“I contacted Matthew at the very last minute to see if he could board my dog starting that very same day - 3 hours notice. My husband and I were at a pet friendly vrbo with our two dogs and found out that they would only allow one. He got back to me right away and was able to accommodate me. He and his partner took in our rambunctious rescue Dachshund Hans and took excellent care of him all weekend. Hans has high energy and separation anxiety and they were undaunted by that. They have a lovely home with a big back yard and two adorable dogs of their own who were great playmates. Photos they sent showed fun times and some good cuddling with the humans. I can't recommend these gents enough and will always get in touch with them when we come to the Palm Springs area with our pooches.”

“Cesar is amazing!! He took care of my three cats while we were out of town for our wedding, over the past 9 days our kitties were in great care with Cesar’s drop in visits! He went above and beyond our expectations. Truly kept the litter boxes clean and swept around them! He changed their food and water and made sure they were safe! Cesar is trust worthy and respectful! He kept us updated throughout the whole process, sending us lots of loving photos and even keeping us updated on the weather! He is soo kind and truly loves animals, we have gold fish here too, even thou we were feeding them pebbles with the automatic feeder he noticed the fish and added some bounce flacks when he visited (out of the kindness of his heart). SO NICE! If you are looking for someone to care for your pets, I HIGHLY recommend Cesar he is very knowledgeable and caring, he followed every step I gave him and went beyond that. Our Murphy had a fabulous day and it was a relief to know he was being well taken care of. Anna sent us pictures throughout the day of Murphy, Murphy and Gus' adventures. They had a large backyard and lots of places for our Murphy to relax inside. He had a fabulous time and we didn't worry about him at all! Anna was fabulous to deal with (we didn't get to meet Tyler). “I've never left my new rescue dog with anyone and I didn't think he'd do well with a lot of dogs at a normal day care because he can get overwhelmed and defensive. Judith is a dog person. She understands them and was a great sitter. Once Goedy and her dog got to know each other they played and wrestled all day! About: Hi and welcome to Idyllwild! Our names are Anna and Tyler and we are full time residents of this beautiful mountain town. 🏔️ We both have grown up with dogs and have two super friendly dogs named Gus and Murphy who spend their days running around in our fully fenced in back yard and going on walks about the scenic neighborhood. We love having furry friends over and giving them their own little mountain adventure! Guaranteed play time outside for most of the day and lots of cuddles and belly rubs. We’re a great resource for when you want to go on hikes in the area as most of the trails are not dog friendly! We both work from home full time so your dog will get lots of love and attention! For our furry friends doing drop in visits and walks, we can accommodate any schedule and frequency, as our work days are very flexible! You can expect your dog(s) to have plenty of fun, supervised, run around time in the backyard. Lots of different space for play or naps 🎉

About: I have house sat + pet sat for different animals from young and spunky, to wiser and older, and pets that were preparing to cross over the rainbow. The rest of the week I am available in the evenings and can accommodate for walks/check-ins. Just ask! I prefer to care for your pets in your home for overnight stays as your pet is already familiar with its surroundings, scents, and all their usual comforts. I find it more comfortable for the pet especially as most pets will miss their people, naturally! I provide all the snuggles and space they need depending on how the animal is feeling, lots of walks, treats and little adventures so that they are always having a good time. Building a relationship on trust with animals is something that I aim for from the beginning!
