“The only difficult part of writing this review is finding enough good things to say about Elena. Every interaction, from my first communication to picking up Puck after his stay, conveyed both a love of animals and professionalism. We met first in a local park for a meet and greet, where Elena and I chatted and her daughter played with Puck. I felt really comfortable with Elena’s easy manner and the questions she asked to ensure that Puck would be happy with them. I left in confidence when I dropped Puck off, and the photos she sent made it clear that Puck was happy and well cared for. Her daughter makes for a wonderful added bonus; Elena told me when I picked him up that her daughter made a fort for them, and it was clear in the pics that Puck received lots of play time with his favorite toys. When I picked up Puck after his stay, he was of course happy to see me, but not overcome with nervousness or anxiety. I could see that he felt safe and loved in Elena’s home. When I arrived home, he slipped right back into normal routines without needing decompression time. Thank you, Elena, for providing Puck with a warm and loving home-away-from-home.”

“My baby Makana had a great time at JJ’s house.. Though we didn’t see the host’s interior of the house where the pets are, the pictures she had sent looked clean and safe.. It’s Makana’s first time to socialize with 2 dogs since she turned 2 yrs old due to some health issues when she’s a pup. We thought it’s time for her to explore and find out if she is well adjusted now that she’s an adult.She is as expected to be a little shy but was able to adapt and became comfortable. She is tired and pretty happy bec she had a play date with Zuri ( the host’s furbaby) and another furbaby. About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 14 years old for neighbors, family, etc. I've always had several pups in my home at a time because they're my little babies. All of my dogs have been very well trained and follow directions extremely well! I'm currently a full time student but all my classes are scheduled for Tue/Thurs, and I work part time from home on my off days as a lash tech. I make my own schedule so I have PLENTY of free time to care for your pups! Because I am home all week for the most part I hang out with the dogs all day everyday so no need to worry about your fur baby getting lonely! We'll cuddle and watch tv. Regular potty breaks are taken, my two dogs are on a bathroom schedule, they go first thing in the morning, once or twice in the afternoon, and once before bed. Other pups that I have taken care of seem to catch on to our schedule very quickly and have no problems with it! If there is a time where I do need to leave to go do a grocery pick up or anything like that I let the dogs sleep on the couch while I'm gone, but I do have a crate present just in case I do need to put the pup up if they don't do well being left out of the crate with no supervision.

About: I’ve grown up caring for animals and currently help care for four dogs and a cat at home, so I’m very comfortable with different routines, personalities, and energy levels. I have experience with young puppies, older dogs, cats, and multi-pet households, so I understand how important consistency and attention are. I’ve also worked with horses, which taught me to be calm, patient, and aware when caring for animals. I genuinely love animals and try to make every pet feel comfortable, cared for, and kept on their normal routine while their owner is away. Pet care already fits naturally into my routine because I’m used to caring for animals daily at home. I’m comfortable planning around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, check-ins, and giving pets consistent attention. I have a pretty open and flexible schedule, so I’m available most days and times. I’m easy to communicate with and like to stay organized ahead of time, but I can also be flexible depending on what’s needed. I take pet care seriously and focus on keeping pets calm, comfortable, and in their normal routine. I pay close attention to instructions and each pet’s personality so everything stays consistent. At home, I care for a young puppy, so I’m used to staying active, patient, and engaged. I also have experience with a puppy who has allergies and needs more attentive, consistent care, so I’m comfortable handling more detailed routines. In addition, I have a senior dog, so I understand the patience and consistency that comes with slower-paced care and medication routines. I also really enjoy taking my dogs on walks and keeping them active. I have a cat as well, so I’m used to daily feeding, keeping up with the litter box, and adjusting to her personality, sometimes social, sometimes more independent. Overall, I’m very comfortable adapting to different needs while keeping everything organized and running smoothly.

About: New to Rover, however I have years of experience with cats and dogs. I'm currently available anytime with full pet supervision. My daughter, Brittany is home also to walk, drop in or sit your loving pet at our house with a fully fenced in yard, fresh water and treats ! We like to get out and walk together with the kids so this is great for us ! I'm currently home often and I enjoy going outside on walks with the kids, so if you have a pup to walk, we are ready to go ! Doggie day care will be offered early as 8am and as late as 8pm ! Am able to provide Fresh water and treats and give them full attention during our visit

About: I have had dogs my entire life. My daughter and friends rely on me to take care of their fur babies. They know they are loved, cuddled and well taken care of. They are just like part of my family. I am retired and spend time walking several times a day and would love a fur baby friend to hang out with. I lost my fur baby a year ago. I have a large fenced in area and lots of places to play. No pool. I have lots of great walking areas as well as play areas. I allow dogs to sleep with me. If they need to be crated for comfort that is fine too!
About: I've worked with special needs animals all my life from tri-pawds, deaf, and blind animals to those with dietary restrictions, behavioral issues, anxiety, and sensitivity to stimuli. Currently I am also employed by a farm that has working breads for dogs and barn cats. I work with a changing and flexible schedule and three days off per week, leaving me plenty of time for checking in on your furry friend. My animals have special dietary needs along with special care for allergies and sensitive skin. They receive joint supplements, specially vetted foods, special bathing requirements, and seasonal medications. I'm well versed at the care special needs animals require because of this.
About: I've had experience caring for my own dogs and pet-sitting for friends, neighbors, and families! I am very patient with animals with behavioral issues, my own dog has anxiety and I understand that it takes time to build trust with new people. I'm always happy to play, give lots of love and special attention. I am staying in California for the summer between semesters, so my schedule is completely open for caring for pets. I'm happy to spend as much time as possible with animals and I'd love to be able to help people out that want the best for their pets! I make sure that the pets get enough exercise/time outside, that they're getting enough to eat and drink, and going to the bathroom regularly. I will clean up after any messes that they make, I know how anxiety or excitement can affect pets. I've had experience giving medication to dogs before, so I understand the schedule of that, if needed.
