“Wonderful care for our dog, we are so grateful. Wenchi’s communication from first contact through the pick up was excellent, fast, and helpful. We got lots of updates, including pictures and videos. Thank you for taking such good care of Pete.”

“Jessie was wonderful to work with! She happily met Maisey and me for a meet and greet before I booked. She took care of my shy, scared rescue puppy for the first time she had been away from me. Jessie rose to the challenges my girl presented. She sent photo updates and responded to my nervous dog mom messages. I absolutely trust Jessie and it gave me comfort to know Maisey was with her and well taken care of while I was far away!”

“Kirsten was great!! She was kind and communicative by sending me pics/vids with updates and was very reassuring as it was my first time having my boy away from home. I would definitely trust her to watch him again, 10/10”

“Jiajie was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my puppy and was incredibly attentive the whole time. She sent me tons of updates, photos, and videos every day, which made me feel so reassured and at ease while I was away. Communication was super smooth — she was always responsive, friendly, and patient, and you can really tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. My puppy was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when I picked her up. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Highly recommend Jiajie to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and responsible. I would 100% book with her again!”

“Ann took great care of my mom’s dog Crash while my mom was out of town, and Ann was able to accommodate us with only a few days notice. Crash seemed very happy with his stay. Definitely recommend Ann!”

“Marya had our two young Frenchies overnight for their first time away from home. She sent us pictures and a video of them settling in and getting acquainted with her larger dog. She was very thoughtful in handling our little ones and communicated really well with us. We are planning to use her for a longer trip in just a few weeks.”

“Valerie is a caring and attentive pet sitter for our dog Cali. She gave Cali her medications on time and took her on daily walks. Valerie took great care of Cali, I really appreciated the daily pictures and prompt messages. I would definitely book Valerie to care for our pets.”

“This was Michelle’s first visit with my busy kitty crew, and I felt comfortable, and knew they were In Good hands, the moment that I met with her. This was also a last minute booking, and Michelle was gracious and accommodating. Thank you for the care, and for making a last minute trip, possible for our family, Michelle.”

“Cindy took wonderful care of Norman! She was very conscientious with his care, communicated well, and sent great pictures. Norman has a difficult temperament sometimes, but Cindy made him comfortable in her home and was able to reliably give him his medication. I would definitely trust her with your pets!”

“Initially I felt bad dropping my dog off, he was super nervous when I left but Achara helped him get settled in and kept me updated on how he was adjusting. She provided regular pictures so I could see him enjoying his time with new puppy friends and enjoying laying in the yard in the sun! I’m grateful for the compassionate care and would definitely recommend her to other pet owners!”

“A bit hard to review as there wasn’t much overlapping time to be with Memha. Her home is quite rural and surrounded by orchards with a large fenced yard so visually very appealing Memha and her husband were very sweet and volunteered to come into town to both pick up and return our dog back to us; very thoughtful! Our dog came home tired which we loved!”

About: Ever since I adopted my own cat I fell in love and researched endlessly to ensure he lives the best life possible. I can read cat language well and know when a cat wants to be pet or left alone. Studying in animal science has also helped me understand the feline anatomy, behavior, and nutritional requirements!
“Rebooked Haley to check on our cats everyday while we were on vacation. I'm so glad I did because she always does a great job! The rover cards are detailed and included great pics. One of my cats is a little shy and she said she was able to pet her which is amazing to hear! I will definitely rebook her in the future.”

“Megan was fantastic with my cat Norman. Norman is a diabetic cat who can be aggressive with strangers when they try to give insulin, so it's often tough to find sitters who can manage him. I was so happy with how patient and compassionate Megan was with him. She was extremely reliable and a great communicator, and was able to make sure he got his insulin on time everyday. I would really highly recommend Megan, you can definitely trust her to take great care of your pet!”

About: I’ve been a cat lover my entire life—I literally grew up with cats and have over 25 years of hands-on experience caring for them. From playful kittens to sweet senior cats, I’m comfortable with every stage of life. I currently have a senior cat of my own, so I understand the extra patience, attention, and love they sometimes need. Whether you’re away for a weekend or an extended trip, I’ll make sure your cat feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ll happily provide fresh food and water, clean the litter box, play (if they’re in the mood!), and, of course, give plenty of affection on their terms. I know every cat has a unique personality, and I’m committed to caring for yours just the way they like.
“Dina did a fantastic job taking care of our cat. She was very responsive and a great communicator. We felt confident our cat was in good hands and reassured by the detailed notes/photos provided.”

