and both of my dogs absolutely adores her. Sahirah is the only person that cares of all our pets and we trust no one else because she's the absolute best.”

“My fear reactive senior chi-terrier mix met Lori (out of the house) and was like, oh hi, like they'd known each other for years. And when we returned to the house my year old maltipoo who usually barks at everyone was also like, oh hi. Will this always be the case everytime with every dog or even everytime with my dogs - I cannot guarantee that - but I attributed this first calm meet and great behavior to Lori's kind, calm, dog-lover vibe. :)”

“We needed a last minute walker for our 9 month old pup and Polli made it happen! She sent me updates with photos and the route they took on the hike. Our pup was nice and tired after. Thanks!!”

“Mike is incredibly professional, friendly, and took such great care of our dog. He was focused on making sure he did everything according to our dog’s regular schedule, and he was very skilled at managing our dog (who can be a handful). I will definitely book Mike again and I recommend him as your next dog walker/sitter.”

We welcome a small, dog-friendly pup to come hang out with us. My dog is super spoiled, so I've ensured that my place is safe, comfortable, and full of doggie amenities that your dog is free to enjoy as well.

“Catherine was great to work with a we won’t hesitate to book with her in the future. She was kind, communicative, and accommodating. She allowed us to do a trial day/night before our long booking of ~9 days to be sure our pups and her home were a good fit. I felt so comfortable and relaxed on vacay because I fully trusted Catherine with my dog. She sent frequent updates and photos but never too much that it was overwhelming. I think we finally found a reliable sitter!”
