“Taylor and Andrew took great care of our dogs. They sent plenty of pictures and updates about how they were doing, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable sitter!”

“I was a little scarred with my first booking on rover, but then I found Madison and I’m so happy I did! They were so kind, always kept me updated with photos and videos, showed me the area where the dogs would play before dropping my baby off, and even accommodated a last minute extra night. Will be booking with them again! 💙💙💙”

“This was my dog’s first time ever staying with a sitter and my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous. She kept me updated with messages and photos throughout the stay, which gave me peace of mind. When my flight was delayed, she was very flexible and gladly extended the booking. Leo was in great hands, and I’d definitely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Super grateful for Jasmine! She took a last minute booking for our dog over the holiday weekend so we could visit family. Communication was great, and our dog came home happy and well cared for. Will definitely use them again in the future.”

About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. We have raised our girls with many pets including: chickens, bunnies, several foster and adopted dogs, and rescuing cats that would have been euthanized to live on our farm. We have 1 acre of fully fenced yard in a cozy community. We recently had to put down our sweet pit bull and are looking to opening up our homes to care for others pets at this time. We have a lot of love to give and would appreciate your consideration. I work from home so I am available all day and night excluding of course picking up kids and family activities. We have 4 daughters, 2 of which have graduated high school and in college, 1 going into high school and a 9 year old. They have all had extensive experience with many animals and been involved with agriculture in their middle and high schools. We presently have 2 cats (one of which is fully outdoor and one that comes in at night to sleep). We understand that many individuals have cats that are fully indoor and we have ample space, beds and furniture for your cat to feel comfortable. We are also BIG dog people and missing our sweet pit bull. We have a great neighborhood for taking walks, a 1 acre fully fenced yard for running and playing in. We will keep all cats indoors at all times. We will have any animals that stay with us in our home at night and have dogs go out frequently to play.

“Nate And Ray were awesome.... Both Millie and Spuds had a good time and got much-needed socialization with NEW dogs. They have a clean home and yard which is something that was important to me. You can tell immediately that the dogs felt comfortable around them. Receiving photos of the dogs while we were away was an added bonus, allowing us to relax. I would definitely use them again. Good people, sweet house dogs and they did everything they said they would.”

“Savannah took great care of my pooches. This was the first time being apart from them overnight, so I was a little nervous. She gave several update pics and made sure my two were comfortable and didn't stress about being away from me. One of them is pretty reactive to other dogs, but her and husband were able to walk both pooches without any issues. I look forward to booking with Savannah again in the future.”

“Terri is a true animal lover. She cared for my dog Lucy over the weekend. She took Lucy for plenty of walks and even took her to the lake a couple times. Baked her some dog treats and even sent her home with a batch. Plenty of pictures. We are very pleased.”

“We were referred by a friend to Cameron. It was our first time boarding Lilo, so we were nervous and asked lots of questions. Cameron was quick in response and addressed my questions with patience. He sent videos regularly so that we knew our girl was having fun and brought us peace in mind!”

“So kind to our pups and made it so easy to coordinate. Super fast response times and sent lots of pics while the pups were with them. They even sent them home with cute bandanas that we will cherish always. Amazing care takers!”

“Rippley and Biscuit loved Kaitlin and Verle! I was so happy to see how relaxed my reactive and senior puppers were at a new location. The pictures they sent me of the dogs in full potato mode assured me that they felt right at home.”

“I wish there was an option to give 10 stars because Dustin and Crystal deserve it! They took amazing care of my senior beagle who requires a lot more attention because of her age. They loved on her and made sure she was comfortable. I got daily updates and photos which was so reassuring that my dog was having a great time. Best of all, I let them know that my dog would having her 16th birthday while she was with them. They went above and beyond to celebrate my pup with treats, doggy ice cream, and even sang happy birthday to her! I am completely blown away at the amazing care they gave my dog. I will rebook with them in a heartbeat.”

“Berenice treated Jasper like family. He came back so happy… and exhausted from all the play with her dogs. Hi could tell by the photos and updates that he really loved her and her family. Thanks for taking such great care of our boy!”

“I don’t know why Kathy doesn’t have any reviews because she’s the best! This is saying a lot for someone who doesn’t usually leave reviews. I booked her for a week while my family and I went on a vacation out of state. She is very honest, transparent, communicative, attentive, patient, and thorough with her care of our 3 cats. Not only did she make sure my cats are well-nourished and attended for, she also respected my house rules (for our privacy) which I greatly appreciate. Will definitely book her again. Thank you very much, Kathy!”

“Katelyn, did a great job respecting boundaries if your pet is scared or warry and is willing if asked, to get your pet comfortable with her if there specific requests your pet needs.”