About: I’ve taken care of dog for with more than 5 years. I personally have two dogs in the house which are 10 lbs and 30 lbs, both are low to medium energy. I’ve successfully trained 3 puppies in the past 5 years and also fostered senior dogs before for a rescue. For safety reasons, all the dogs will be separated when I’m out, and basic training can be provided if owner requests. Walks twice a day, no dog park trips unless owner requests for safety precautions. No human aggression is allowed, any growling/nipping/snapping for no reasons is not acceptable. If your dog is being too stressed among other dogs, I have separate room to place him/her, and he/she will get quality along time with human every day. Pictures and videos will be send out about 5-10 times/day. I’m a recent graduate at UC Davis, and currently WFH all day. I will walk dogs twice a day and give them bathroom break at least 4-5 times every day. I have a fenced yard in the house. All the dogs will be separated when I’m not at home for safety purposes. Anyone being too stressed will have a separate room for resting.
About: I’ve taken care of many pets from senior animals on their deathbeds to infants needing bottle feeding, animals with behavior issues, and animals needing medical care. I am familiar with training animals and am not afraid of a challenge. I do not currently have any obligations, so my schedule is completely open and I am available to care for your pets at any time. I try to create a safe and welcoming environment for the animals, making them feel at home while making sure they are safe and cared for.

About: I adopted my first cat Bowie when I was 20 and he truly changed my life for the better. Since adopting him I've worked full time for a year in an animal shelter, adopted another cat (Chibi), and fostered over 10 cats with my local shelter. I've fostered a wide range of cats ranging from 3 week old kittens that required syringe feeding, daily medications, and extensive weight tracking to senior cats in their golden years. I've also experienced caring for a hospice cat which required administering medication, food, and liquids through an E-tube. As a fellow cat mom with a passion for caring for animals, I can assure you I will give your furry family member the respect, attention, and love they deserve!

About: I love feline companions and as a cat mom I know the deep bond you form with your pets, and I have every intention of taking care of your kitties the way I would want my cat taken care of. My cat, Luke, is harness trained, clicker trained for tricks, and could play all day long! While that isn’t the case for every cat, I hope my care for Luke can make you feel confident for allowing me to care for yours 🐱

“Valerie was amazing! We reached out just one day before we needed someone to watch our dog, Choco, and she was incredibly accommodating. She was very flexible with both drop-off and pick-up times, which made everything so much easier for us. Throughout Choco’s stay, she kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear from the pictures that he was happy, comfortable, and having a great time with her. We’re very grateful for the excellent care she gave Choco and wouldn’t hesitate to trust her again. We highly recommend Valerie to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and communicative pet sitter!”

About: Animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. Raised on a farm and on a pre-vet track from a young age, I’ve spent decades caring for animals of all kinds—from house pets to livestock to wildlife. Starting at 14, I volunteered in local vet clinics and wildlife rehab centers, gaining hands-on experience with everything from cats and dogs to peacocks, horses, goats, snakes, fish, birds, and cattle. At UC Davis, I deepened my care skills while working at the world-renowned Vet Hospital, tending to cats and dogs during the swing shift. I also worked with campus goats, pigs, sheep, fish, cattle, and horses—and even fostered cats for the hospital. Now in my 30s, I’m an education professional and dedicated pet mom to both cats and dogs. I continue to care for friends’ and neighbors’ pets with the same compassion, attention, and responsibility that’s guided me my whole life. I’m certified in Cat & Dog CPR & First Aid, and Infant, Child, and Adult CPR/AED/First Aid, and have emergency care experience with animals large and small. I’m calm under pressure, reliable, and always communicate clearly—your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I'm currently taking a break from teaching, and being a full-time stay-at-home mama to my 2.5 year old daughter. I have plenty of time to care for your furry family member. Please note that at this time, we are seeking families whose pets are comfortable around toddlers and children. I have a fully fenced yard, and a park just around the corner from my house for those whose furry friends enjoy a stretch, walk, or playtime! I am comfortable using a crate, and we have plenty of floor room in the house (carpet and laminate) for them to lay down if they're not crate trained. We do not allow dogs on the furniture. Cats are allowed to wander the house. We are more than happy to put up child gates to keep your furry family member in certain areas of the house if they're prone to getting into things (such as stuffed animals for the kiddos... I mean really, a lot of doggie toys these days look so similar! I'd understand the misconception. lol) We're not afraid to be firm but kind if your family member needs set boundaries.
About: I have been around pets ever since I can remember and probably had around 10 in my life so far. I’ll be attentive, caring and sweet with your little friends, bringing them the comfort and calm they need when you’re not home ❤️ I’m currently a student at UC Davis with a part-time job, so I will be available for pet sitting every other day normally after 12pm (noon) I can easily find a space in your home where the pet feels more at comfort and I’ll act quickly and proactively when I notice something is needed.
“Kathleen is amazing! She is a shining example of someone that loves what she does and it shows. We had our meet & greet at the dog park and I was impressed with her right away. It seemed like she knew every dog there, their names & their owners names! My Georgia just loves her.”

