“Lisette was PERFECT for our dog. She understood the importance of a good “fit” and our beagle had an amazing time out on her property. I felt safe leaving my dog with her. I would highly recommend Lisette to anyone needing a competent lady to watch a loved pet.”
“Linda was so great with our dear Moki lab/husky mix. She sent pictures and updates and I always knew our dog was in the best hands. I would use Linda's services again in a heartbeat!”

“We have never left our foster dog with anyone before, and were a little nervous. Chris put our worries and nerves ant ease! She was clearly a loving dog person and very knowledgeable. Loved all the photos and videos while we were away as well! We plan on booking with her again on our next get away!”

“Melissa was the perfect person to take care of our Sara. She had a great time with Melissa’s pups and family. She kept us informed on how Sara was doing each day. This was great for us as it was Sara’s first boarding experience. We know Sara had a blast!! Melissa thank you for welcoming Sara, Rich and I. We enjoyed you and meeting your family!! Hugs 🤗. Thank you.”

“I know my dog had an amazing time. She looked happy and relaxed when I picked her up. My baby Roxie did well her dog and think they may have horsed around quite a bit since when we got home she just napped like she does after having park time. We got pictures and updates of Roxie and we could tell she was tended to and being loved as well. We were late to pick her up due to flight delays and eventually cancelations. Sylvia was easy to coordinate with for the extra unexpected day. Also, my dog was bitten by a dog the day before we dropped her off and she had meds and special instructions to which I know she kept a good eye on her as the wound/bite had healed and was looking good even 2days after the incident. I would totally recommend her as she is attentive and caring. Roxie is our baby girl and she can be timid but with Sylvia my doggie felt right at home!! That is priceless to know while we were so far away from our little girl.”

I am retired, living in the foothills of Jackson. I can be available to travel to your home, stay in your guest room, and hang out with your pets, or take your small pet at my home. Since I am available to travel to your home and stay there with your pets while I enjoy them and the time spent reading and visiting local attractions. Should you wish to use my home for care, I am home a lot while going out for a couple of hours at a time for my social meetings and such. I appreciate that much of the time I spend will be at your home with your pets. If I go out they will be wherever you leave them when you go to work or play. I always make sure they are safe and that I return in time for walks, their next meal and shared evening and sleep routine time.

About: I’ve raised puppies, kittens, baby birds, chickens and various other animals, I’ve also had experience working on a dog farm and groomed various types of breeds. I’m available for part-time work and am flexible when it comes to scheduling. I am open to working Monday-Sun as long as it’s planned at least a week in advance. I have a fenced large yard with two separate deck areas, I am open to bringing the pets over and housing them or going to a clients house and pet sitting, walking or even bathing if needed in a comfortable and familiar place for the pet.
About: I have personally cared for dogs for over 30 years. We are a family of five who enjoys and loves our Laberdoodle, Brother. Our family truly loves caring for other dogs as well with walks, playtime, affection, and plenty of rest, making sure they feel safe and comfortable while in our care. Pet care fits very naturally into our daily and weekly routine. I work from home three days a week, and my wife, Shannon, is home full time as a stay at home mom. Our kids are home from school in the afternoons, so there is almost always someone present to give attention, supervision, and care. We are all available throughout the weekends, which allows for plenty of time for walks, play, and companionship. We are very careful, detail oriented, and affectionate in how we care for pets, whether in our home or a client’s home. We follow routines closely, pay attention to each dog’s personality and comfort level, and prioritize safety at all times. We know what it feels like to trust our own dogs to others through Rover, and we take that responsibility seriously. Our goal is for every dog in our care to feel safe, loved, well exercised, and able to rest comfortably.
“Sara was amazing! Not only was she so sweet with our doggo but she lives on an amazing property which is a dogs paradise. Her dog Shadow was such a great playmate , and we received tons of photos while we were out of town. We will definitely book with Sara again!”

“Jenn and her family provided great care for my GSP. He returned smiling and ecstatic! Jenn is very experienced with dogs and has her space is well thought out to accommodate different dogs.”

“Cameron did a great job with Yogi! He communicated well and sent pictures with updates. He asked questions about Yogi's needs and what to expect as far as his behaviour. He gave Yogi a few hours to decompress before being introduced to the other dogs in the home. Very professional and mindful...would definitely bring Yogi back and highly recommend Cameron!”

“Mrs. Ines and her husband took such wonderful care of my baby. She kept me updated on how things were going and responded immediately when I would reach out. Doodles had such a good time, she literally didn't want to leave. We'll definitely be contacting Mrs. Ines again for her services.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m so thankful for Kourtney! She was able to step in last minute when my original sitter fell through, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We had just moved to the area and didn’t know anyone, but she willingly took on the responsibility and made the whole process stress free. She was very patient and understanding with my dog Molly, who has been a bit anxious with all the recent changes. Communication was excellent, she sent frequent updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Not only did we have the comfort of knowing our girls were being cared for, we also came home after a long drive to a clean house and fresh sheets and towels. Elora goes above and beyond.”

