I live in Alpine Meadows and work at Palisades Tahoe, and am happy to give your pets the care they deserve on my off days and before/after work! I work at Palisades Tahoe as a ski instructor and live in the Donner Lake area. I typically work Friday-Sunday with evenings off. I can be flexible if needed! When friends are out of town or at work all day I will take their dogs on walks/hikes or to the lake for some swimming. Usually my dog sitting days include a short walk (15-20minutes) in the early morning and a longer one mid-day to afternoon (45minutes - 1.5 hours) with another shorter evening walk. I usually spend my days off wandering in the woods and playing at the lake. My ideal day may include a morning hike, evening walk, lake sunset, porch relaxing, reading/Netflix at bedtime with dog cuddles. I can offer as much or as little activity as needed, feeding times flexible, house rules flexible (furniture/no furniture, crate/free roaming) depending on your home routines. About: I love my dogs , and will love yours just the same! My home is small and cozy, with near access of hundreds of acres of woods with amazing hiking trails! A number of dog friendly beaches are close by for summer swimming as well. I prefer pups that are ok off leash for romps in the woods, as I take my dogs there for exercise daily. At age 13 she passed away from Lymphoma. She was so loved and lived a blessed life. Now I am blessed with two amazing pups that I love to the moon and back...I will always be a dog lover! About my yard I do not have a fenced in yard. My home is located in the Tahoe Donner neighborhood, and backs up to hundreds of acres of forest. That is where we do all of our adventuring. I am self-employed, and my work days typically start at 3. That gives ample time for morning adventures! Our current daily routine typically goes as follows - 7:30am wake up, on-leash bathroom time, breakfast, post breakfast snooze, 10am adventure, noon treats and chill, 3pm bathroom break, 7:30pm dinner, after dinner chill, bathroom break, 9:30 bed time! Most pups that stay with us fit very well into that routine. I am very hands-on and attentive to my fuzzy friends. My dogs are never out of my sight. They have full range of the house (couch, bed, chairs, laps!).

About: I have taken care of dogs for many years and when people bring their dog they can feel at ease knowing their dog will receive the best loving care possible.I have always been a dog owner and have cared for multiple breed types.Dogs feel safe at my house. I have plenty of time to walk and play with your dogs. I am available full-time Friday Saturday and Sunday and during the week I can walk your dog.If you want to come up to the mountains and go skiing I am available to watch your dog while you are out on the mountain.If you have more that one pet I can accommodate them. I have a 4 bedroom house and currently I have a small dog named Pepper that enjoys other dogs company. I don't have a fenced-in yard but if you board your dog with me I am very responsible and your dog will stay on the leash when I take the dog for a walk. My house backs up to the power lines and of the woods. There is plenty of places to walk the dog without having to get in a car.When your dog is in my care it's all about your dog. I am person that dogs are drawn to and they love me and they know I'm a dog person.
About: Hi there, I’m Olivia and can’t wait to meet your fur family! My parents had a sweet spot for rescues and adopted dogs from shelters throughout my childhood. I have experience caring for a variety of breeds/sizes, ages, personalities, and levels of health. Over the past 15 years I have also sat for family, friends, and neighbors. I work remotely for a local company so my availability is pretty flexible and will allow me to be with your pup(s) as often as needed. Safety is my top priority. This was my first time leaving Rocky due to a last minute family emergency and it was a great success :) we came by for a meet and greet prior to drop off and it felt great to be so confident Rocky would be in great hands. Rocky is not great with recall so Tasha’s husband made a zip line so Rocky could easily explore as much of their property as possible! They really went above and beyond in so many ways.
