“Thank you for taking care of my dogs and sending lots of pictures and videos. Yuanyuan and her family were very flexible and kind. As soon as we brought our pups, Yuanyuan’s dad greeted them with a big hug. I hope to book with you soon!”

“Anne & Jason did an excellent job caring for our 5 pound dog. They were so good to send me daily pictures and promptly answer any questions I had. We will definitely be using them again and have already booked them for our next trip.”

“Mel was amazing! He took wonderful care of our German Shepherd, Yzer, for a whole week and sent us daily updates and photos. We felt comfortable and confident from the moment we met him. Yzer had a great time, and we couldn't be happier with the care he received. Thank you, Mel! Highly recommended.”

“Julie and Justin took such great care of our dog, Mia, while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. They kept us updated, sent photos, and made sure Mia was comfortable and well cared for the entire time. Mia can be a little shy at first, but she quickly warmed up to them, which says a lot. It was clear that they treated her like part of the family and genuinely cared about her well-being. We’re so grateful for their kindness and attention, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. Thank you, Julie and Justin, for taking such wonderful care of Mia!”

“Amy was fantastic with Ruthie! She provided regular updates and pictures while we were on vacation, which really put our minds at ease. Her communication was excellent and we always felt in the loop. She was also very attentive to Ruthie's health and noticed some anxiety-related behaviors, which we really appreciated (even though it turned out to be nothing serious, as this has happened before). We highly recommend Amy as a dog sitter - she's caring, responsible, and clearly loves animals.”
“Debbie and Bill provided first class care for our dog for an overnight stay. Their home and backyard, and their own pet, made our dog very comfortable. Highly recommend!”

“Mike & Ja Hyung were the best dogsitters!! My dog Poluna is a small Shih Tzu-Maltese mix and honestly thinks she’s bigger and better than everyone, so she’s not always the friendliest. But Mike & Ja Hyung were so sweet and let us stop by ahead of time so our dogs could meet—and everything went great! Their dog Bendy was so sweet and calm, he was exactly what Poluna needed to learn how to be friendly and adjust to a new home for a few days. One of my family’s biggest concerns is making sure Poluna is safe and secure wherever she stays—and also that the place is clean because she will literally eat anything off the floor. Mike & Ja Hyung totally reassured us that if the dogs were outside, someone would always be with them, and that they were going to clean the floors the night before in preparation. SO AMAZING. We’ve never felt so comfortable leaving Poluna with anyone. They sent updates, pics, and videos all weekend, and were just the sweetest couple. They accommodated everything we needed, and we’ll definitely be using them again. Poluna came home so tired after her weekend-long playdate with Bendy—sign of a good time!”

“Jing was amazing! She was able to accommodate us at short notice and communicated with us very frequently! Our dog Brax seemed super happy and comfortable! We will definitely book her again! ☺️🐾”

“Rebecca was so kind and sweet to my dog! I had to be out of town for 5nights and this was my first time using rover. She sent me photos and updates almost everday so that I dont have to worry. Her whole family members were being so nice and kind to my dog! i'll definitely ask her to sit my dog next time!! :)”

“Eric took care of our 2 dogs on 2 separate occasions and every thing was great. Sent lots of pics and updates with what they were doing. We felt our dogs were well taken care of and we didn’t worry. We used Rover sitters a few other times and will use Eric from now on. 5 stars for sure!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up in a dog - loving family, caring for breeds of all sizes - from Labrador Retriever and Beagle to my current Labradoodle. Through the years, I’ve developed a strong understanding of dog behavior and how to care for each pup based on their unique personality and needs. I’m very detail-oriented, responsible, and easy to reach - I prioritize clear communication and am available 24/7 for updates or questions. My goal is to create a safe, fun, and loving environment for your dog, just like home. I’d love to learn more about your pup and how I can give them the best possible experience. Please feel free to share any details, preferences, or routines! My husband and I both work from home, so there’s almost always someone here to keep your dog company and make sure they’re well cared for throughout the day. We want every dog in our home to feel safe, comfortable, and included - not like they’re simply being “watched.” Our goal is to keep your dog entertained, secure, and happily engaged while they’re with us. We have a big yard that allows the dogs plenty of outdoor space to run around and sun-bathe when they need to. There are different areas in the house that we can section off if your dog needs more quiet and alone time. We have built a safe and trusting environment to accommodate different needs.
“Eric took wonderful care of my dog for two days. He was very caring, attentive, and professional. Everything was clean and well organized, and I could tell my dog was happy and comfortable during the stay. Eric kept me updated, which gave me great peace of mind. I truly appreciate his kindness and dedication. I highly recommend Eric to anyone looking for a trustworthy and responsible dog sitter. Thank you, Eric!”

