“I can not say thank you enough! Great people, friendly dogs, nice home environment! First time using Rover, noticed right off the bat great reviews and returning clients! Sophia and her family including her fur babies were very welcoming when first meeting and I instantly felt comfortable and reassured my baby would be well cared for and she was! Definitely will be having a play date again! Thank you so much!!!”

“Jody is so sweet and took such good care of Koda. He got lots of love from her and her family. When we picked him up he seemed like he didn’t even want to go home, he was enjoying it so much. She even washed his doggie bed.♥️ Jody’s location is perfect for us since we need to pass her house on the way to the airport. We will definitely choose Jody again to take care of our Koda.”

“Kristin was a great caregiver for our 11 year old dog who tends to be very anxious when she’s in a new environment. She was very caring and nurturing with our girl and sent us updates and pictures while we were away. We highly recommend her to care for your fur baby!”

About: I have been involved with dogs since I was 12 years old when I started raising Guide Dogs for the blind. After that I worked at a kennel/training facility for 6 years, then became a dog groomer for 10 years as well as went back to more kennel work. I also breed and show border collies and train them for a variety of different events. To say my live revolves around my dogs is an understatement. I have been working with dogs for over 30 years in a variety of aspects. I work from home 8-4:30 with a lunch break. I am able to check on your pups before and after work and even on my lunch break depending on the proximity of our homes. In my home my dogs are indoors with me during the day. They go outside for 20 minutes every hour (supervised only). During they day they have their own dog room next to the living room where I work. Toys beds and crates fill their area. I treat your dog just like one of my own when they are with me. Our dogs sleep in our room with us as well. In your home its your rules and what you need out of a sitter. I would ideally like to take your dog outside to play or for a walk (if that is what they would like). Really it's about the dog and trying to keep a normal routine.
“My regular Rover sitter was unavailable so I carefully read through the profiles of other Rover sitters. Lenore caught my eye because she is the dog owner of the same breed as my dogs. I texted her and she responded immediately. She was very friendly and we spoke on the phone. She made me feel very comfortable about leaving my pups with her. My dogs don’t get to socialize much with other dogs and this was the perfect opportunity. She texted me pics of my pups and communicated with me regularly. I along with my pups are very pleased and will be using Lenore again…???”

About: I’ve retired from my role as Director of Student Housing at CSU, Bakersfield. I’m an active CrossFit coach with lots of flexible time - and I love dogs! I really am an expert dog care provider and take care of them mindfully and lovingly. I’ve cared for the animals of loved ones for over 20 years. I’ve also helped care for difficult to handle dogs (seniors, aggressive large breeds, small ornery breeds) and loved every minute of it❤️. I had my Maltese/yorkie boy Yanni 20 years before he passed a few years ago. I’ve also assisted in training rescued, often aggressive bully breeds. Unfortunately, I am allergic to cats. So, I do not work with any cats or households that have a cat. I am a personal trainer and CrossFit coach for people over 50. I have a 17 year old daughter who loves all animals. I have flexibility, transportation, and time to give. We don’t have dogs of our own at this time. I have a fenced patio area, but I love to walk dogs. I am an attentive, responsible, loving caretaker who will happily take care of all your lovie’s need as you instruct. I can give medication and maintain any schedule or rules that you have at home. We don’t let dogs jump up on our furniture and we’ve found as long as they have a comfy spot they generally don’t protest.
About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 14 years old for neighbors, family, etc. I've always had several pups in my home at a time because they're my little babies. All of my dogs have been very well trained and follow directions extremely well! I'm currently a full time student but all my classes are scheduled for Tue/Thurs, and I work part time from home on my off days as a lash tech. I make my own schedule so I have PLENTY of free time to care for your pups! Because I am home all week for the most part I hang out with the dogs all day everyday so no need to worry about your fur baby getting lonely! We'll cuddle and watch tv. Regular potty breaks are taken, my two dogs are on a bathroom schedule, they go first thing in the morning, once or twice in the afternoon, and once before bed. Other pups that I have taken care of seem to catch on to our schedule very quickly and have no problems with it! If there is a time where I do need to leave to go do a grocery pick up or anything like that I let the dogs sleep on the couch while I'm gone, but I do have a crate present just in case I do need to put the pup up if they don't do well being left out of the crate with no supervision.
“A great dog sitter, would definitely book again, always available to communicate. I got pictures of my sweet dog during the duration of her stay. But the most important thing was that my dog was happy and wanted to continue to play with Karl’s dogs when leaving. This made me feel that she was so comfortable being there at his house with his dogs.”

