In our home we had four dogs, two hamsters, a corn snake, a half-blind horse, countless hermit crabs, and a parakeet. There is truly no animal I don't love and won't do my best to care for. Growing up with these animals I've had the privilege to be there when they were puppies/kittens/babies all the way through the end of their life, so I have extensive experience with care in every life stage. I've carried that love and passion with me into adulthood. As an adult I've worked for a year as a kennel technician at a humane society enriching, socializing, training, and advocating for dogs, cats, and small animals. I also regularly volunteer time at humane societies when I can and regularly foster cats, to date I've successfully fostered over 10 cats who are now all in happy homes. Through fostering I've experienced some harder care cases. Including fostering 3 week old sick kittens requiring syringe feedings, multiple medications, and detailed weight tracking. I've also had the privilege of fostering a hospice case who required food, liquid, and medication administration through an e-tube along with extensive monitoring. About: My experience with animals goes far beyond pet sitting. I began volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation center at age 10 and continued through age 16, which sparked my lifelong passion for animal care. I went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Wildlife Conservation and Ecology. My background in wildlife rehabilitation, veterinary clinics, and animal control has taught me how important it is to pay close attention to behavior and recognize when something is out of the ordinary. I’m comfortable handling animals with different personalities and energy levels and understand the importance of patience, supervision, and a calm environment. I also love keeping dogs active with walks, play, enrichment, and outdoor time when appropriate. Most importantly, I treat every pet as an individual and care for them with the same attentiveness and respect I would want for my own. I have my own fenced in yard and a large sized kennel in my home if needed.
About: I’ve owned dogs since I was born, currently have 4 dogs of my own that I take care of…and I’ve worked at multiple doggie daycares/dog walking facilities as well. I am currently working part time as a server on a changing schedule so I have a pretty open/flexible for pet care! I’m very good with accommodating others schedules. About: I am a regular volunteer at the YOLO animal shelter and Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary. At home I take care of all of my exotic pets, I own a parakeet, cockatiel, bearded dragon, rat, and two fish tanks. I love my at home zoo and taking care of everybody, I'd love to share that joy with YOU! I currently work part-time with a flexible schedule to accommodate all YOUR pet's needs! Weekdays are very flexible where-as weekends need a couple days notice. I follow directions diligently and confidently. “Anthony is top-notch! He took great care of our King Charles Cavalier for four days. Anthony sent lots of pictures and videos of our dog playing with his dog, Kai. He took our dog on many walks to the local park and played fetch with the dogs his backyard. Anthony was very flexible with pickup/drop off times and had everything ready to go when it was time to take our dog home. I highly recommend Anthony for dog boarding and we will be rebooking with him in a few weeks.”

Loved the ability to have Midnights’ care planned so far in advance and Zariyah did not cancel on me, which was greatly appreciated, especially since this was a holiday stay. I couldn’t be happier with the care Zariyah and her family provided for Midnight while I was away for 9 days on vacation. She sent videos and responded timely as needed throughout the entire process which helped put our mind at ease and actually enjoy our vacation. When I returned, Midnight was happy and relaxed, and all items left with him were returned. It’s clear that Zariyah and her family treats clients’ pets like their own.