About: I have had a dog since my first memory up until 3 years ago we lost our 3rd family dog. I have 3 years of experience walking dogs and about a year of training experience at a doggy daycare. I understand what pets need and the care they deserve from everyday operation at the facility I work at. I acquired a B.S. in Animal Science from Cal Poly Pomona to strengthen my understanding of animal health and welfare. I’m currently working towards my trainers certification, which is done at home at my own pace. I have an empty and free schedule to dedicate all my time to giving your best friend a positive experience!!! I have a 10 foot high fence and 8 foot surrounding barriers. My yard can accommodate 5-6 large dogs for them to run around and play comfortably. I also take dogs on 15-30 minute walks giving them opportunities to sniff and explore their environment just like they were meant to!

She was very responsible, patient, and attentive to his needs. We would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”

“Josephine was great and took care of our Soondae. He doesn't like eating much while not at home but I'm glad he ate a bit with Josephine. He must have felt comfortable with her and her. She kept is informed and sent pictures of him just enjoying his time there.”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and patience I bring to every pet I meet. As a full-time teacher, I'm naturally attentive, understanding, and calm, which helps pets feel comfortable and safe. I take the time to learn each pet's personality and routine so they receive the care they're used to at home. I'm happy to care for pets of all ages, from playful puppies who need extra patience and energy to senior pets who may need a gentler pace and lots of love. My goal is to give every pet companionship, comfort, and plenty of attention while giving owners peace of mind knowing their furry family member is in caring hands. As a full-time teacher, caring for others is already a big part of who I am. On weekdays, I dedicate my time to my students, and on Saturdays I love spending my free time with your fur babies. Whether it's keeping them company, going on walks, playing, or simply giving them extra love and attention while you're away, I enjoy making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to create a calm, loving environment where they can feel comfortable and relaxed. I always care for every pet with kindness, patience, and respect. I follow each owner's instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any special routines. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. Whether I'm caring for them in my home or in a client's home, I treat them as if they were my own and always keep their well-being my top priority.

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with a wide range of pets. I grew up with large herding dogs, so I’m very comfortable handling big, high-energy breeds. I also have a dog of my own who’s full of energy, and through multiple training courses I’ve learned effective ways to keep dogs engaged, exercised, and well-behaved. On top of that, I share my home with a cat, so I understand the different needs and personalities of both cats and dogs. Whether it’s puppy training, senior care, or managing pets with lots of energy, I bring patience, consistency, and a genuine love for animals.

“We had a great experience with Joyce! She provided drop in visits for our kitten. She was very professional, pleasant and communicative. She provided detailed entries during her visits, including photos, which made us feel so at ease. Our kitten had a great time playing with her. I felt very comfortable working with her and will definitely be using her again for future visits!”

“Edith did a fantastic job taking care of our cat while we were away. She was prompt every day, gave Loki plenty of attention, and kept him fed and cared for. We enjoyed seeing all of the photos!”