“Chelsea took wonderful care of our two cats while we were away for a week. She provided twice a day feedings, which included medicating our senior cat, she played “fetch” with our junior cat that lives for treats, and for us she sent informative updates and fabulous photos of them both, and so much more! Chelsea’s compassion and kindness, and her integrity and reliability are the reason for this 5-star rating. We cannot thank Chelsea enough for watching our girls and we look forward to seeing Chelsea again in the future!”

“Charlene was amazing! She kept in contact with me daily, administered my older kitties meds, checked in with me to make sure I’d be home as expected and embraced one of the cats snuggling and sleeping with her. A true joy and highly recommend!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the combination of my attention to detail, love for animals, and a true commitment to providing top-notch care—no matter how big or small the task. I have experience administering medications, monitoring pets with special needs, and ensuring that every part of their environment stays clean and safe (yes, that includes a genuine passion for deep-cleaning litter boxes!).
“We recently moved to the area and were in need of someone to care for our senior cat. We found Linda and we are so glad we did! She is kind and professional and she takes her job seriously. She took great care of our kitty and even sent us pictures of a kitty that hangs around our property. We are happy knowing we have Linda for any cat care needs in the future.”

About: I have personal experience taking care of small, medium, and large size dog breeds and understand the different needs that come along with different dogs. I am adamant about following pet routines to include walking, feeding, reinforcing house rules and play time. Pets have always been an integral part of my family life and I believe that they deserve all the love and attention that we have to give. I have been lucky to have known two special dogs of my own who have since passed, Maddy was a large ball of energy that enjoyed running, tug of war, and lots of belly rubs, and Woofy who was an old soul that enjoyed snuggles and gentle head scratches. As Woofy aged he developed diabetes and a host of other medical needs (including a wheelchair) so I am familiar with injections and medication regimes for special needs dogs. Now a golden retriever named Asa is my furry companion for hiking, swimming, and general adventure. I work close to home during the day but I am available mornings, evenings, and weekends. My time outside out working hours is flexible to fit a variety of needs. I am diligent about checking instructions and making sure the environment is safe. I am happy to provide photos and any needed updates on how your pet is doing.
About: I adore animals. I have two dogs of my own that I love more than life. I can provide dog sit anywhere that works best for you! I am currently working a part-time job so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups. I have a very flexible schedule. I enjoy playing with pets to encourage their mental health along with physical health. I will report any concerning issues and will go on walks as scheduled
“Sabrina did a great job caring for my cats! My timid cat that hides from everyone spent time with her so that says a lot about how great she is with animals. Definitely recommend her services”

I know every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I provide regular updates with photos, stick to your pet’s routine as closely as possible, and treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your furry friend is receiving reliable, compassionate, and personalized care. I am a full time student all online! I have a reliable car! I am a night owl! Can be a morning riser when needed! I know when my old boy is not feeling well, hot or just need to eat. I have him for 11 years and since he was 8 weeks old! I went through the puppy stage and now while he my old man.
“Adara is a wonderful sitter! Her communication was stellar. Our cats are messy eaters, so I especially appreciate how she cleaned up after them every visit. I would definitely rebook and recommend her to others.”

“Ian did a great job looking after my kitties! They have very distinct personalities and I feel like he understood each of them. I really appreciated how he took the time to play with them and gave them attention :)”

About: My pet care experience began when I started living with my uncle as a teenager. Back in the Philippines, he would rescue puppies and keep them in the house until he could find them a foster home. After school, I would go straight home and take care of the rescues. I would feed them and keep them hydrated, and then take them out for a walk. I also taught them tricks until they could master it without treats. I strongly believed that training is an essential part of their growth. When I moved here, I adopted Astrid as a puppy and she has been with me for 3 years now. My main skills with pets includes strict attention to time management, understanding their behaviors, and attending to their needs. Other skills include having patience, clear communication with owners, being on time, and being responsible with the duties given. I currently work part-time as a cook in a nursing home. On my days off, I usually stay at home either on my computer or take my dog to play outside. I have a lot of leisure time on these days, and I believe that pet sitting will fulfill these times and keep me busy. In my home, I ensure that my dog sleeps and naps comfortably when tired. I make sure that there’s food for her and water always refilled. I keep my dog active by walking around the neighborhood and going to the playground. I also play the guitar and sing songs to her when there is nothing else to do. When she wants to go outside, I let her run free in the backyard surrounded with fences and have a shaded area for her when it gets too hot. I would also leave the door open in case she wants a colder environment which is inside the house. In a client’s home, I would ensure that their pets are well fed and hydrated. If there is an accident, I would willingly be responsible for that and take care of it. I would make sure that their pets are also being engaged in activities so that they would feel less bored when the parents aren’t home.

