“Merilu took wonderful care of our dog. She kept us updated regularly with pictures. This was my first time using Rover and Mercury helped me trust others with the care of our pooch. We have already booked her for a second visit. Thank you!”

“Yulan & Gaochuan were great with our 2 frenchies. One of our frenchies usually don't warm up to strangers. They both enjoyed being spoiled by their new sitter. We received frequent pictures and videos updates while they were in their care. We'll definitely use them again! Thanks!!”

“It was the absolute best experience. Cristal was constantly communicating to give us updates on our pup and what his day looked like. We got pictures every day to see him playing and napping which brought us so much peace of mind. On top of that she was so sweet and gave our dog her own treats because I forgot to pack some for him. If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would do so in a heart beat. I don’t think I would feel confortable boarding my pup anywhere else.”

“Biswas was terrific. I forgot my dogs bowl and he had bowls and leashes. He sent pics daily so l could see my dog was doing good. He is easy to work with and ready to assist any way he can. We will be using Biswas again.”

“Peter was great! Once I met him, I had no worries leaving my babies with him. He was very responsive and sent updates and pictures. I highly recommend him, unless it will make him too busy to be available for my pups!????”

“My pup is very comfortable with Shirley & always is happy to stay with her. He’s a little needy & she is so patient with him. He enjoys his walks twice a day! We are so happy to found a good boarding fit for our pup. Thanks Shirley!!”

“Dipankar & Nagma watched our fur baby when we took our roadtrip to Disneyland. They were great with communication and Gojo was very comfortable and happy with them. When we got back to pick him up he tried to go back inside when Nagma went back in to grab his bag. I think that’s a 4 paws up from Gojo. We will definitely use them again and feel comfortable leaving him for a longer vacation next time.”

“Bella loves Liam and Nadia!!! We have used their overnight service three times now while we were on vacation and they have consistently taken excellent care of her. They also send us lots of pictures and videos. We do not worry knowing she is in great hands. Our Bella especially loves playing and exploring their property with their their little dog Bella. Thank you again!!”

“Pratik and Grishma are amazing. They were so accomdating with a last minute booking for a 14 day stay. They kept us updated with photos and videos everyday. Our 13 year Griffinshire “Reese” is our princess and she was treated as such. Plenty of lap time and kisses throughout here stay. Our 2 year baby boy Halligan is a rescue and has only been boarded once and they did an amazing job with his anxiety and got him out of his comfort zone to play with all the dogs there during his stay. We will definitely be using them again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a very trusted and safe pet sitting family.”

“My boyfriend and I were planning a trip and needed a sitter, but I was extremely hesitant about leaving our 15-month-old puppy, Camila, for the first time—we even considered canceling. I’m so glad we didn’t and that we found Allison! Allison is truly wonderful. We were able to do a meet-and-greet beforehand, which immediately put me at ease and reassured me that Camila would be in great hands. Allison was kind, welcoming, and incredibly responsive to all of my questions and concerns both before our trip and while we were away. She was also very flexible and accommodating with pick-up and drop-off times. Her setup is amazing—she has a fully fenced front yard, a fully fenced backyard, and indoor space, which gave Camila plenty of options to play with other dogs or relax on her own. Receiving regular pictures and videos of Camila was such a comfort and made our trip even more enjoyable. Knowing Allison was taking such great care of Camila gave me complete peace of mind.”

“Anton took such good care of our dog Milton. He sent us numerous photos while we were on our trip. After a bad experience at a boarding kennel we couldn’t send our dog back to a kennel. We needed something different. Anton gave Milton some organic pumpkin in his food to help with his digestion and made sure he was properly hydrated. We are truly grateful. We will continue to take Milton to Anton when we go on trips. We don’t worry at all while we were gone. Anton kept Milton safe and hydrated.”

“This was our first time boarding our dogs with Nakul and we're very pleased with his care. Ziggy and Ozzie were well taken care of. We appreciate Nakul's patience with Ozzie who is grumpy and growls at strangers. Nakul found out that a piece of chicken can help you befriend even a grump like Ziggy. Thank you Nakul, we look forward to boarding them with you again.”

“Stefanile is a great sitter. She was incredibly accommodating and patient in dealing with my dog—a rather shy, introverted, and somewhat challenging dog. Given her deep understanding of canine personalities and traits, as well as her extensive experience as a sitter, I was able to entrust Chaco to her care with peace of mind. She sent updates and photos, making communication very easy. Thank you!”

