I have done house sitting and pet sitting on my own since I was 19, and I find it such a joy to be able to get to spend time with some amazing animals. About five years ago, I brought home my current dog as a puppy, just a few weeks old, and I’ve been raising him ever since. He’s truly like my kid. Through these years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with training, daily care, grooming, and understanding dog behavior. I’ve also learned how to handle situations like anxiety and stress, making sure he feels safe and comfortable. Having a dog has not only been a joy, but it has also taught me patience, responsibility, and the deep bond that comes from caring for animals. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. Since I already care for my own dog, I’m used to scheduling walks, feeding, grooming, and playtime around my day. I make sure to prioritize their needs by setting aside time in the morning and evening for exercise, and I stay consistent with training and routines to keep them comfortable. Taking care of pets has become second nature to me, so incorporating it into my daily life feels natural and rewarding. As a pet boarding provider, the safety and well-being of the animals in my care is my top priority. I ensure that my home is a secure environment, free from hazards such as exposed wires, toxic plants, or small objects that pets could swallow. I provide separate, comfortable spaces for each pet as needed, with access to fresh water, proper nutrition, and appropriate bedding. I maintain a clean environment by regularly sanitizing food and water bowls, litter areas, and common spaces. I supervise pets at all times to prevent conflicts and ensure that each animal receives individual attention, exercise, and mental stimulation. I also follow any specific instructions from the pet owners regarding feeding schedules, medications, or behavioral needs to ensure continuity of care. Overall, my goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where pets feel at home while staying with me.
About: After talking to your dog, I think that we will get along amazingly well. We are a homeschool family, so my two kids (ages 16 and 14) and I will spend all day with your furry friend. They will be treated like family. We love dogs. My husband and I have had dogs our whole lives. Your dog will receive excellent care, love and companionship while they stay with us. We have been a foster family to a mama dog and her 5 puppies. All our dogs have been rescue dogs. We can't wait to love your dog!! We also have 3 kitties. We want to keep our little kitties safe, so we can only take kitty friendly dogs. Overnight stays are up to 24 hours. If your furry friend will be staying longer than 24 hours, additional fees will apply. For an additional 4 hours, the fee is $15. If they will be staying 4-8 hours over the 24 hour period, the daily rate of $25 will be charged. If they stay 8+ hours over the 24 hour period, the nightly rate of $30 will be charged. About: I have had pet experience all my life mosty with cats but now most recently with dogs as well. I am looking forward to caring for your fur babies part and or full time. I would like this opportunity to care for your pets to become a better pet owner myself. I currently have 1 dog no cats at this time. I have also owned a cat and dog at the same time. I know how to make pets feel comfortable with me since I have the experiences of being a pet owner myself. Special skills I have would be administering medication to pets. I would love the opportunity it work with your family. I am currently working part time so I have most mornings available and evenings as week as weekends. I also have my summers free due to my job description. I care for my pets and clients pets the same. Once I am responsible for a pet they will be treated with the care they deserve whether at my home or theirs.