“Kristine is very professional working with our dog. She was gentle and careing and our dog became very close to her. Kristine was always attentive and on time. She was a blessing when I had an extended business meeting she was able to return and cover for me. In the future I would recommend hiring her again.thank you.”

“June, You are a godsend!!! Thank you a million times over. With two new rescue cats who have been traumatized you were able to pet them and help me get Pebbles who hisses nonstop into their carriers. Your calming demeanor and compassion is seldom seen these days. Thank you for all that you did to make my kitties feel safe. I am now so spoiled. I won’t be using anyone but you in the future! Donna”

“Joeline was great, she's very attentive and caring when it came to Duquesa. She made sure she got the love and attention she deserves while I was gone. She fed and took care of her like she was family. Thank you so much I highly appreciate you.”

“I am pleased to write this positive review of our pet sitter, Kimberly. I scheduled Kimberly to come to our home and do two drop-in visits each day we were out of town. We have two ten-year-old cats, and I am guilty of spoiling them all the time. Kimberly showed up at our home on time every day. She provided detailed notes and pictures of my cats. I tend to be nervous; however, Kimberly was so thoughtful with her description of taking care of my cats, as well as the pictures, I had absolutely no reason to be concerned. We are going out of town for an entire week in the near future, and I have already confirmed I will be booking her through Rover again. I feel lucky I can travel without worrying about my fur babies. Please don't hesitate to hire Kimberly! She's a gem; She's kind, professional, thoughtful, and takes pride in her work. We feel blessed to have met her and her lovely little daughter.”

About: Hello! 😊 I’ve cared for cats throughout my life and currently have a cat of my own, Binx! He loves to lick and play-bite—just like he did as a kitten—which has helped me become very comfortable reading feline body language and understanding the unique behaviors and personalities that make every cat special. I’m very good with cats, and they often seem to gravitate toward me. I truly enjoy earning their trust and creating a calm, comfortable environment where they feel safe and cared for. One of my favorite things about animals is that each one has their own distinct personality, bringing so much joy, humor, and companionship into our lives. I am fully available and offer flexible scheduling to meet my clients’ needs. Whether your cat is playful and social or more independent and reserved, I’m attentive to their individual preferences and routines. My goal is always to make sure they feel secure, loved, and comfortable in their home environment. During visits, I provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship and affection, I treat every cat as if they were my own. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! Thank you, Melissa

About: I have been around and handling animals my whole life. Big or small doesn’t make a difference to me. You can have 1 or 100 the more the merrier I’ve always said. I have experience with young big puppies and wait for you in the darkness to trip you cats. The “ excuse me may I have one more treat” horse to the parkour off you and everything goat. The sneaky kitties get caught redded pawed and the blubbering hounds sing with joy. I just moved back to Santa Clarita after living in Texas for 9 years. I’m currently doing handyman freelance work so I have a pretty open and flexible schedule. I try my best to make it seam like you’re not even gone by keeping to your pets normal scheduled routine and activities. That includes walks, feedings, medication, playtime, outside time a long with lots snuggles and plenty of treats (if allowed)

