“This is Knives and Chowder's second visit. We aren't from the area and drive two hours to Sacramento to meet friends and do some errands. We wanted to book daycare with Florene again because Knives and Chowder loved their first play care and it was obvious how well our dogs were treated and cared for. Even though it's been a year since their first, my puppies were whining with excitement as soon as we drove up to the house (so that says a lot!). Just like the first visit, Knives and Chowder spent lots of good social time with other dogs, both big and small. We were sent LOTS of pictures throughout the day: meeting the other dogs, playing, getting treats, resting with the family. It was both reassuring and a joy to see the dogs enjoying themselves. When we picked up the pups, Florene sent them with home little gifts and thank you card (which was so cute). Florene treats our pups like family and we really appreciate her and her husband! About: I currently have two dogs at home that have been raised since they were puppies. I provide consistent routines for our dogs and am confident in my ability to provide stability for your dogs while you are away from home. My home has a fenced off area indoors and outdoors to give your dogs plenty of space to roam around and not have to be fully cooped up all day. I will help your dogs have a home away from home. I currently have a full time job, but my job also allows for work from home so my schedule is based on my ability to be home during your pet’s stay. Even if I need to be in office, I can come home during my lunch break for 30 minutes to tend to the dogs. On weekends I will be home and only go out for a few hours at a time for groceries. I am very familiar with crate training and other simple tricks for dogs. I always feed all dogs separately to ensure no food guarding occurs and we monitor the dogs throughout meal time. Animal sitting has been a big thing of ours since we can remember and now that we have adopted Bingo, it has pushed us to do this full-time. I’m known for being a great communicator, dependable, and attentive to both pets and owners. I offer house sitting, drop-ins, walks, overnight care, and can also help with light household tasks like bringing in mail/packages, watering plants, pulling trash cans in or out, and keeping your home tidy while you’re away. I especially love caring for senior pets and pets who do best staying in the comfort of their own home. I understand every animal has different needs, personalities, and routines, and I always try to make them feel safe and comfortable while you’re gone. For overnight stays, my fiancé may occasionally accompany me for safety and comfort purposes, but your pet’s care and respect for your home always come first. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I currently have a very flexible schedule during the week. Outside of pet sitting, I spend my time applying to jobs in clinical research, running errands, doing chores, and meeting with friends, which gives me plenty of availability and flexibility for drop-ins, walks, overnight stays, and last-minute bookings. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for pets never feels like a chore to me. I’m very attentive with feeding schedules, playtime, walks, litter box cleaning, medications if needed, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. At this time, I only offer care in my client’s home because I have an anxious 9-year-old tabby cat at home, and I want to keep his environment calm and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to maintain their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. For overnight stays, I usually stay in the guest room or designated area of the home, and many pets enjoy sleeping nearby or spending time with me throughout the day. I’m very respectful of your home and prioritize cleanliness, safety, and communication. I make sure doors are securely locked, pets are supervised carefully, and feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and potty breaks are handled consistently. I also pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and comfort level to help reduce stress and keep them happy during your absence. My goal is always to create a calm, trustworthy, and loving environment where both you and your pets feel comfortable and cared for.
About: I’ve babysat younger cousins and babies before, I have taken care of my own dog, and my cousins dog, I’ve also taken care of grandparents and other seniors. I have a plenty of time to take care of animals, I’m athletic so I can take pets on walks or runs, and I’m never too busy, I stay at home most of the time. I make sure my own dog is well groomed, well fed, bed is clean, house is clean, take her on daily walks and pet her or give her attention when needed.

I will help care for your pets while you are on vacation or unable to care for your pets while you are at work or need a short break. About: I’ve had a wide variety of animals since I was little, and I’m currently taking my prerequisites for vet school! I am able to care for not only dogs, cats, and rodents, but a wide variety of reptiles, birds, and invertebrates! If you’d like to know more about my knowledge on a specific animal you’d like me to care for, don’t be afraid to ask! I’m an open book! I am also able to bottle feed young puppies or kittens if you are needing time off from doing so! I am currently a college student who does asynchronous work. I am able to adjust my schedule at short notice to accommodate your pet and my work. If house sitting over night is needed, I am able to do my work anywhere! So it all works out in the end. I don’t offer boarding at my home, but I am very accommodating. Whatever your furbaby needs at home, i’ll be able to provide! I can take your dog for walks, clean up accidents, feed, give medication (as long as instructions are provided) and give them quality play time! I am also able to clean up litter boxes, rabbit cages, hamster cages, and other small critter cages. If you are needing live feeder insects daily for your reptilian friend, I am able to pick those up daily for them!
