About: Hello! My name is Kody but I go by Julian 😊 I grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets, from big and little dogs and cats to hamsters, bunnies, and even a couple of hermit crabs! I’ve also cared for many friends’ and family members’ pets while they’ve been away, and I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. Most recently, I cared for my roommate’s two senior cats, teaching me the importance of being patient, attentive, and consistent with older pets and their individual needs. I also became comfortable helping one of the cats with her asthma inhaler and other medical care. I work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a 1–1.5 hour break around 1:30 PM each day. I work fully remotely on Wednesdays, which gives me additional flexibility for pet care. I’m happy to provide care before or after my workday, during my lunch break when timing allows, and on weekends. During the summer (June 15–August 15), I also have Fridays off and am available throughout the day. I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that keeps your pet comfortable, cared for, and on their normal routine. I understand how important your pets are to you, and I never take the responsibility of caring for them lightly. “Quetzaly is a gem! From the very first meet-and-greet it was clear she loves cats and would treat my 6mo kitten Moss like her own. She was skilled in handling all the troublemaking that Moss could throw at her and communicated everything to me; e.g. when Moss pulled a painting off the wall and into her water dish, Quetzaly rescued the painting for me and on short notice refreshed the water dish just so there wouldn't be any traces of paint in the water, which I really appreciated. I also loved all the photos and the little notes she left during the visit (and my family enjoyed the updates too!). She even left a note for me afterwards letting me know about some local events going on since I'd mentioned I'm new to the area. All in all a great catsitting experience :)”

I care for my cat and dog by changing the litter box and scooping when necessary, scooping and picking up dog poop. I give them both food and water and bathe and groom when needed. Regarding your animals, I can walk your dog, (or cat) to wherever you'd like, for however long you want. I will pick up poop if you provide me with bags. I can control small and medium dogs, larger dogs too since my dog is a large dog, but I do better with smaller animals. If you have a cat or other animal you want me to sit with for the day, I can scoop litter and feed them according to your choosing.