About: Hi! I’m Judy. I’m a gentle, patient, and detail-oriented pet sitter, with a special love for cats. As a cat parent myself, I know how stressful it can feel to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I have experience caring for cats who need extra patience, including shy, senior, and medically fragile cats. I understand that some cats need play and attention, while others simply need a calm person who respects their space. For each visit, I will make sure your cat has fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and a safe, calm environment. I will also send photos and updates so you know how your pet is doing. I pay attention to small details like appetite, energy, litter box habits, and changes in behavior. I speak both English and Mandarin Chinese and can provide updates in either language. I would love to help care for your cat while you’re away and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
About: Hi, I'm an animal lover in general and have close personal experience with both dogs and cats from the entirety of their lifespan. I'm available to reach out freely if any questions or concerns may arise. I follow your pet’s regular schedule for meals, walks, and playtime whenever possible. I use secure leash handling, maintain cleanliness, and pay close attention to behaviorial signals. I’m also prepared to coordinate with your vet and keep you updated as necessary.

“Tracy is a bright light, caring and an awesome person. She has a way with animals (and people). Harper took to her instantly. I felt comfortable and assured that he would be well in Tracy’s care. My Harper is deaf. But he bonded and understood Tracy very well. We give her an additional 5 more stars ⭐️🌟💫🌟⭐️”

About: I’ve had cats of my own and have cared for plenty of friends’ and family’s cats, including the shy ones who disappear under the bed when someone new arrives. I don’t chase them out. I sit down, stay quiet, and let them decide when they’re ready. Some come out right away, some take a few visits, and both are completely fine. Visits include food, fresh water, litter care, a wellness check, photos, and time together at their comfort level. I’ll happily play and cuddle with the social ones, or quietly keep them company if they’re more reserved. I’m also comfortable following established medication routines, including oral medications and scheduled injections, as well as giving senior cats extra attention when needed.

“Mel is an excellent dog sitter! We booked our first day care before my dog, Lucifur, was diagnosed with some limiting orthopedic issues that will soon require surgery. That means he now has to have his movement someone restricted to protect him from injury. When I gave Mel this update and asked if he would still be able to care for Lucifur, he was enthusiastic to watch him. In fact, when I arrived on the first day, Mel had thoughtfully set up a secure area for Lucifur to relax in AND had a plan to keep our dogs separated so Lucifur wouldn't get over excited and run/jump around. Mel was really thoughtful in ensuring that Lucifur had an environment that was safe and he put me at ease. Lucifur enjoys hanging out with Mel and Roxy and I feel confident that he's in great hands. Mel will be out #1 Rover choice from now on!”

“Eunice was great as responding quick and Kobe had a great time at her home. There were multiple updates throughout the day. I will definitely use her services again for Kobe.”

About: Animals have always been family in my home. I had a Terrier who I cared for throughout every stage of life into their elderly years, which gave me experience with senior dog care, patience, and understanding changing needs as dogs age. I’ve also spent a lot of time around other family dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and anxiety needs. I understand that every dog has their own temperament and comfort level, and I make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for like part of the family. Whether a dog is playful and energetic or shy and anxious, I’m patient, attentive, and focused on creating a calm environment where they can feel comfortable. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, so I am almost always home with the dogs. I absolutely love dogs and enjoy giving them attention and affection. My home is very family-oriented, and pets are treated like part of the family. I will be the primary caregiver at all times but there will be tons of love from my family as well. I have a fully enclosed fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, run around, and get fresh air. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks around Uptown or to local parks for exercise, stimulation, and fun. Since I spend most of my time at home, I am able to provide consistent care, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and a calm, loving environment where dogs can feel comfortable and cared for. I provide loving, attentive care for pets both in my home and in my clients’ homes. Since I work from home with a flexible schedule, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, walks, and companionship throughout the day. In my home, pets are treated like family and have a safe, comfortable environment with access to our fully enclosed fenced backyard for exercise and outdoor time. I make sure every dog feels comfortable, secure, and cared for based on their individual personality and needs. I’m available for dog walks, drop-in visits, dog sitting, and boarding. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, anxious, or a senior needing extra patience, I focus on creating a calm, caring experience and keeping pet parents updated for peace of mind.

Ours were so happy—they played, got tired, and socialized more than we ever thought possible. Excellent service, we loved it!”

