Sumaira safely got my girl home and check her out from head to toe. She promptly notified me that the husky was attacked, however alright. Sumaira let me know there was a little blood on her ear, however she did not appear to be injured. I myself have had another dog attack us when we were walking. Sumaira did the responsible thing and notified me and ensured my girl was alright. In this type of situation that is best can be accomplished and despite this incident I will ask Sumaira to walk her again.”

About: I’ve had dogs and taken care of dogs my whole life. 1 of my families dogs currently has had a history of being reactive with other dogs. This has trained me to be very alert and careful while walking him. I’ve learned many tactics in that regard. I also just love dogs and would be so happy to take care of your dog like it’s my own. I take only online classes and then have work for a few hours in the evening on Mondays and Wednesdays. So I would be able to make your pet care my priority. I’m very respectful of other people’s space and always make sure to leave someone’s home spotless. I treat your animals like my own, playing, spending time, and caring for them as much as I can. I regularly dog sit for friends with very different needs, from high-energy dogs who need multiple long walks a day to older dogs who require a slower pace and more hands-on care. I’ve also cared for multiple dogs at once, making sure each one gets the individual attention they need. I pride myself on being adaptable and attentive, tailoring my care to each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level. Beyond experience, what truly sets me apart is how deeply I care. I treat every dog like family, not just a job. I’ve even gone out of my way on multiple occasions to help neighbors find their lost dogs and have successfully helped reunite them with their owners several times. I believe it’s our responsibility to create a safe, loving, and positive environment where dogs feel relaxed, happy, and encouraged—and that’s exactly the kind of care I provide every time. I work full-time with a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to plan ahead one or two weeks in advance for working on site or at home. On days I go into the office, I can take pups on walks in the early morning or evening. I’m fully available for boarding on weekends, and depending on my work schedule, I can also offer overnight boarding during the week. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate each dog’s routine—whether that means early morning walks, regular potty breaks, or sticking closely to their usual schedule. If your pup is used to a 7am walk, I’m more than happy to start the day early to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I prioritize creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that helps every dog feel at ease, whether they’re in my home or their own. In my home, I have a private, fenced backyard that’s only accessible through my apartment, so your dog can safely enjoy fresh air. It’s partially covered as well, providing some protection from rain. Inside, I keep my space clean and dog-friendly, with cushioned area rugs to prevent slipping and give dogs a comfortable place to walk, play, or relax. I also provide cozy blankets and an outdoor dog bed so they have options for resting wherever they feel most comfortable. Cleanliness and routine are very important to me—I wash food bowls after each use and refresh water bowls daily. Dogs are welcome on my furniture, but I always respect and follow your home rules to maintain consistency. If your dog isn’t allowed on furniture, I will reinforce those same boundaries. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and attentive to instructions. I carefully follow all provided routines, house rules, and notes to ensure your dog experiences as much consistency and comfort as possible while you’re away.
“Kara watched my golden retriever while I was in the area for a job training for about five days. She was very responsive via the rover app and answered all my questions we met up and my dog loved staying at her house. It was like dog summer camp for sure! he is pooped. “Shudan took such a great care of my rescue puppy who is extremely scared of anything and anyone. This was a first boarding experience for my pup so I was extremely nervous, but Shudan communicated actively, with daily photos and videos of Siu eating, walking and playing with other dogs- which put my mind at ease. My anxious/shy dog opened up to Shudan very quickly and could see in the video that he was begging for more cuddles :) Towards the end of the stay my pup had bit of a loose stool and she made sure that I was aware of that, which is also a thoughtful detail that I appreciated. This won't be the last time I'll book Shudan to take care of Siu for sure. :)”
