“I am happy we found Xiaokun. Our foster fail puppy who is a 6 month German Shepherd went to him for multiple doggy day care days and one boarding visit. She came back each time happy and tired. I really appreciated how Xiaokun followed our instructions and had great communication, especially when we boarded our pup shortly after her spay surgery. Also loved that on the doggy day care days he took our pup on awesome hikes/walks and sent pics for our peace of mind. “This was our first time using Rover to find someone to check in on, feed, and care for our cat, Potato, while we were traveling outside the country for two weeks. We were a little nervous leaving him for that long, but Chenqi (and her husband, Zhaohan) made the entire experience easy and worry-free. Every day, they arrived reliably, fed Potato, cleaned his litter box, refreshed his water, and even spent time playing with him so he wouldn't feel so lonely while we were away. It was clear they genuinely cared about his well-being and weren't just stopping by to complete a checklist. Chenqi and Zhaohan were also excellent communicators. About: We’ve had pets all our lives. Currently, we have two cats. For the most part, someone is always WFH. The only day one of us isn’t WFH is Thursday. If we know early enough, we can flex our schedules if any sitting is needed on Thursday. We’ve watched bunnies, cats, and dogs for friends/family including giving medication. We have had no aggression from our pets with the pets we’ve watched. We have a second room(atm being used as an office/guest room), so if you want your pet separate from ours pets, that is something we can accommodate. For dogs during boarding, our household prefers dogs that tend to ignore our cats. Also, we have a preference for senior dogs since they tend to be low energy and do not require long walks to use the restroom. For cats, we have experience with all kinds of energy and ages. If you have a cat with a lot of energy, our Taro girl has shown that she loves playing with all the energetic kitties and helps them come out of their shell. However, both our cats can adapt to senior cats as they both love to lounge. We are willing to negotiate our prices if you believe your pet to be low maintenance or if for example doggy daycare, your pet would be with us for less than 7 hours. Just ask and we can see what we can do during the meet and greet. There is usually always someone at home except Thursday. If you need sitting help on a Thursday, reach out early and we can see about flexing our WFH schedule for that week. One of us is a morning person and the other an evening person in case you have a pet with a weird schedule. We ask for a clear schedule such as when to walk and feed and follow it. This information will always vary depending on the pet or even if they are on medication. For all pets, we’ve given them some space, especially from our pets and seen if they can interact or not depending on what their owners want. We also try to incorporate playtime if they want that.

When walking outside the home, I will always keep your dog(s) on a leash to avoid any unexpected situations. I’ll be mindful avoiding other dogs and heavily trafficked areas to ensure safety. I tend to walk in the morning and afternoon when it’s not too hot on their paws. I carry a portable water bowl to keep hydrated and medical pet kit with me at all times. I will stay in constant communication with pet owner(s) on their pets’ activity through the Rover app or by text. Please provide me with any emergency contacts and safety instructions you would like me to follow in case of an emergency or natural disaster arises. I use Uber to get around, Uber also offers a pet-friendly service if needed. I can provide daily dog walks around the neighborhood, go to a local park, &/or play in the backyard.

About: I love all animals! I have two Persian cats myself named Tofu and Honey, and prior to my current cats I had another cat for several years. I have lots of experience taking care of cats since I have owned 3 total. Additionally, I had a dog growing up as well prior to owning cats so I have experience with dogs too. I love pets so much and meeting new furry friends! I’d love to drop in to feed your pets or walk your dog. I’m currently working part time, so on the select days in my availability I have free time in my schedule. On those specific days I have time to drop in and play with/feed your pets or walk your dog. In my own household, I ensure my cats are safe and happy in many different ways. I make sure that there isn’t any random food, scraps, or hairballs lying around by vacuuming a lot, since those can cause upset stomachs. I also make sure my cats eat a balanced diet. I clean my cats eyes and brush their fur daily (since my cats are long haired). I also brush their teeth and clean their ears at least once a week to maintain hygiene. I also make sure they have scratchers everywhere so they don’t claw my things and that they have something to scratch. I try to play with my cats at least once a day with toys but since my cats are adults they like to sleep more often. I give treats here and there after grooming time. In terms of safety or danger precautions I treat my home as if there are babies and I need to make sure everything is in order to prevent accidents.

Please bring your own bed so that your dog can have something he/she is familiar with in a new environment. **Meals** 2~3 meals a day based on your dog's diet. We know some dogs have their favorite food, so please bring your meal and treat. **Environment** Fenced backyard. **Safety** Most importantly, we must ensure those two little guys get along.
