“We took our fearful little guy, Charlie, to Mariah and Neil’s house as a get- to - know- you- while -Mom- and Dad- are present visit. This was a first venture for our doggie Charlie and us, not a traditional dog-sitting event. We really liked Mariah and Neil. We were impressed with their kindness and awareness in dealing with dogs in their home. We felt they were honest in describing Charlie’s expected behavior in first being boarded with them, and we loved that. We know our dog well enough to know that leaving him in a strange new house wouldn’t immediately (particularly for a fearful dog like Charlie) be all roses and chumminess. We did leave him for about 15 minutes alone with Mariah and Neil (“ fearful parents, not so much fearful dog!”) and Charlie reacted just as Neil and Mariah predicted. Their home feels warm and loving. They have two really adorable pups who are obviously loved and well-adjusted. We would recommend Neil and Mariah as carers and will definitely be trying to book them again soon!”

About: I’ve taken care of 2 dogs the past 5+ years. One of them is mine he is an easy going Boston Terrier, he loves playing fetch and walks. The other is a family friend’s dog, she is a Doberman who has had a lot of medical issues. That means a strict medication schedule to adhere to and temper issues. Nonetheless she’s a joy to take care of! I have also taken care of rats, they are a lot of fun. Then off and on i’ve taken care of cats, doing the usual litter box cleaning and feeding. I go to a local community college but it being summertime makes pet care very easy to fit into my already lax schedule. My life isn’t very hectic so i’m flexible with anything! I do live with roommates who are allergic to cats and dogs so sadly I can’t bring fur babies to my home. About: I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as animals that take daily medication. I’m very good when it comes to applying the owners needs with consistency and lots of attention for their pets. I babysit part time and I have dog sitting clients outside of Rover as well. My schedule is very flexible and so it’s easier for me to meet new clients and their pets! I always make sure to ask my clients if there’s any additional info that I need to know. I’m a very aware and attentive person, that’s why I keep a good eye on the pets body language and everyday needs. Keeping up with their schedule is another important detail to me.
About: I've been taking care of animals including wildlife and exotic species for over 5 years. I'm trained in medication administration (including injections) as well as dietary restrictions; I have certificates in Clinical Animal Behavior and Cooperative Care Training with an understanding of how to manage behavioral needs. About: My family has had animals running around for all of my life! Friends and family have relied on me to help watch, walk, and love dogs and cats! My family has 2 dogs we got in 2020 and 4 cats we have had for years! I am excellent with cats and understand that some need patience, time, and space to warm up to you! I love running around with dogs and getting their adrenaline going but I'm also a big sucker for some puppy cuddles! **Availability! As it is summer, I am not in school, or taking any classes. “We took our fearful little guy, Charlie, to Mariah and Neil’s house as a get- to - know- you- while -Mom- and Dad- are present visit. This was a first venture for our doggie Charlie and us, not a traditional dog-sitting event. We really liked Mariah and Neil. We were impressed with their kindness and awareness in dealing with dogs in their home. We felt they were honest in describing Charlie’s expected behavior in first being boarded with them, and we loved that. We know our dog well enough to know that leaving him in a strange new house wouldn’t immediately (particularly for a fearful dog like Charlie) be all roses and chumminess. We did leave him for about 15 minutes alone with Mariah and Neil (“ fearful parents, not so much fearful dog!”) and Charlie reacted just as Neil and Mariah predicted. Their home feels warm and loving. They have two really adorable pups who are obviously loved and well-adjusted. We would recommend Neil and Mariah as carers and will definitely be trying to book them again soon!”

About: I have always been an animal lover. Since my teenage years we had dogs and cats in the house. Over the last 20 years I have lived with and cared for 2 dogs and two cats. Sadly at this point they have all passed on of old age, so I would be especially happy to spend time caring for your animals. I am only employed on a very part time basis, so I have a fairly open and flexible schedule for dog walking, home visits and boarding on most weekdays, and some weekends. I have a fenced back yard perfect for pets to hang out in, and there is also a covered area in the back yard if the weather is rainy.
