Ive got a great dog (husky mix, good temperament, great on walks, mellow, polite, no potty mistakes, doesnt destroy anything) and I struggle to let people spend time with her unless Im confident the person can maintain the same "rules, boundaries and limitations" that I (try to) do. (i.e., dont disrupt the freakin miracle) So, the big takeaways from my experience boarding the doggy with Grant: Grant communicates very well with his clients (texts and pics/videos), clearly created some kind of relationship with my doggy (totally relaxed, responded to Grant's voice), and has the type of property and pack where you know your dog is loving life (even if it upsets you that Grant would send you evidence that your dog can have such a good time without you). Most importantly to me, while my doggy was happy to see me when I picked her up (bc she's a good girl!), she was not particularly interested to leave bc she wanted to nose her new bestie from Grant's pack. So positive for me to know that she was safe and see she was having fun.”

About: I don’t have much experience with taking care of cats. Most of my friends do own cats and so always hang out with them. I have volunteered at Fat Kitty City where there are a multitude of cats that I feed.
About: When I was little, my next-door neighbor relied on me to take care of her old cat for weeks at a time! As I’ve grown and started my journey in the animal health field, I’ve been pet-sitting for the veterinarian at the clinic I used to work at- who owns cats that require a specific diet, and one who requires insulin injections and medication! About: I am a retired Dental Assistant and very active! We have ALWAYS had dogs. I have 3 grown children and each one had a beautiful Golden Retriever. Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”

About: Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always been surrounded by animals! My next-door neighbor would trust me for weeks at a time to take care of her old cat, and I would always take care of my pets when my parents weren’t home. Over the past year and a half, I worked at a local veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant! I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages. About: I’ve always been an animal lover. I’ve had pets since I can remember, I’ve fostered, trained and pet sit all the time. I have experience with dogs anywhere from puppies to seniors. “Sixuan was incredibly attentive, following all of my feeding instructions to the letter, taking Andi on regular walks, and ensuring she had her potty breaks every three hours or so. Coming home to find Andi looking so happy relaxed and healthy gave me total peace of mind. She sent regular pictures with updates about her welfare . “Chong was great! She took great care of my 3 y/o Goldendoodle Maggie. Maggie needs special supervision since she has a habit of getting into socks and other items. Chong was very diligent about keeping an eye on Maggie and keeps a very clean home, which gave me confidence that Maggie was set up for success.
