When I checked around too many places offered to keep her in a crate but she has never been crated before so we did not want that. With this family she had the run of the house and yard and slept on their bed at night which she does at home. My only fear was that at the end of her stay she would not want to leave. But she was glad to come home and during my trip I had peace of mind and no worries that she was in good hands. Highly recommend this family to take care of your dog. I will when I travel again!”

About: I’ve had several dogs throughout my life and will probably be getting another one or two within the next year. My main option on here is dog boarding but, depending on the dog boarding schedule, I or somebody else on my team could also be open to do drop ins, house sitting, or walks, especially for those who have already used our boarding services. Please ask about these additional services after a confirmed boarding session. I’m in the middle of taking a few years off from teaching high school because A) Who couldn’t use a break from that? and B) I am focusing on building up a short-term rental business (Airbnb mostly). As an Airbnb host I spend a lot of time at home and have found that one of my favorite things to do is play with dogs in the yard (especially, when there’s more than one of them here at the same time!) and take them on trips to the park. I love dogs and am very reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. I live in a house with a fenced yard and all of the instructions you leave will be followed to keep your little buddy happy & safe! I am home most of the day and when I do leave it's usually only for an hour or two at a time. Most of what I do at home (working on a computer, household chores, yard work) I do in the presence of whatever dogs happen to be staying at that time. One limitation that I do try to stick to is to avoid scheduling drop-offs or pickups on Sundays before 10:00 am. Unfortunately, Rover doesn't give me the option to block off those times without blocking out the entire day so adding this note here is the only way to give you a heads up (hopefully, you read this before booking). I have a fenced yard and usually board 2 or 3 dogs at a time so that they have playmates. If ever I leave the house, dogs are left inside. Dogs that stay here must be up to date on shots as well as on a flea-prevention medication.

I’m currently working part time so I will be pretty wide open to care for you furry friend. When I’m not working I’m taking care of my step son and my 5 dogs rather it be hiking, long sniff walks or fun games with the dogs. I also work on basic obedience every day. If you need I can work on sit, stay, wait, loose Leash walking. I will follow all your rules to keep your pets safe. I’m really knowledgeable about keeping animals safe. You won’t have to worry when in my care.

“Annabelle and Ben are incredibly kind and professional. I had them watch my dog, Dante, for five days while I went out of town. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a safe, fun, and loving environment for their dog. They welcomed Dante, who is not used to being away from the family, into their home and treated him as if he was their own. They even allowed Dante to sleep in their bedroom and relax on their living room couch. Annabelle and Ben have a large fenced-in yard where Dante was free to hang out and play with their very sweet pup Ranger. Dante also enjoyed fetching softballs from their kids and taking walks around their neighborhood. Annabelle and Ben were incredibly professional throughout the whole process. Annabelle invited me over for a meet and greet before booking and sent pictures daily while I was away. I could tell from the photos that Dante was very well taken care of. Dante came home calm and happy which is a true testament to the expert care that Annabelle and Ben provided. I will definitely use them again. In fact, I will be bringing Dante back in a few weeks!”

“I last minute needed to schedule a sitter for Bentley, I reached out to Ashton and Jay. They were very responsive, quickly set up a meet and greet. Jay was awesome, he was very chill, he had great energy Bentley and I felt comfortable with him almost immediately. Unfortunately I did not meet Ashton during this stay however; Jay sent updates to let me know my baby was doing great. Bentley is very spoiled and will sometimes decide not to eat the first day that I leave her, the fact that she ate so well for Jay told me she was very comfortable there! I am so happy we found Jay and Ashton! You better believe I will use them again!”

I work from home and all dogs are genuinely part of the family here, meaning your dog sleeps inside, hangs out with us, and gets real attention — not crate time. I keep things small on purpose: I host up to two guest dogs at a time so I can give full attention to your pet. Whether your dog is a puppy figuring things out or a senior who just wants a soft couch and some sunshine, they'll be comfortable here. “Alina was so wonderful. Our regular dogsitter had to cancel on us last minute. Alina came to the rescue and watched our dog for a 4 night stay. We were nervous to leave our senior dog (who has some special needs) with a brand new person. Usually we book an initial one-night stay with a sitter before doing anything more than 24 hours. It turns out we had nothing to be worried about. Alina checked in with us regularly and had very accurate descriptions of how our dog Bedu was settling in. By the end of her stay Bedu was in love. We brought home a very happy pup who was so well looked after, I can happily say she also had a little vacation herself. Alina’s residence is right next door to Petco, which was very convenient for us as we had forgotten to pack some supplies and stopped there on the way.”
