About: I’ve taken care of dog for with more than 5 years. I personally have two dogs in the house which are 10 lbs and 30 lbs, both are low to medium energy. I’ve successfully trained 3 puppies in the past 5 years and also fostered senior dogs before for a rescue. For safety reasons, all the dogs will be separated when I’m out, and basic training can be provided if owner requests. Walks twice a day, no dog park trips unless owner requests for safety precautions. No human aggression is allowed, any growling/nipping/snapping for no reasons is not acceptable. If your dog is being too stressed among other dogs, I have separate room to place him/her, and he/she will get quality along time with human every day. Pictures and videos will be send out about 5-10 times/day. I’m a recent graduate at UC Davis, and currently WFH all day. I will walk dogs twice a day and give them bathroom break at least 4-5 times every day. I have a fenced yard in the house. All the dogs will be separated when I’m not at home for safety purposes. Anyone being too stressed will have a separate room for resting.

About: Animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. Raised on a farm and on a pre-vet track from a young age, I’ve spent decades caring for animals of all kinds—from house pets to livestock to wildlife. Starting at 14, I volunteered in local vet clinics and wildlife rehab centers, gaining hands-on experience with everything from cats and dogs to peacocks, horses, goats, snakes, fish, birds, and cattle. At UC Davis, I deepened my care skills while working at the world-renowned Vet Hospital, tending to cats and dogs during the swing shift. Now in my 30s, I’m an education professional and dedicated pet mom to both cats and dogs. I’m certified in Cat & Dog CPR & First Aid, and Infant, Child, and Adult CPR/AED/First Aid, and have emergency care experience with animals large and small. I'm currently taking a break from teaching, and being a full-time stay-at-home mama to my 2.5 year old daughter. I have plenty of time to care for your furry family member. Please note that at this time, we are seeking families whose pets are comfortable around toddlers and children. I have a fully fenced yard, and a park just around the corner from my house for those whose furry friends enjoy a stretch, walk, or playtime! I am comfortable using a crate, and we have plenty of floor room in the house (carpet and laminate) for them to lay down if they're not crate trained. We do not allow dogs on the furniture. Cats are allowed to wander the house. We are more than happy to put up child gates to keep your furry family member in certain areas of the house if they're prone to getting into things (such as stuffed animals for the kiddos... I mean really, a lot of doggie toys these days look so similar! I'd understand the misconception. lol) We're not afraid to be firm but kind if your family member needs set boundaries.

About: Hi! My name is Faith Tupin and I am a substitute Paraeducator in the Davis school district, babysitter and grad school student. I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and sheep. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter off and on for a few years and was in 4-H for many years. I have experience with extremely large dogs to tea cup chihuahuas, three legged dogs, dogs needing end of life care (medication administration, pet inhalers), puppies who haven’t been house trained and even service animals. I was taught how to do CPR on dogs even though i’ve never had to put my skills to use. I am active and I love long walks. I am also very clean and will make sure your house looks great when I leave. I currently am working part time and am also able to make my own schedule. This allows me to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities. I always talk to the owners to ensure that I am following their routine and keeping an eye out for any bad habits the dog may have- chewing on cords, digging by fences. I am aware of what food is toxic to dogs and never leave it out. I avoid other dogs on walks and look out for unknown food on the sidewalks that they may be tempted to eat.

About: I've grown up and lived with dogs most of my life. The best part of visiting home is getting to see our long haired terrier and our chihuahua mix. I've dog and house sat multiple times for friends who live in Davis. It’s always been a great experience as I find walking and hanging out with dogs to be a good way of decompressing from classes. I currently have more flexibility in my academic schedule, so I'm open for short or long term pet and house sitting. If you think I may be a good fit, please feel free to reach out. I'm currently helping in a lab on UCD, but my timing is flexible. I can easily work pet and house sitting into my schedule. My current living situation doesn't allow for me to have pets. About: I am currently a student at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine to become a vet! I have had pets at home since elementary school including dogs, cats, and chickens. At home I play an integral role caring for each of my pets. My love for animals extends outside of the house as I look to work with animals professionally as a veterinarian. In my home, I provide a calm, comfortable environment where pets can settle in and feel like part of the family. I have a large, fully fenced yard for supervised potty breaks, playtime, and outdoor enrichment, along with a quiet dog park just a few blocks away that is usually empty. I only use the park when it is appropriate for the individual dog and with the owner’s permission. I also have a dog (Jayda) of my own who is friendly, calm, and respectful of other dogs’ boundaries. I always prioritize safe introductions and closely monitor interactions so every pet feels comfortable. If a visiting dog is not comfortable around other dogs, my home has separate rooms and spaces where pets can be safely kept apart whenever necessary. Their comfort and safety always come first. Because I care for one family at a time, I can give each pet personalized attention and follow their usual feeding, walking, medication, playtime, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. For care in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the home itself. During drop-ins or house sitting, I provide fresh food and water, potty breaks, litter box or yard cleanup, medication when needed, playtime, affection, and any other care instructions provided. For walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and letting each dog move at a pace that suits their age, energy level, and comfort. No matter the service, I send regular photo and message updates so owners can feel confident knowing their pet is safe, comfortable, and receiving attentive care.
