That's always something that marks a good sitter in my experience. Knowing that she was actively thinking about our dog's care and doublechecking details that we didn't cover in our Rover profile really put me at ease even before we'd met her. And second, when we picked Rusty up, she had all of his stuff so well organized in the big blue Ikea bag that we pack full of his food, toys, and blankets. It might seem like something small, but it really made me see the care she takes with things. (I myself normally just jam stuff in the bag until it fits, haha.) He also struggles with anxiety and doesn’t like being alone. Tamra was wonderful. She kept me updated on how he was doing, let me know when he ate, and sent lots of pictures and updates throughout his stay. In every picture, Kash looked happy, comfortable, and well cared for. She reassured me that everything was going well, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Kash has special feeding and bathroom instructions, and Tamra was able to accommodate all of his needs without any issues. Most importantly, he was safe, happy, and clearly received plenty of attention and care. “Sabrina was a wonderful foster mom to our two large dogs while we were out of the country for two weeks. As it turned out, the two week boarding was the first time our pups had stayed overnight with Sabrina. There was obvious anxiety on how it would work out, but Sabrina's daily contact with meaningful messages and studio-like photos quickly put those fears to rest. The insight she provided on our furry children highlighted the attention she was giving them, and also her ability to speak dog. Allowing us to bring our own XL kennels so our dogs could feel more at home was the first sign of her genuine concern for our dogs comfort. We have our dogs on special meal plans which she had no problem accommodating. By the end of our trip we were afraid the dogs wouldn't want to come home with us! I also appreciate her flexibility in allowing us to adjust drop off and pick up times on relatively short notice. I can't say enough on how wonderful it all turned out, I appreciate having connected with her and having her as our foster mom going forward.”

“This was the first time I left my two little furry ones with anyone other than my mom, so needless to say, I was quite nervous. A big part of my concern was because one of my dogs does not do well with most humans or other pets besides his brother. Veronica kindly agreed to do a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure my dogs were comfortable with her and that it was a good fit both ways. By the end of the meeting, the dog I was most worried about had completely warmed up to her and was rolling onto his back so she could rub his belly! I was so thankful knowing they would be comfortable staying with her for the five days I was away. Veronica sent updates and photos, and they looked relaxed, happy, and well cared for in every picture. I truly believe pets can sense when someone genuinely cares for them, and I could see that with Veronica. I would absolutely recommend Veronica, and if I ever need to leave my pets again, I would feel completely comfortable having them stay with her.”

About: 23 years of experience, but dogs have always been a part of my life. Family I'd visit growing up and still visit have had 10 dogs featuring 8 different breeds, from Chihuahuas to Pitbulls. I've raised and basic-trained 3 puppy rescues since 2001, saw 2 of them to seniority (Chihuahua and Jack Russel-Chihuahua mix), and raised the most recent (Pug) until 2024 when I blessed close family members with her because they have a huge yard she adores and want her to be happy.