About: I’m a dedicated 21 year old dog lover who currently cares for two rescued female puppies. They are friendly and fixed :) Raising young shelter dogs has given me hands-on experience with puppy routines, socialization, basic training, exercise, and lots of patience. I understand the importance of consistency, positive reinforcement, and creating a safe, comfortable environment for pets. Growing up, I also owned a Chihuahua and spent time dog walking for others ever since I was a kid, which helped me learn how to work with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’m comfortable with active puppies, shy dogs, and dogs that need extra attention and reassurance. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your dog needs playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply a caring companion while you're away, I’m committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I currently work part-time as a delivery driver, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to stay close to home throughout the day. Because of that, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention. I care for my own two young dogs every day, so pet care is already a major part of my routine. When I'm not working, I spend time walking, training, playing with, and caring for them. My flexible schedule allows me to adjust my day around the needs of the pets in my care and make sure they receive the attention, supervision, and affection they deserve. Safety is my top priority when caring for pets. In my home, dogs have access to a large, securely fenced yard where they can play, exercise, and explore safely under supervision. I also have a large crate available for dogs who are crate-trained or need a quiet place to relax. If a dog needs their own space, I can separate them using a dog gate and provide a comfortable area in my home where they can rest safely. I always monitor interactions between pets and make sure each dog is comfortable and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special instructions. I believe consistency helps pets feel secure and comfortable while their owners are away. My goal is to provide a safe, calm, and caring environment where every pet feels at home.
About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life. Growing up, my parents bred small litters of dogs, so I was hands-on from the very beginning—assisting with feeding, socialization, early training, and daily care. Our dogs were true members of the family, and that experience taught me the patience, responsibility, and deep compassion animals deserve. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I intentionally create time for it. I prioritize structure, consistency, and presence when caring for animals. Whether it’s morning feedings, midday check-ins, afternoon walks, or evening playtime, I plan my schedule to ensure pets receive attention, exercise, and companionship—not just quick visits. I’m reliable, punctual, and communicative, and I provide regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing Safety and trust are my top priorities. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, routines, medications, and boundaries. I respect your space as if it were my own and keep everything clean and secure.

About: I have dealt with many different pet personalities and genuinely care about their needs. I aim to give your four-legged friends the attention they deserve. I believe that a dog should have the ability to see what outside looks like, and visit different areas such as parks. I also believe that all pets act a certain way for a reason, and shouldn't be yelled at, or treated badly if they aren't 'easy-going' or 'social'. Personally, my love for pets started when I got my first dog as five years old. Named him Rocky after the boxer, Rocky Balboa. Unfortunately, he passed away two years ago from old age. He was blind, but he still recognized my voice...which was pretty amazing. Rocky showed me that a dog could truly be a man's best friend. I pledge to give the upmost care to your best friend. I currently work from home, so I will have plenty of time to play, walk, and give your pet the love they need while you’re away. I will carefully review your instructions in order to provide the best and safest environment for your pet(s). My services will be provided at a level that gives you and your pet maximum comfort.
About: I would love to take care of your dog or cat for you. I work from home so I'm able to spend lots of time with them. I had 2 dogs and 2 cats in the past, one of my dogs I had for 14 years. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Excited to meet your little buddy! I work from home and have a flexible schedule so I can spend lots of time with your pet. Available all week including weekends and overnight stays. I let the animals roam the house, offer lots of petting and cuddles and can take dogs for several walks a day. Feel free to provide any special care instructions.

“Frances was a great boarder for our 2 bigger dogs, they came home happy and healthy with no issues what so ever. We look forward to using Frances again and again for a care free local boarding and affordable service that was highly recommended by our local Veterinarian Cat also.”

About: I have 3 dogs a 10 year old, APBT Mix named Zephyr. A 11 year old APBT named Carter. And a 12 year old APBT named Zuko. I also have a lot of exotic pets and am very comfortable with taking care of them. I have been working at a dog kennel for 15 years and managing it for 6 years. Before that I was doing pet sitting and walking on my own. I’ve had a lot of experience will all sizes breeds and temperaments of dogs. I’m also an overnight ER vet assiant. I work 2 jobs so I have limited days I’m available. Im available Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays right now. Im a night person and can offer services late night. I have a fenced yard and always supervise dogs when they are outside. And escape artist dogs are leashes while in the yard with me.

“Emily it the best dog sitter we ever had . Our dog was taken care like a princesses.I had a delayed flight and she accommodated the extra hours for us. I would highly recommend her to others. This was our first time with her but I am 100 percent sure that I will always go to her for all the dog service that she offers.”