“Jordan was amazing! Our cat was clearly very well attended to, and it showed. Never before have we gone on a trip and NOT been violently accosted upon entering our home. Ginger is usually not satisfied until she has drawn my blood, and she is instead purring and headbutting me lovingly. Only affection from this fuzzy demon, which means she was well looked after.”

“We were fortunate to have Trinity come to our house each morning for almost 3 weeks to care for our two cats. It was best to keep the cats at home and comfortable in their routines rather than traveling to a facility. Trinity checked in each morning and sent pics to me from each visit and that helped put me at ease. All went well and when we travel again, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact River and ask for Trinity again. Thanks Trinity!”

“Melissa did a great job taking care of Daisy. This was her first time being watched by a cat sitter alone since our sweet Elmer passed away. Melissa made sure to find her every visit and send me pictures of her hiding spots. She was very communicative every step of the way and it was a huge relief for me to be able to rely on her to look after Daisy while I was gone.”

About: Hello! My name is Angelina and I’ve had cats my whole life! I’ve definitely seen it all from having to give insulin shots to inhalers to mood shifts from family members leaving to the service. So I’d love to say I’m well versed in the craziness of cats. I’m big on love and snacks along with if your baby needs any medications while she’s here. You can count on me! Best, Angelina Darling

“Loren is amazing. Every day she sent photos and messages about my cats. She gave me peace of mind that my animals were in the best of care. So important, when you're away. Plus, she went over and beyond my expectations. Thank you, Loren.”

“Highly Recommend! We have been having Shelby and Dalton look after our indoor/outdoor cats (Shag and Tiki) for a couple of years now and have always been so pleased with their level of care.”

“Maureen is beyond helpful, kind and knowledgeable when it came to taking care of my cat Kolo. I received very detailed updates on how he was doing and many useful pieces of information to better take care and make him more comfortable. Maureen really went out of her way to make Kolo feel comfortable, and even brought him toys, treats and a gift that I will cherish for a long time. I will be using her services again and feel very blessed to have had her take care of my cat. Would highly recommend to anyone!!”

“Madison & Moses are awesome! So easy to communicate with and both have a great, calm energy that was perfect for helping my shy, anxious, rescue pittie feel right at home. It’s clear they’re both well-versed in dog behavior and I appreciate that they met my dog right where she was at. They had no issues giving her the time, space and patience needed to open up in her own time - it made all the difference. Thankful to have found them!”

About: Hi! I'm new to the Rover app, but I'm not new to caring for animals. I've always had a natural connection with animals and they seem to gravitate toward me wherever I go. I’m a stay at home mom of a 3 and 5 year old so I am always home and always active and my fiance is home while I run errands. We have a decent size fenced yard where your animal can get some energy out while staying safe. I truly believe animals are family, and I care for every pet as if they were my own child. I'm highly communicative, reliable, and genuinely empathetic. I pay close attention to each pet's unique personality and needs, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, or just having a calm companion, I'll make sure they receive the care and attention they deserve. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member. That's why I'll keep you updated with plenty of photos, videos, and messages throughout each visit, so you always know how your pet is doing and can enjoy those special moments even while you're apart. If you're a busy family looking for a dependable dog walker or pet sitter who will treat your pet with patience, kindness, and lots of love, I'd be honored to help. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend! I am a mom of two girls. I have a flexible schedule and I’m willing to do whatever’s necessary to make sure your pet is taken care of. Just message me 😊 I make sure the dog goes outside to use the bathroom . Make sure the food and water bowl is always fresh and full. Engage and play with your pet. Chill, lay down, and watch tv together. I absolutely love playing tug of war with dogs so make sure to pack that toy in their overnight bag LOL. “Shelby and Dalton are the best! They are so responsive and accommodating!! Literally lifesavers, I work really long hours and my husband, who usually watches our dog during the day, had to travel for work last minute. Shelby and Dalton agreed to watch my pup on one of my long days and were so understanding and flexible when I had to pick her up later in the evening - truly I don’t know what I would’ve done without them! They treated her as if she were their own and she LOVED playing with their sweet pup and cuddling with one of the cats, and I got lots of updates and pictures throughout the day. About: Growing up I have always had dogs on the property and consider them part of the family. I believe a well trained dog is loved by its owner. I am an animal lover who want to help those who have a hard time with placement. I enjoy spending time with other people's pets because I am unable to have one for myself at this time. I am currently retired so I have time to spend with them daily. I can take them to parks, beach, lakes, etc. Depends on breed and how active they are. I have aquariums, reptiles and my extended family has dogs that I am frequently around. I have had exotic, elderly, injured and sick pets in my care. I foster for the Humane Society periodically and adjust my home according to the pets needs.