About: Being around animals brings me a lot of joy. I love discovering their individual personalities because, just like people, every pet is different. When I meet an animal, I pay attention to their energy and let them show me what they need. Some want to play immediately, some are cautious, and some would rather observe from across the room for a while. I’m happy to meet them wherever they are rather than forcing interaction. My Shiba and Malamute have taught me plenty about that. My Malamute is a big-time attention seeker, while my Shiba prefers his personal space (although he occasionally gives in to a cuddle and then mysteriously ends up snoring next to me). 😂 I keep boarding intentionally small so your pet gets the attention they deserve in a calm home environment. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, energetic dogs, shy pets, and animals who need medication or extra patience. Most importantly, I’ll follow the care and routines you want for your pet. You know them best, and I want their stay to feel as comfortable and familiar as possible. Pet care is my full-time focus, so I have flexibility for early mornings, midday visits, overnights, and last-minute requests when available. I’m responsive and happy to work around your pet’s normal routine, including specific feeding, exercise, or medication schedules. My home is calm, non-smoking, and fully fenced. I have two dogs of my own, and I’m experienced with introducing and managing animals thoughtfully so everyone can feel comfortable. I keep boarding intentionally small and pay close attention to each pet’s temperament and needs. Client dogs stay leashed until we’re safely inside, and I don’t take them to dog parks. For house sitting, I treat your home with the same respect I would want for my own. I’ll follow your routines, care for your space, and make sure your pets get the same attention and consistency they’re used to.
About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have had dogs in my life since I was 5 years old. I’ve cared for everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs, and I genuinely love spending time with them. Over the years, I’ve owned multiple dogs and have experience caring for up to 4 dogs at once. Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, feeding, or making sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I currently work from home, so if your dog is staying with me, I’ll be home throughout the day to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship. If you’re booking dog walking or drop-in visits, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to stop by reliably and ensure your pet receives the care they need. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac in a townhome with a fully fenced private patio. My home is equipped with exterior security cameras, as well as an indoor camera that overlooks the main living area for added peace of mind. I enjoy taking dogs on walks through my quiet neighborhood, and there’s also a large fenced park nearby for exercise and play. If your dog is crate-trained, I’m happy to accommodate that routine, and I also have a spare room available if they would benefit from having their own quiet space to relax.

“My Cleo can be a scaredy pup, even after the meet and greet, but Britney was so patient with her. Britney sent adorable photos and let me know that Cleo warmed up to her during the walk. Britney clearly loves animals and has a wonderful spirit - I will definitely be using her services again!”

About: I’ve been a loving dog mom for the past 20 years. I’ve loved and cared for Mochi, our 19 yr old Shih Tzu who recently passed away. I’ve devoted myself to making sure Mochi lived a long and happy life, which he did! Now, with no pets and more free time on my hands, I would absolutely love to care for your fur baby! I’m currently retired and spend most of my time with my grandson. I would love to fit dog boarding into my flexible schedule as I am home a lot of the times. I spend most days with my 4 year old grandson, so the house is very much baby proofed. Dogs are like our children! I’m very mindful about keeping anything toxic or with chemicals on high shelves, toilet seat covers down, and trash bins covered.