About: I've always liked to rescue animals and care for them from a young age. So lots of my family and friends would bring animals to me or trust me to petsit for them. I've not only cared for dogs and cats, but also turtles, toads, and a few birds. I'm currently solely attending classes so I have plenty of availability for your pets to always feel well cared for during their stay with me! I have a fenced patio, luckily there are a few pet friendly parks that surround me. I follow any instructions given for your pet care to a T since no one knows your pet like you do. I have a housemate, but she is just as loving to any animal brought in.

About: Hi! My name is Faith Tupin and I am a substitute Paraeducator in the Davis school district, babysitter and grad school student. I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and sheep. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter off and on for a few years and was in 4-H for many years. I have experience with extremely large dogs to tea cup chihuahuas, three legged dogs, dogs needing end of life care (medication administration, pet inhalers), puppies who haven’t been house trained and even service animals. I was taught how to do CPR on dogs even though i’ve never had to put my skills to use. I am active and I love long walks. I am also very clean and will make sure your house looks great when I leave. I currently am working part time and am also able to make my own schedule. This allows me to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities. I always talk to the owners to ensure that I am following their routine and keeping an eye out for any bad habits the dog may have- chewing on cords, digging by fences. I am aware of what food is toxic to dogs and never leave it out. I avoid other dogs on walks and look out for unknown food on the sidewalks that they may be tempted to eat.
“Zihui helped me so much as I'm recovering from a broken ankle and leg and needed someone to walk my high energy German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois puppy while my husband was out of town. She came and was great with him immediately and walked him for an hour every day for the entire week so that I could focus on work. She told me how each walk went and just very kind and pleasant. I definitely recommend Zihui, thank you!”

“I usually walk my Dalmatian every day but I got an injury and cannot do it for several weeks. So Emme-Kate has taken over until I get better! She is 100% reliable and prompt and gets a very brisk walk in for my dog every day. Thank you Emme-Kate!”
About: I’ve spent over 10 years caring for pets, including senior pets and those with special needs, including diabetes care. I’m always happy to tailor my approach so your pet gets the exact care, attention, and routine they’re used to. I am committed to providing personalized care tailored to each pet’s routine and needs. In a client’s home, I maintain your pet’s normal schedule with feedings, fresh water, walks or litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship. My goal is to keep your pet comfortable and their routine consistent to minimize any stress while you're away.
About: I grew up on a farm and have been taking care of pets for family and friends for almost a decade! Including: dogs (big and small), and cats (old and young). I can feed and water your pets, administer medicine, clean up after them, and provide loving attention and play. I currently have 2 precious cats and would treat yours as if they were one of my own. I work part-time, and with advanced noticed I can choose my workdays/work from home, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I can care for your pets in your home/yard. I’m comfortable with pets that free roam the house/yard as well as with those who need to be crated and let out or taken on walks.
“Carmen has been a terrific dog walker for our two hounds. They were practically smiling in the photos she’d send us each day. 5 stars and would definitely recommend to anyone in the Davis area looking for assistance with their pets.”

“Nora was really kind and found some time for a last minute request from me. She’s been extremely responsive and responsible. Anika loves her! Will definitely keep her on my go-to list for the futyre”

About: I've grown up and lived with dogs most of my life. The best part of visiting home is getting to see our long haired terrier and our chihuahua mix. I've dog and house sat multiple times for friends who live in Davis. It’s always been a great experience as I find walking and hanging out with dogs to be a good way of decompressing from classes. I currently have more flexibility in my academic schedule, so I'm open for short or long term pet and house sitting. If you think I may be a good fit, please feel free to reach out. I'm currently helping in a lab on UCD, but my timing is flexible. I can easily work pet and house sitting into my schedule. My current living situation doesn't allow for me to have pets. When it comes to caring for a pet in their home I would follow the existing routines and refer to how the owner cares for their pet. I am a firm believer that it's far less stressful for a dog or cat to be able to stay home while their owner is out of town.
About: I’ve always loved animals of all kinds. Insects, reptiles, rats, especially cats and dogs. I’ve also volunteered at the ASPCA for a year! I have experience with almost all animals, and I’d love to help take care of yours! I take care of two pets of my own, but currently don’t have a stable job. My days are open! Might as well do what I love and get payed for it. XD I have a calm smaller dog, and a cat who LOVES dogs (she’s strange I know). I live right next to a huge park and walking trail.
About: I grew up with cats, dogs, rabbits, and turtles. I have a cat of my own, but love all animals. About: I’ve owned a menagerie of pets since I was 12 years old. I’ve owned cats, dogs, rodents, birds, you name it! As an aspiring veterinarian who had an amazing internship last summer and someone who has owned many senior animals, I am able to accommodate special medical needs as long as you leave me clear instructions on how to care for your fur baby. I am currently a full-time student and part-time veterinary assistant, but I do not have any other commitments outside of that! Depending on my daily academic schedule, I can typically fit in brief visits in the early morning and during my lunch breaks, and longer visits in the evening! I will follow any instructions left to me to a T. If there is something I’m unsure about, I will be sure to ask clients before taking any drastic actions (unless it is truly an emergency).