About: I’ve had a guinea pig, a bunny, and 2 dogs. I’ve always been an animal person. And I help my friends out by taking care of there pets. It depends on the my work day sense I do freelance contracting for production work. But I would have to what day you would want to book me for and times. It depends on how friendly the animal is and how many days I am pet sitting for. But I will feed, bathe, play and be around to watch what they do.
About: I have been taking care of animals for about 10 years and counting. My family has been fostering dogs, of all ages and breeds, since before I can remember. I was taught how to properly care for animals over the years. I am knowledgeable on what your pet needs and ready to care for them while you are away. I’m currently on summer break from school, so I have plenty of time to care for your pet! Very open and flexible availability. Starting the 24th my schedule will change, but my availability will be consistent and will remain flexible. While I am currently not able to care for pets in my own home, I will make sure to clearly communicate with you in order to make sure your needs are met.
About: I've grown up with cats since I was 8 and began petsitting for people in my 1st couple years of college around 2015. I've done both dogsitting and catsitting for people and I love both animals equally! I have petsat for people with animals of all ages, with the youngest dog I have watched being about 8-10 months and the oldest being about 14 or 15. I love exploring new places and being outdoors especially since I live in one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. with the best weather! I find it equally enjoyable to see a dog smile and to see him/her bring joy to their owner and to people around them. I love to see how dogs can bring people together and get people to connect who would otherwise likely never talk to each other. I genuinely enjoy helping others and caring for pets really is its own kind of therapy! I will always clean up after pets even if its raining or if the dog wants to rush off and I have to step on the leash to keep him/her from taking off. I live by the golden rule and will do what I can to hold people accountable for pets that aren't being taken care of and/or cleaned up after. I'm currently working part time at San Diego Community College district as an Educational Coach with a students who are special needs or neurodivergent student population. I work about 17-19 hours a week for that job and am typically away from the home for 5 hours a day or less on Mon-Thurs depending on the day and number of students I'm meeting with. Some administrative tasks for my school job can be done remotely. I want to do more dog-walking and housesitting because it motivates me to stay active and foster connections with animals that my current living situation doesn't allow for. I also love hearing people's pet rescue stories and funny stories because each pet has its own personality and leaves pawprints on others hearts and lives! I love spending time with pets by throwing them their favorite toy and cuddling with them on the couch or bed. I also care for them by taking them for walks or finding the perfect new toy from an old volleyball, piece of rope, or other seemingly random objects that pets decide to take a liking to. Its interesting to see what they choose and of course there are limits there of things that should not be considered due to being hazardous due to being a choking hazard, but I'm all about finding new ways for them to have fun. I will feed them as often as you need and I have also given a dog its pills disguised in peanut butter or in its kibble a few times. If your animal is only allowed in parts of the house or yard I will keep the pens up and only allow it out as directed. I will provide them water as well as with treats or dental chews as preferred. I will take dogs out to use the bathroom as often as I am able, typically once every couple hours while I'm home and once every few hours if I'm going out. Feel free to reach out via text to clarify this, especially if your pet has specific needs or needs to be taken out more frequently to use the restroom.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I learned how to wash dishes! I’ve walked dogs and puppies from 10lbs to larger dogs of 120lbs + When I spend time with animals, even in short amounts of times, special bonds are formed. Both parties just have a blast to be honest. I’ve wanted to be a Veterinarian my whole life but as things have changed this is the closest thing to it. I hope you’ll choose me as your trusted sitter! I’m currently in the military Active Duty Shore. I do drop in visits around lunch time, and I’m up early in the morning for early morning walks and feedings before work starts on weekdays. After 4pm we play, go for walks, eat and play again. On weekends I’m available whenever. Sundays mornings are exceptions, being that I attend church. I only take care of crate trained animals in my home. Animals who are potty trained, and nothing bigger than 25lbs. I do live in a gated community with plenty of room to walk and run around outdoors. I also have a spacious living room and dining room area with no furniture. Spacious for small animals, their crates, and their zoomies! I do not have any pets or children. When it comes to clients homes, I clean when needed. And I stick to whatever schedule I’ve been given.
About: I’m a lifelong pet owner with experience caring for both dogs and cats, and I treat every animal like my own. I’m patient, attentive, and reliable with daily routines like walks, feeding schedules, playtime, litter care, and keeping pets comfortable while you’re away. I’m great with shy cats, energetic dogs, and making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and stress-free. I’m available Monday through Thursday, with open availability every other Thursday at any time of day, which gives me flexibility for walks, drop-ins, or longer visits.

“Bailey was extremely accommodating and communicative! She took excellent care of our dogs and gave us regular updates about how they were doing. Our pets came back happy and healthy!”

“Charlie and Shanna took great care of our pups. They are super responsive, really attentive and so kind. Shanna greeted us when we dropped off and picked up our dogs and made us feel really confident that our pups would be cared for. We got lots of pictures during their stay too!”
