“Grant is a fantastic caregiver for any doggy but esp mine. Ive got a great dog (husky mix, good temperament, great on walks, mellow, polite, no potty mistakes, doesnt destroy anything) and I struggle to let people spend time with her unless Im confident the person can maintain the same "rules, boundaries and limitations" that I (try to) do. (i.e., dont disrupt the freakin miracle) So, the big takeaways from my experience boarding the doggy with Grant: Grant communicates very well with his clients (texts and pics/videos), clearly created some kind of relationship with my doggy (totally relaxed, responded to Grant's voice), and has the type of property and pack where you know your dog is loving life (even if it upsets you that Grant would send you evidence that your dog can have such a good time without you). Most importantly to me, while my doggy was happy to see me when I picked her up (bc she's a good girl!), she was not particularly interested to leave bc she wanted to nose her new bestie from Grant's pack. So positive for me to know that she was safe and see she was having fun.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I dropped off my dog, Sugar, with Cody, and let me explain what “Sugar” is dealing with. Sugar is a tiny white cockapoo whose greatest natural predator is…existing. She’ll hear a leaf land three houses away and immediately file an insurance claim. She has been startled by her own reflection, a pillow, and once spent five minutes suspicious of a decorative pumpkin. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So naturally, I was thinking, “There’s no way this dog survives being around another dog and a cat.” Wrong. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cody has this supernatural calm that apparently extends to terrified fluff balls. His dog was basically like, “Hey, you wanna hang out?” Sugar answered in her native language, which is silent panic. His dog didn’t care. She just kept being cool until Sugar realized nobody was trying to assassinate her. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Then there’s the cat. Most cats look at a nervous little dog like they’re planning a documentary called How Easy Would It Be? Cody’s cat was just…chill. At one point I think the cat judged me more than it judged Sugar. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ By the end of the stay, Sugar was wandering around like she paid the mortgage. She actually looked relaxed. Relaxed! This is a dog who’s emotionally overwhelmed by a ceiling fan. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don’t know what Cody does. Maybe he whispers affirmations. Maybe he has Disney-princess powers. Maybe his dog is running some kind of emotional support operation and the cat is HR. Whatever it is, it works. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I picked Sugar up happy, safe, exhausted from actually having fun instead of rehearsing imaginary disasters. Cody sent updates, took amazing care of her, and somehow convinced the canine equivalent of an anxious Victorian ghost that life isn’t one long emergency. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If your dog is confident, Cody will probably make them happier. If your dog is like Sugar and thinks gravity is a personal attack, Cody is basically a miracle worker. Ten out of ten. Would absolutely trust him again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sugar probably still doesn’t trust the vacuum, but that’s between her and her therapist. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ~Christine and David”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs all my life since I was young and always found myself taking care for them for friends and family and as general clients. Ive done ear medication, injections and even drawn blood for heart worm tests for dogs when I shared my time at a veterinary clinic as an intern. I will be working part time and find myself very flexible when it comes to work hours and I have plenty of free time after 1pm. I have a rather large house though I’m mostly very open to taking your dog(s) on walks outside and around any inviting neighborhood and or dog park.

I keep my Rover calendar strictly updated with my work hours so you always know my exact availability before booking. If an 8-hour shift overlaps with your needed care times, we will discuss a seamless game plan beforehand to ensure your pet is fully looked after. Outside of my shift hours, I put focus on pet care. My background makes me highly routine-oriented, meaning I am incredibly reliable when it comes to early morning check-ins, evening walks, or overnight sitting blocks. I believe every pet deserves the perfect fit. If my work schedule ever conflicts with what your pet needs, I will be completely transparent upfront so you can find the best match for them. About: I have loved animals since I was small, volunteered at animal rescues since I was a child, and have my own menagerie of furry critters. I worked at a horse stable for over 7 years and owned a horse so also am knowledgeable about horses, donkeys, goats, chickens in addition to cat and dogs. I have trained all my dogs for over 15 years so understand how to kindly guide dogs. I have given medicine in all forms and am well versed in pet home first aid. I am currently working full time but have a flexible schedule so can usually accommodate any time of day with some notice. I walk my own dogs twice a day and live in an area with 5 parks. I take my dogs to the park frequently too so can easily add another dog to the mix. I have a fenced yard and a large pet filled home. My yard has a patio cover and a fan to keep everyone comfortable. For well behaved dogs who are cat savvy and non destructive, I can offer them to come inside and hang out on the couches. For other people’s homes, I love getting to know pets and will gladly try to make them as comfortable as possible. I’m happy to play with their favorite toys and give plenty of pets.