About: I have taken care of two cats since 2023, and have lived with two dogs in my family home since 2020. I absolutely love dogs and cats, and am willing to care for your pets with the same attention that I give my own animals! Growing up with different pets from fish, crabs, parakeets and hamsters is where my love for animals comes from and am excited to express that love in a way that is helpful to the community around me! I've lived in Davis for the past 5 years and as a former Unitrans employee, this opportunity seems like the best way for me to continue giving my efforts back to the city of Davis and its people! My schedule is very flexible currently and am able to help your pet throughout the day if need be! I am mobile and am able to make multiple visits to your animal in a single day, as well as take them on multiple trips and/or walks if need be. I prefer to take care of your animals in the space that they are comfortable in, and will be respectful of your home and property for the time I am in your space. I am able to play with, take on walks, feed, and take care of any other tasks your pet may need!

“Michelle recently watched our anxious rescue pup, Millie, in her home for 5 nights while our family went on vacation. She sent us pics and stories every day so we knew she was happy and well taken care of. Millie loved playing with Michelle’s dog and kiddos and we were able to enjoy our vacation worry free. So grateful we found her! We will for sure use her for this service again.”

I know how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone new, so I'll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, giving you peace of mind while you're away. I'll follow your instructions carefully, from feeding schedules and medications to favorite toys and bedtime routines, so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. When your pet stays with me, they'll receive the same love, patience, and care I'd want for my own family. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine, and I’ve structured my schedule so every pet in my care receives consistent attention, companionship, and supervision. I’m home everyday of the week and have plenty of time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and maintaining your pet’s normal routine. I attend school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-12pm and 6pm-9pm, but someone is always home, so your pet will never be left alone for long periods. Because I only care for one family’s pets at a time, I’m able to give them focused, personalized care instead of dividing my attention between multiple bookings. My goal is to keep their routine as familiar and stress free as possible so they feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home. In my home, I provide a calm, comfortable environment where pets can settle in and feel like part of the family. I have a large, fully fenced yard for supervised potty breaks, playtime, and outdoor enrichment, along with a quiet dog park just a few blocks away that is usually empty. I only use the park when it is appropriate for the individual dog and with the owner’s permission. I also have a dog (Jayda) of my own who is friendly, calm, and respectful of other dogs’ boundaries. I always prioritize safe introductions and closely monitor interactions so every pet feels comfortable. If a visiting dog is not comfortable around other dogs, my home has separate rooms and spaces where pets can be safely kept apart whenever necessary. Their comfort and safety always come first. Because I care for one family at a time, I can give each pet personalized attention and follow their usual feeding, walking, medication, playtime, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. For care in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the home itself. During drop-ins or house sitting, I provide fresh food and water, potty breaks, litter box or yard cleanup, medication when needed, playtime, affection, and any other care instructions provided. For walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and letting each dog move at a pace that suits their age, energy level, and comfort. No matter the service, I send regular photo and message updates so owners can feel confident knowing their pet is safe, comfortable, and receiving attentive care.
“Rosalinda was immediately receptive and responsive to my last minute request for dog sitting. I made the request 1hr before I needed to head out of town and she approved it! Relief! I also loved the my dog Tilly was able to play with 3 other dogs while she stayed with Rosalinda. And Rosalinda spent a few minutes with Tilly and I before I left to ensure Tilly and I felt settled in. Thank you, Rosalinda!”

About: 12+ years of animal sitting (primarily dogs but also cats and small critters!) Currently volunteer at an animal shelter (very experienced and comfortable with animals on many different behavior levels) I am comfortable walking, running, feeding, playing, training, cleaning and more for your pet! I love all animals and would love to help out where I can:) I only work part time so I am pretty available to taking care of your pets whenever needed! I can do daily check ins or sitting- whatever you and your family wants. I have a fenced yard and a friendly gentle dog if you’re boarding with me, but I can also housesit and care for both your pets and your home!
“April was super friendly and nice! Her home is very inviting and cozy. I appreciated the updates she sent about my dogs without me even asking. So happy with the experience and would book again!”

“Annie is great! She’s so sweet and kind! She accommodated every need for my Bella and went above and beyond. Check ins were good and she even bathed my dog. She treated Bella like her own and for that, I’m thankful!”

“Reginay was amazing in taking care of my 2 year old energetic dog Canelo. He immediately felt comfortable with her and in her home. She sent pictures regularly that reassured me that he was well taken care of and happy. I’ll definitely be booking Reginay going forward. Canelo loves her!”