“Very impressed how Linda treated Oscar my Maltese with full attention that made my husband and I feel good about leaving Oscar. Now we don’t need to worry the next time we go for a long vacation. We finally found someone we fully trust and take care of our baby like family. My dog also learned how to ring the bell when he needs to go out. Linda doesn’t only took care of our Oscar but also trained him something he can do that we were not aware about . Kudos to Linda.”

About: Hi, I grew up around several different animals of all sizes from rodents/reptiles to livestock/dogs. I have always had at least one dog in my life at all times. The more the merrier. I love all animals big and small. I worked at a kennel where I learned about boarding and training dogs for about a year and I have pet sat for about 15 years in grand total. I currently work at a pet store in Sutter Creek. I love being around dogs and training or even just hanging out and playing. I am a outdoorsy person. I have experience with livestock animals also. Horses, cattle, chickens, Lhamas, mini animals, donkeys. I have references also if you would like them. Our home is completely fenced and sits on 3 acres. We have two friendly german shepherds. I work part time so some days I am gone at work. But our 17 year old daughter is always home. We also go to church Sunday morning so we would be gone for a couple hours but otherwise we are always home. I care for pets in my home as I would my own. I have 3 German Shepherds. 10 months to 7 years old. As for in home pet sitting I would follow whatever routine you have set for your fur babies already so it would be easier on them.
“Sabrina was great! She kept me notified throughout the time my puppy was in her care. My puppy was a little nervous and showed a little anxiety at first. Sabrina gave him a little guidance to help him feel more comfortable and confident to be in the area. I think it was great for Clifford to be around different animals and experience her backyard:) I will definitely book again soon 👍”

“This was my first time using ROVER.and am completely satisfied!! We arrived at our hotel and learned that while it is pet friendly you can’t leave your animal unattended. We had planned two days of motorcycle riding and having him ride in front of me was not an option. In a panic I downloaded Rover from the App Store and found Michele!! The entire family was AMAZING!! Their dog CC made Moultrie feel at home. In fact he had such a great time the first day that he bounded into the house the next morning! THANK YOU for everything!! Jessica”

About: Between growing up with cats and dogs, a parrot, horses, rabbits, and a tortoise, working with dogs in 4-H, showing my dog at the fair in the highest level of obedience, loving and caring for puppies, senior, blind, and deaf dogs, pet sitting for my neighbors and community members growing up, and working with clients through Rover doing drop in visits for walks, play time, feeds, and overnight house sits as well, I've become a well rounded animal caretaker and lover. Back at home after 9 months of traveling Asia, I am currently a free bird when it comes to scheduling, so please reach out with any requests for assistance meeting your pet care needs. With much TLC, tender loving care is how I care for pets. Additionally, I love for animals to be outside and so do I. My old dog and I used to go on so many hikes and swim in all of the creeks, having so much fun playing in the mountains. Despite enjoying dogs free of leashes, when I am walking dogs, I like to walk them on-leash as risk management to prevent unpredictable bad situations from arising.

I have two separate backyards-one for the smaller dogs and one for the bigger ones. However I’m accustomed to rotating them due to my experience as a whelper. I know how to manage introducing new dogs and keeping them separate if needed. My dogs have access to indoors and outdoors, and they sleep in the house at night. I’ve set up set up my garage to be cozy and welcoming for dogs to stay in at night.
“Emily watched my dog Prince while my family and I went to the lake at Twain Harte. She was amazing! The original time I had proposed didn't work, but she was very accommodating for a later drop off time. Thanks to her my family and I were able to go to the lake (where there are no dog allowed), and I had peace of mind the whole time. Thank you, Emily!”
“Our dog immediately liked Cameron. We were worried how he would do because we've rarely gotten sitters for him but he had a great time and Cameron was very professional and knew how to handle our dogs quirks. We'd definitely leave Coltrane with him again!.”

“Chelsea is great! She responds quickly, shows up on time, is flexible, and has worked with me to address my dog’s needs. My dog takes a while to warm up to people, but she felt comfortable with Chelsea almost immediately and I did as well. If you are in the Jackson area I highly recommend Chelsea as a dog walker.”