About: I have been a lifetime pet parent and now I’m sitting full time. I am use to small to medium breeds, I enjoy walks around the neighborhood, play time and I do homework outside to the pups get more run time. I also can do Poppins for any type of animals. I’m a full time on line student so I’m almost always home. I love animals. I like to play with them in the yard or cuddle up on the couch. I either walk them when needed or when it is safe to do I don’t like to take any dogs out on hot pavement unless they’re wearing shoes. About: In our humble abode, your pet will find themselves entranced with our enticing love and care. Each pet is treated with the utmost respect, along with fun toys and plenty of walks. My son, who is currently in college studying to become a veterinarian, will be readily available to assist at home. Concurrent with his schooling, Alex is licensed in Pet CPR and First Aid. If necessary, we both are experienced with administering medicine to different kinds of animals. Throughout my life, I gained experience handling cats, dogs, rabbits, reptiles, and farm animals. Our Current Residents; are a rambunctious, fun-loving, ready-to-play, five-year-old Sheprador (Dio), and 4 welcoming cats (Misty, Chestnut, Buttercup, Milkshake). For the safety of all animals in our wild kingdom, all animals must be up to date on their shots and are non-aggressive toward other pets. Unneutered males are welcome, however, we do not accept females in heat. Our schedules are very flexible, although we do request a one-day notice of cancellation. Due to Covid, I am currently working at home, which allows me to have plenty of time to cater to your pet's various wants and needs. We adhere to Covid guidelines for the safety of ourselves and future clients. We will have plenty of time to play with and take care of your pups! Both of us will be readily available for boarding, doggy daycare, walks, drop-in visits, and housesitting on weekends and weekdays. For drop-in visits, housesitting, and walks we are willing to watch, care for, and walk any pet including reptiles, amphibians, fish, etc. Any medication that the pet requires can be administered during any visit. In our home, pets are treated like royalty. Whether it is for attention and play, or food and water, all needs will be met with a smile. We have a fenced-in backyard with plenty of room to romp or do zoomies. Upon guests' approval, we may take dogs on a walk to our neighborhood park. Specific needs, such as medicine must be provided and specified in detail. All our animals are current on their shots and we require our guest animals to be as well. We adhere to Covid guidelines and have both received our Covid flu shots. We respectfully request upon meeting for our guests to wear a mask upon arrival. We do not have accommodations for females in heat or aggressive animals. For dog walking and drop-in visits, we are available any day of the week. However, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we will not be available from 1pm-5pm. The time on Tuesday may vary depending on Alex's school schedule. We plan to meet and exceed all the needs of the pet, which includes necessities, plenty of playtime, and walks. For housesitting, we can also water plants and bring in mail, if need be.

“Grant is a fantastic caregiver for any doggy but esp mine. Ive got a great dog (husky mix, good temperament, great on walks, mellow, polite, no potty mistakes, doesnt destroy anything) and I struggle to let people spend time with her unless Im confident the person can maintain the same "rules, boundaries and limitations" that I (try to) do. (i.e., dont disrupt the freakin miracle) So, the big takeaways from my experience boarding the doggy with Grant: Grant communicates very well with his clients (texts and pics/videos), clearly created some kind of relationship with my doggy (totally relaxed, responded to Grant's voice), and has the type of property and pack where you know your dog is loving life (even if it upsets you that Grant would send you evidence that your dog can have such a good time without you). Most importantly to me, while my doggy was happy to see me when I picked her up (bc she's a good girl!), she was not particularly interested to leave bc she wanted to nose her new bestie from Grant's pack. So positive for me to know that she was safe and see she was having fun.”