About: I have many years of experience with dogs & cats of all sizes. I am very skilled at reading an animal’s comfort level & energy. I would love to help look after your pets! I take some classes at the local college, but otherwise I just work from home For myself so I have a good deal of flexibility. I would love to pop in on your pets & take care of them! I am currently only offering to do drop-ins & dog walks because I have two cats of my own at my home that I don’t want to stress out as they are skittish. I am happy to take your dogs for walks as well as visiting your place to spend some time cuddling, feeding, and caring for all your pets.
About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and grew up on a farm, where I was hands on with daily feeding, cleaning, health checks, and overall care for a wide range of animals. My experience goes beyond household pets and includes livestock and small animals, giving me a strong foundation in animal behavior, safety, and routine based care. Over the years, I’ve worked with and owned dogs, cats, rats, birds, reptiles, and aquatic species. This includes high experience lizards, tortoises and turtles, spiders, and large fish that require specific habitat setups, temperature control, and consistent maintenance. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions for feeding schedules, enclosure cleaning, lighting and heating needs, and handling animals with very different temperaments and routines. My farm experience includes assisting with animal births, such as helping deliver piglets, as well as hatching and raising chickens from chicks. These experiences taught me how to stay calm, observant, and attentive to animals’ needs, especially in situations that require patience, cleanliness, and responsibility. I currently have two well-trained, energetic dogs of my own, so I understand the importance of consistency, structure, enrichment, and safety. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, high-energy dogs, seniors, and pets with unique personalities or established routines. Since my place isn't big enough to have any dogs. I would love to take care of other people's dog or puppy. I'm currently unemployed. Putting together some ideas for new project. Just need to work to keep myself busy with Rover.com. It would fit into my schedule M-F when parents are at work or on vacation. I'm a clean and organized person. I always made sure that my dog was clean and also to potty on command. I like to make sure to give the dog attention and be playful and have training them at the same time.

About: I’ve cared for a Pomeranian for over 10 years and have always loved animals. While working as a nanny, I also cared for cats—feeding, grooming, and spending quality time with them. Friends and families trust me to treat their pets with kindness, patience, and responsibility. I’m familiar with different pet personalities and attentive to their unique needs. I’m available after 6 PM on weekdays and fully available on weekends and holidays. This flexible schedule allows me to provide your pets with plenty of attention, care, and playtime. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I’m gentle, attentive, and respectful of your space and routines. I always follow instructions closely, keep the environment clean, and make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved—whether in your home or mine.

“Valerie is amazing! She’s friendly, communicative and accommodating. My family and I went to disney so we left our chihuahua, Penny, just for the day. Valerie sent us a bunch of updates with photos and videos which put us at ease. She provided such a safe space for Penny who is a small and anxious dog, and went above and beyond to accommodate Penny’s specific needs—she as far as wearing Penny in her carrier the whole day so she felt safe and comforted! Valerie managed to get my shy dog to interact with her other pets, which was a huge win! I highly recommend valerie for any pet sitting needs, and will definitely use her when we travel here in the future (:”

“We left a week for our cruise vacation. Before we sent Leon to Caihua's place, we were a bit worried as it was the very first time that we were away from him this long. However, after the 1st day, we were 100% rest assured that our fur baby was in good hands. Leon was taken outdoor having some chill time every few hours and Caihua sent us updates(videos) frequently, keeping us posted on his eating and sleeping schedule. Leon had a great boarding experience at Caihua's place. When we picked him up, Leon was happy and healthy. We are so appreciated that Caihua took such a good care of our baby! We couldn't ask for a better sitter. Will definitely book with her when needed for our next vacation!”

“Rengang’s whole family took great care of my high energy rescue! They had at least a few family members at home watching the dogs at all times, and all of them shared an amazing love of animals and willingness to fulfill the animals’ needs. They were also very quick to respond to questions with updates and reassurance, and I can tell my dog had a great time boarding. Will be returning for sure!”

“Ani was amazing!! My dog, who has a lot of fear, warmed up so quick so I know she gave him the best care and was super gentle and patient with him! “Steven was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter. My wife and I always have family house/pet sit when we go out of town, so leaving them with a sitter had us a bit anxious. During the meet and greet, Steven immediately put us at ease with his kindhearted and soft nature which made us confident in his ability to provide excellent care. While we were gone, steven provided updates with pictures every day, and we could see that they were happy, relaxed, and enjoying thier time with him. Steven was also very accommodating as far as drop offs and pick ups. We absolutely plan on entrusting steven with our pups again in the future. Thank you, Steven!”

“Selena was sweet and attentive to my boys. They had some separation anxiety as expected but I knew they were in good hands. She even sent pictures to let me know how they were doing.”
