We decided to do an initial meet-and-greet beforehand so we could get to know Cecilia and Ethan and make sure they were the right fit, and I’m so glad we did! I shared a detailed care guide with them, and they followed everything to a tee. They were incredibly responsible, attentive, and responsive throughout our entire trip. They also went above and beyond by taking our dogs out to the lake and even to Monterey! We received lots of photos and videos every day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. About: We’ve had pets all our lives. Currently, we have two cats. For the most part, someone is always WFH. The only day one of us isn’t WFH is Thursday. If we know early enough, we can flex our schedules if any sitting is needed on Thursday. We’ve watched bunnies, cats, and dogs for friends/family including giving medication. We have had no aggression from our pets with the pets we’ve watched. We have a second room(atm being used as an office/guest room), so if you want your pet separate from ours pets, that is something we can accommodate. For dogs during boarding, our household prefers dogs that tend to ignore our cats. Also, we have a preference for senior dogs since they tend to be low energy and do not require long walks to use the restroom. For cats, we have experience with all kinds of energy and ages. If you have a cat with a lot of energy, our Taro girl has shown that she loves playing with all the energetic kitties and helps them come out of their shell. However, both our cats can adapt to senior cats as they both love to lounge. We are willing to negotiate our prices if you believe your pet to be low maintenance or if for example doggy daycare, your pet would be with us for less than 7 hours. Just ask and we can see what we can do during the meet and greet. There is usually always someone at home except Thursday. If you need sitting help on a Thursday, reach out early and we can see about flexing our WFH schedule for that week. One of us is a morning person and the other an evening person in case you have a pet with a weird schedule. We ask for a clear schedule such as when to walk and feed and follow it. This information will always vary depending on the pet or even if they are on medication. For all pets, we’ve given them some space, especially from our pets and seen if they can interact or not depending on what their owners want. We also try to incorporate playtime if they want that.

About: I love all animals! I have two Persian cats myself named Tofu and Honey, and prior to my current cats I had another cat for several years. I have lots of experience taking care of cats since I have owned 3 total. Additionally, I had a dog growing up as well prior to owning cats so I have experience with dogs too. I love pets so much and meeting new furry friends! I’d love to drop in to feed your pets or walk your dog. I’m currently working part time, so on the select days in my availability I have free time in my schedule. On those specific days I have time to drop in and play with/feed your pets or walk your dog. In my own household, I ensure my cats are safe and happy in many different ways. I make sure that there isn’t any random food, scraps, or hairballs lying around by vacuuming a lot, since those can cause upset stomachs. I also make sure my cats eat a balanced diet. I clean my cats eyes and brush their fur daily (since my cats are long haired). I also brush their teeth and clean their ears at least once a week to maintain hygiene. I also make sure they have scratchers everywhere so they don’t claw my things and that they have something to scratch. I try to play with my cats at least once a day with toys but since my cats are adults they like to sleep more often. I give treats here and there after grooming time. In terms of safety or danger precautions I treat my home as if there are babies and I need to make sure everything is in order to prevent accidents.

Drop-In Visits & Dog Walking: • can schedule a meet & greet prior to booking • I accept same-day bookings • I require a 1-day advance notice for cancellations I’ll follow any instructions and safety precautions required - in terms of diet restrictions, using crates, or keeping pet(s) indoors. When walking outside the home, I will always keep your dog(s) on a leash to avoid any unexpected situations. I’ll be mindful avoiding other dogs and heavily trafficked areas to ensure safety. I tend to walk in the morning and afternoon when it’s not too hot on their paws. I carry a portable water bowl to keep hydrated and medical pet kit with me at all times. I will stay in constant communication with pet owner(s) on their pets’ activity through the Rover app or by text. Please provide me with any emergency contacts and safety instructions you would like me to follow in case of an emergency or natural disaster arises. I use Uber to get around, Uber also offers a pet-friendly service if needed. I can provide daily dog walks around the neighborhood, go to a local park, &/or play in the backyard.

I really appreciated how Xiaokun followed our instructions and had great communication, especially when we boarded our pup shortly after her spay surgery. Also loved that on the doggy day care days he took our pup on awesome hikes/walks and sent pics for our peace of mind. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old, and own a small maltipoodle who loves to go on walk and meet people. I can provide excellent care for all pet breeds of different sizes. Throughout the day, I can care for another pet within the house and also allow them to stay within the backyard. I could send updates and fulfill requests of owners to provide fresh water, treats, or preparing meals.
