Once there was somewhat of a separation issue for her, but now Mosel is most comfortable with staying, knowing she is in good hands. One couldn't ask for a better 'sitter' than here at Walee's home. Mosel is very happy to stay with her and is well taken care of. Walee sends us daily progress reports and photos of Mosel playing, sleeping, eating and just hanging out with the other dogs. My very first pet was my childhood cat, who I got when I was 2 years old and who lived with me for 17 wonderful years before crossing the rainbow bridge. About: I grew up with dogs and had my own in early adulthood, but circumstances have been such that I can't have one of my own right now. That doesn't stop me from loving on dogs! I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including those with special diets. I have a lot of flexibility at the moment and can be sure your dog gets walked early in the morning or in the evening to avoid the heat. I love to walk and will be happy to ensure your dog gets plenty of exercise. I have a fenced yard and no pets of my own. “Michelle was great with my dog Oakley! I was so thankful she was able to take him on short notice and accommodate whatever we needed... Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”

Sara asked for his vaccinations records to make sure no dog would get sick, which was very reassuring to us. “Robert is fabulous!! I came to the area for a one month contract job. While driving across country, my 15 year old Chihuahua was grabbed by a big dog and was injured. Dixie could barely walk and had to go to two ERs along the way for care. Being under contract I HAD to start working and couldn't leave her alone or with other pets. I found Robert who happens to be between dogs. He was perfect. Cared for her with her unique needs of having to be picked up and even gave her the medicine she needed during the day. I got reassuring pics and was so relieved to find such a loving place to leave my "special needs" pup. Thank God for Rover and for Robert!”

We're located near plenty of dog parks and hiking trails which we visit nearly every weekend. I love spending time outdoors so your doggo will get plenty of exercise. About: I have always had dogs/animals. We have 5 dogs of our own. We also foster with a local rescue. We specialize in the squish face breeds. We completely understand climate control. We love to exercise outside and go out often to romp. I am currently working remote part of the time (office days are Tues/Thurs). We typically always have someone home and the dogs are likely never alone for more than a 2-3 hour period. Our dogs are very friendly and love to play! We do not have a fenced yard, so our preference would be dogs that are not a flight risk! We can use a flexi leash for potty breaks but that would limit outside play for our guests. We live on 2.5 acres with a lot of grass to romp and play. Our dogs do not go outside unless supervised.

About: I have taken care of dogs for the past 5 years or so by myself. Growing up my parents watched dogs for friends and family every so often. We also had a border collie mix of our own for 15 years and I was responsible for taking care of him. I currently work M-Th; 9am-5pm but fairly free before or after work for walks and playtime. I tend to get up early on work days but a night owl on the weekends. I enjoy getting out on the weekends like going on walks with hikes. I currently do not have fenced in hard but I do have a large grass area right outside my house that is dog friendly and is great for playtime and even doggie pool time.

I have been fostering the last 2 years with German Shepherd dogs as well as puppies. This company is the Sierra Nevada German Shepherd Rescue located in the el dorado hills area. I currently own a golden retriever and a rescued German shepherd/golden retriever mix, who have gotten along with all fostered dogs. I have a large backyard with a pool, and teach each dog basic commands, as well as an education as a dog groomer.
