About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I don't have any pets living with me so your pet would be the only one I would be caring for. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.

About: My dog recently passed away at the age of 16, so I am just trying to get my doggy fixes in. I would love if they could join me for a run or hike. I currently work full time at an office M-F but come home for lunch for an hour. But I can guarantee a morning, lunch and evening walk (or activity) I live in an adu apartment but have a big open backyard and don’t mind pets on furniture if you don’t mind them on furniture.

Your dog(s) have access to a fully fenced half-acre yard, a dog door, a clean and comfortable carpet-free home and plenty of room to run, sniff and explore indoors and outside. I prefer extended stays and host only one to four visiting dogs at a time, depending on their size, needs and personalities. This allows each dog to settle into our normal household routine and receive plenty of personal attention. I primarily accept small and medium dogs and require a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone will be safe, comfortable and relaxed together. About: I’ve owned and cared for anywhere from 2-5 dogs and 2 cats at a time my entire life, most of which have been rescues of all ages, sizes, and behaviors. Additionally, I’ve volunteered at the local Humane Society with dogs and cats for around 8 years and have dog and cat watched for family and friends countless times. I’m comfortable with administering oral medication, using feline inhalers, and caring for animals from puppies and kittens to senior dogs. I am generally available every day from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, but can start earlier or end later as needed. On Mondays I am only available until 3:00 PM. Animals love me and I love them- be it hiking and exploring a lake, throwing sticks in the yard, frolicking in the snow, taking a short stroll, chasing a feather on a stick, or just kicking our feet up for a chill day. I have 3 friendly dogs and 2 cats at my home (one laid back, one spunky 1.5 year old) and a large, unfenced area in the woods where dogs can be leash walked or free roam. Dogs stay in my home as part of the family with me, my two animal-obsessed daughters, ages 12 and 16, and our two friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Your dog(s) have access to a fully fenced half-acre yard, a dog door, a clean and comfortable carpet-free home and plenty of room to run, sniff and explore indoors and outside. I prefer extended stays and host only one to four visiting dogs at a time, depending on their size, needs and personalities. This allows each dog to settle into our normal household routine and receive plenty of personal attention. I primarily accept small and medium dogs and require a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone will be safe, comfortable and relaxed together. I accept large dogs only if I have boarded them previously and know they are trustworthy around smaller animals, but if you feel strongly that your big mellow dog would fit in best with small animals and not play rough, please reach out!
