“Alina was so wonderful. Our regular dogsitter had to cancel on us last minute. Alina came to the rescue and watched our dog for a 4 night stay. We were nervous to leave our senior dog (who has some special needs) with a brand new person. Usually we book an initial one-night stay with a sitter before doing anything more than 24 hours. It turns out we had nothing to be worried about. Alina checked in with us regularly and had very accurate descriptions of how our dog Bedu was settling in. By the end of her stay Bedu was in love. We brought home a very happy pup who was so well looked after, I can happily say she also had a little vacation herself. Alina’s residence is right next door to Petco, which was very convenient for us as we had forgotten to pack some supplies and stopped there on the way.”

About: I’ve always loved animals and grew up with dogs! I have experience caring for dogs with a variety of personalities, ages, and needs. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual routine, whether that means keeping up with an energetic pup, providing extra patience and care for senior dogs, or giving a nervous dog time to feel comfortable in a new environment. I’m also comfortable with administering medications when needed and making sure every pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and, most importantly, lots of love! I work from home three days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to care for dogs throughout the day. I have to take my dogs on a morning walk, I take them out before work, and when I come home from work. About: Since 2009, I have had dogs... I absolutely love them (and really all animals)! I cared for my two dogs until their passing at approximately 9 years of age since they were puppies. While in graduate school, I volunteered at the Oakland Animal Shelter for a few months taking care of pigeons, such as feeding them and cleaning their cages. So, if you have some unusual animals- I am open to taking care of them too! I also had a 2 week experience cat sitting for my cousin's senior cat by feeding/giving her water and general watching her. As with any senior (including humans), they come with special needs, such as different medications, loss of hearing, limited walking, increase in illnesses, etc. My dog has had many complications, but with my great patience with senior pups, I feel confident in taking care of their specific needs! I know what it is like to trust strangers with taking care of your pet- its scary! Mr. Beau has specific senior needs and is picking, so I hope my experience can make you feel more comfortable with choosing me to take care of your pet when you're away! My dogs typically get walked 3 times daily and eat morning and night. I will, of course, walk and feed your pets per their usual schedule. If your dog is crated at night or when left at home alone, their crate must be provided.
About: I had dogs all my life. I will love and treat your dogs with respect. I have 3 dogs myself and treat them like their my babies. Whatever you need I will be there for you and your pet. If you need to go out of town and you need someone to stay with your dog I can stay with your dog. Or if you need me to come few times a day to take your dog for a walk I can do that as well. If you need me to come and feed your dog due to your are out of town I will do that as well and play with her or him. I will walk your dog for 30 minutes each walk I know how to give meds to your dog and if you are too busy I will pick up and drop off your pet.

“Alina was so wonderful. Our regular dogsitter had to cancel on us last minute. Alina came to the rescue and watched our dog for a 4 night stay. We were nervous to leave our senior dog (who has some special needs) with a brand new person. Usually we book an initial one-night stay with a sitter before doing anything more than 24 hours. It turns out we had nothing to be worried about. Alina checked in with us regularly and had very accurate descriptions of how our dog Bedu was settling in. By the end of her stay Bedu was in love. We brought home a very happy pup who was so well looked after, I can happily say she also had a little vacation herself. Alina’s residence is right next door to Petco, which was very convenient for us as we had forgotten to pack some supplies and stopped there on the way.”

About: Enthusiast of animals and have worked alongside them for years in volunteering and fostering. I even have my own pets so I understand the importance of training puppies and kittens and understand how important our babies can be to us. I work alongside the schedule that you guys give me! I find it easy to put time in my day to take care of your babies. My dog is young and has a bunch of energy, where else my cats are the opposite. So I understand being able to give them a health balance of time outside and time playing as well as nap time and time where they can chose to rest.

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover who's had cats/dogs my entire life and currently I have one cat and a friendly 5-year-old, 60 lb hound mix. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and especially enjoy long walks and hiking with energetic pups. Whether your pet loves adventure or prefers cuddles on the couch, they'll get plenty of attention and care. Because I have pets of my own, I ask that visiting fur babies are friendly and comfortable around other animals. I generally work from home and if I have to go out for the day, my husband is at home as well. So there's always someone around for company. Because we have a pup, there's also always a friend around to play with. We already take him on 2 45min walks or a long hike in Griffith every day, so if you have a pup that needs a lot of exercise that's ok with us! We live in a 4plex and have a back area that has places for the pups to potty. It has a gate we close when letting the animals out. We have an extra crate, or happy to use whatever you provide. We are also ok with animals sleeping on the couch.