About: I have been owned by cats and dogs in the past. I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). Do they do well with new people? I prefer not to sit pit bull terriers, but mixed breeds I don't have a problem with. About: I was raised on a ranch with all kinds of pets. I can't recall life without dogs we are so fortunate to have them in our lives they are unconditional in the love and affection they give . I was in dog rescue for 21 years as a foster. I had 7 dogs all were what was considered not able to be put in a home do to behavior issues the only option for these dogs was to be euthanized so I kept the rejects and had to stop rescue as to the inn was full and I still dog sat for the dogs that had been at my home until a new home was found . I have extensive experience with all types of dogs . I have a cat who pretends dogs do not exist so she just stays away, my cat was a ferel rescue cat and is now a fat and sassy house cat . I have a large home so have part of it sectioned off where her litter box and food are to keep dogs out of both . If I house sit I have experience with farm animals for feeding. I garden so watering is in my range. I'm home 80% of the time so I'm available. I may run a errand but that's about it . If weather permits and you have a road dog car rides with me are perfect. I spend a lot of my time cooking and blogging I cook for seniors in my community. If I'm gardening outside the dogs are welcome to be with me. I have a double lot so plenty of play room . Half of it is fenced for plenty of play room . I have a crate if needed . Your dog will have free roaming access in my home and allowed on the furniture . If I'm sitting your pet in your home it's your home and your rules that I follow . I have passed my Background check here on Rover to take care of your fur babies. I have passed my 2nd Government Background check to take care of children. I have passed my 3rd Goverment Background check to take care of elders . I love all types of dogs and get super excited when I see one! Throughout the years, I've gained experience taking care of dogs of all sizes and ages. I love getting to spend quality time with them and getting to know their personalities. As a dog lover, I love getting to spend quality time with any dog. My favorite activities include walks, playing fetch, going to the dog park, and just hanging out while giving great head scratches. I aim to create a fun, comfortable, and loving environment for every dog of every size! I work as a therapist and mostly have availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays; however, I sometimes have additional openings during the week which are reflected in my calendar. I start the day by feeding the dogs, letting them rest a bit, and then taking them on a walk outside to get some fresh air. Throughout the day, I continue to interact and play with them, and finish off the day with time spent outdoors followed by dinner.

At the end of the day, a pet is truly a human’s best friend and deserves the best care. I hope you keep me in mind when you need an individual to look after your animal! Only the best care for them. I also have a reactive dog in-training, so I have tons of hands-on experience! Sincerely, Shileen Andico I’m currently working full-time as a teacher, with summers off and breaks during holidays! This leaves me available for all times available for walks, check-ins, etc! Working with a reactive dog, I understand that care and making a dog feel safe is always top priority! I will ensure that your dog will feel comfortable with me.

About: My own dog, Zeus, who was a German Shepard, had developed hip dysplasia in his elder years. He passed in 2024 but in his last years of life I learned to properly administer his two medications, and was able to trick him into taking them when he was stubborn, which was all of the time. I cleaned up after him while my parents were away and sat with him when he was anxious, which again, was all of the time. I took him on walks when he was younger and was able to handle his strength. I adore dogs and understand the stress of leaving a special needs dog by themselves. If you need a calm energy for your senior dog, or playfulness for your puppy, I'm your guy. At the moment I am still looking for a full or part time job, so my days and nights are completely open for those who need a sitter. I will care for your dog by first making sure they have their nessecities, food, water, medication, and a bathroom break. If we go on a walk I will make sure their harness and leash are secure, and am willing to walk however long your dog wishes to walk. When we come back to your home I will make sure he is uninjured, no issues with the feet or body if we go to a dog park. I am willing to do anything and everything to ensure the safety and health of a dog.
About: I grew up in a home filled with animals, so caring for furry family members has always come naturally to me. During the 7+ years I lived in Philadelphia, I taught at a large charter school and began house and pet sitting on the side for fellow teachers and staff. Over the years, I had the privilege of caring for so many sweet furry babies, including pets who needed extra attention, medication, and around-the-clock care. I truly grew attached to many of them and missed them dearly when my Philly chapter came to a close in 2024. Today, I proudly call Sacramento home and am excited to share that same love and care with a new community of pet friends! I’m a firm believer that animals can see and feel the energy of humans in ways we sometimes cannot. I lead with warmth, patience, attentiveness, and genuinely good energy…and animals tend to pick up on that pretty quickly. I’ve yet to meet a furry friend who didn’t eventually warm up to me. 😊 I’m especially comfortable caring for pets who need a little extra support, including administering medications, following detailed routines, and providing consistent care throughout the day or night. I work best with thoughtful pet parents who deeply care for their animals, their homes, and the energy within both. When you book with me, you can expect plenty of LOVE, communication, respect for your space, and most importantly…ACCOUNTABILITY. 💛 I work remotely and have plenty of time to share with your furry family members. I love nature and take many walks/hikes as a form of self care. I’m sure we can work just about anything out—flexibility is our middle name😉.” Interactive pup toys to keep them engaged (i.e Kongs, Hide&Seek Treats) My energy can be extremely high most times so playtime is always a thing both indoors and out!! On a chill day/evening you’ll find my toddler (if approved) and I cuddled up or sprawled out on the floor with your fur babies vibing.🕯️
