I think it was harder on me than it was on my dog :) Haley completely understood that and reassured me throughout the stay about how Kody was doing. I have a very nervous pup, and Haley gave him love when he needed it and space when he needed it. I also got pictures throughout the stay, which was so sweet. She even took him on a walk to help calm his nerves. The most important thing for me was finding someone who understands my anxious dog. He was abandoned twice so he doesn't do well being left with new people. Haley was perfect for Kody.”

“Five stars, no hesitation. Luz came out to the curb to meet us at drop-off, which was such a thoughtful touch. There’s always that awkward moment as a first-time visitor where you’re not sure whether to knock or ring the doorbell, and she just took that off the table entirely. She followed all my care instructions carefully and, most impressively, rolled with a last-minute curveball: our younger dog ended up needing his neuter surgery earlier than expected, so she had to take on a whole set of post-op instructions with very little notice. She handled it without missing a beat. Her own dog was an absolute gem, calm, gentle, not a barker. That matters more than it might sound. I always worry about my dogs picking up bad habits from an anxious or reactive dog, and that was just never a concern here. Both of my dogs are Chihuahua mix puppies, which is exactly as much energy as it sounds like. She had nothing but kind things to say about them at pick-up, which honestly I appreciated, because I can barely say that about them on a high-energy day. Most telling: they were asleep within 60 seconds of getting in the car. That’s always my gold standard for a good stay. She was also wonderfully communicative throughout, sending pictures and videos regularly. I don’t always need that from a sitter, but with someone new, it means everything to know they’re being attentive. Luz absolutely was. I’ve used a number of sitters in the Roseville and Rocklin area over the years and honestly never walked away from a drop-off feeling truly at ease. This was the first time. I felt confident the whole time that my dogs were in the best possible hands. Highly recommend, especially if you have puppies or dogs with special needs.”

In our home, pets are treated like royalty. Whether it is for attention and play, or food and water, all needs will be met with a smile. We have a fenced-in backyard with plenty of room to romp or do zoomies. Upon guests' approval, we may take dogs on a walk to our neighborhood park. Specific needs, such as medicine must be provided and specified in detail. All our animals are current on their shots and we require our guest animals to be as well. We adhere to Covid guidelines and have both received our Covid flu shots. We respectfully request upon meeting for our guests to wear a mask upon arrival. We do not have accommodations for females in heat or aggressive animals. For dog walking and drop-in visits, we are available any day of the week. However, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we will not be available from 1pm-5pm. The time on Tuesday may vary depending on Alex's school schedule. We plan to meet and exceed all the needs of the pet, which includes necessities, plenty of playtime, and walks. For housesitting, we can also water plants and bring in mail, if need be.

About: I have loved animals my whole life. And taken care of my own and others for half of my life. I love any animal I care for like my own! I have pet sat for and walked all kinds of animals from cats, dogs, chicken, and even a squirrel. My boyfriend also has a tortoise that I help care for when I go over to his place. From learning to spot the signes of when they start to feel the need to get aggressive with each other giving me the ability to stop a fight, to giving them love and attention which is something all animals deserve!
