“We had mixed feelings about using rover and someone we did not know watch over our puppy before we booked with Brooke. Our puppy Shai has anxiety and fear towards different things and people not once did that stop her from looking over Shai. She was very communicative through out his whole stay which kept us at easy while we were away. About: I live in the Sacramento Delta in a quiet neighborhood. Great neighborhood for walks and a nice fenced corner lot yard for your pup to run around in. I live with my elderly father who enjoys meeting new doggy friends. 24 hr supervision since I work remotely! I’m an early riser and enjoy morning walks. Your doggy will recieve a good amount of outdoor time and have an active and stimulating day. I’m comfortable with your dog sleeping in bed with me but respect if you prefer them to sleep in a crate. I work remotely so I have no issue staying at your house as well!

I was quite anxious to leave him home alone, especially with the recent passing of his cat sibling. I booked drop-in visits with Rachel and she was great! I really appreciated the time that she spent with my cat. I could tell that she was very attentive and caring toward him. I also loved the selfies/pictures she sent during most of the drop-in visits. I could tell that he was happy having a visitor! Rachel also offered to drop-in on an additional day if my flight was cancelled, which was very kind. About: I have been talking care of animals all my life! Have had cats, dogs, chickens, and rabbits! I was apart of FFA in high school taking care of farm animals too! Animals have always been my passion of mine and I love their unique personalities! I learn your pets routine! About: My experience comes from owning not just dogs (XL-XS) and cats, but many animals in my lifetime. To me, living with these animals is the best way to gain experience. I have also done many house sitting jobs for people with lots of pets, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy doing. To me, the most important thing is establishing trust with your sitter, and I am a guaranteed safe person to trust any animal with. I’m great at reading animal body language and typically do well with all pets. I work at Panera, so my hours are not crazy, and never are usually longer than 4 hours, so pet sitting works great with my schedule. In a clients home, it’s important to follow all of the instructions they provide, while also making their pets feel as if the owners never left.

I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. About: I’ve taken care of three dogs at one house and house sat. I’ve taken care of three other different breeds of dogs at one house and house sat. I’ve then let two different families bring their dogs here at different times and sat them for a month in the summer. Iva also went to a house and dog sat an old dog and a baby cat. For the summer, I’m free all the time! During the school year, I go to community college so after 1pm, I am almost always free, I can also wake up early to check in. I have a fenced house, with a large amount of land. As for your house, I will make sure your animals are always cared for and feel safe at home.

About: I was raised on a ranch with all kinds of pets. I can't recall life without dogs we are so fortunate to have them in our lives they are unconditional in the love and affection they give . I was in dog rescue for 21 years as a foster. I had 7 dogs all were what was considered not able to be put in a home do to behavior issues the only option for these dogs was to be euthanized so I kept the rejects and had to stop rescue as to the inn was full and I still dog sat for the dogs that had been at my home until a new home was found . I have extensive experience with all types of dogs . I have a cat who pretends dogs do not exist so she just stays away, my cat was a ferel rescue cat and is now a fat and sassy house cat . I have a large home so have part of it sectioned off where her litter box and food are to keep dogs out of both . If I house sit I have experience with farm animals for feeding. I garden so watering is in my range. I'm home 80% of the time so I'm available. I may run a errand but that's about it . If weather permits and you have a road dog car rides with me are perfect. I spend a lot of my time cooking and blogging I cook for seniors in my community. If I'm gardening outside the dogs are welcome to be with me. I have a double lot so plenty of play room . Half of it is fenced for plenty of play room . I have a crate if needed . Your dog will have free roaming access in my home and allowed on the furniture . If I'm sitting your pet in your home it's your home and your rules that I follow . I have passed my Background check here on Rover to take care of your fur babies. I have passed my 2nd Government Background check to take care of children. I have passed my 3rd Goverment Background check to take care of elders . The point is I want you to be assured your fur babies are safe with me .

“Solo loved his time with Shelly and her family! I'm pretty sure he misses them :-/ I got daily updates and photos, he had daily walks and was able to feel safe with them during fireworks. Very warm family and will be my go to for Solo next time I take a trip.”

“We had mixed feelings about using rover and someone we did not know watch over our puppy before we booked with Brooke. Our puppy Shai has anxiety and fear towards different things and people not once did that stop her from looking over Shai. She was very communicative through out his whole stay which kept us at easy while we were away. Brooke also was able to attend to our schedule and was even able to extend Shai’s stay one extra day which helped us a ton. Overall 10/10 experience with some who we would trust with our pup again.