“Sally did an awesome job taking care of Wally, she would send pics and videos letting us know all was going well. We felt very comfortable leaving our fur baby with Sally, she will always be our dog sitter morning forward.”

“It was our first time having to leave our dog which was so stressful for me. Ashwin sent pictures and updates on our boy the whole time. When we went to pick him up, she seemed like she was going to sincerely miss him. She’s going to be our go to for any travels.”

“Very happy how he took care of Obi. Obi liked him so much from the start and did not want to leave lol. Will definitely be using his services in the future and fully recommend.”

“Starlee is always nervous with new people and animals. I can tell Natalie cares a lot and did a great job making her feel comfortable. When I came to pick her up she was a lot more relaxed and happy. I will definitely be using her services again.”

“We absolutely love having Virginie, Max, and their family watch our St. Bernard, Molly while we are traveling. The experience was seamless and they were very communicative and upfront about taking us as a client and working with us on any concerns that either of us had. Molly seemed to love her experience with them and their home. They made it comfortable for her and she loved their backyard! We could not recommend this family more highly!”

About: I’m Mani, and my daughter Indigo (9) and I are genuinely obsessed with animals. I grew up with dogs, cats, guinea pigs — you name it — so this isn’t new territory for me at all. We travel a lot and with it just being the two of us, having a pet full time doesn’t really work for our life right now. Rover kind of solves everything though — Indigo gets to stop asking me for a puppy every other day, and we both get to pour love into animals we actually care about. Your pet will be in a home where they’re not just tolerated — they’re the whole event! I’m available weekends, Mondays, Fridays, and Thursday evenings — so plenty of time to love on your furry (or non-furry) friends. Evenings throughout the week can be discussed. We treat every pet like they’re our own. At our place, your pet gets real attention — not just supervision. On walks and drop-ins, I stay attentive and keep to their routine. Growing up with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs taught me how to actually read animals, so you can drop the nerves at the door.

If you want nightly care throughout the week and pet sitting during family trips. I can definitely coordinate with your schedule or if there are any special needs pets. “Sumaira took such good care of my cat, tortoise, and chicken. She sent great pictures and they all looked happy. Appreciated her attention to detail and letting me know a light had burned out. Timely daily feeding and visits! Will definitely ask Sumaira to take care of my zoo again!”

About: Hello! My name is Valeria and I have been professionally taking care of dogs for over 3 years now. I am opening my client list from my regular clients to taking new clients :) I love taking care of animals and am looking forward to meeting new doggies! My favorite way to take care of doggies is by spending time showering them with love and attention! I am also able to take them on walks, play fetch, and keep them mentally stimulated by practicing their commands you’ve taught them! One of my central focuses is keeping your doggie safe while entrusted in my care. An example of how I do this is by testing out their leash training while secured in your home before taking them outside to ensure me and your pup mesh well together in the outside world full of exciting smells and sounds for your doggie! Please let me know if you have any further questions about me or my availability, as well as scheduling a meet & greet! :)

About: My name is Dominic Jordan, and thank you for considering me to care for your pet(s). I provide pet sitting and care throughout the Bay Area and greater Sacramento area, and I’m always happy to travel to your home to keep your furry family members comfortable. I’ve spent nearly a decade working hands-on in the pet care industry, caring for dogs of all breeds, cats of all personalities, and even a variety of small animals and farm animals. My approach is calm, patient, and animal-centered. I meet pets where they are and make sure they feel safe, understood, and cared for. In addition to pet care, I’ve worked in In-Home Supportive Services, private security, and forest conservation with State Parks and the California Conservation Corps. These roles strengthened my sense of responsibility, awareness, and ability to keep both pets and homes safe and well-tended. When I’m not caring for animals, I’m usually behind a camera, drawing, or gaming. I’m naturally a homebody, which makes me a great fit for pets who enjoy companionship. I’m also happy to take and share high-quality photos of your pets during my stay, so you can feel connected, no matter where you are. Your pets will be treated with patience, respect, and genuine affection, and your home will be watched over with the same care. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family!

“Elaine is a special person. She just loves animals and she treated my 3 cats just as if there were her own! I have 1 cat that is quite shy around strangers and he came out for her day 1. I have another cat that was feral during his first 9 months of life and he was hiding but actually came out for her on day 4 which was amazing!! He has not done that for any of my family members! She is knowledgeable and wanting to always learn more. She is good about literally spending time playing with my cats as well! I would definitely recommend her and I will use her again!”

“Nakul was the best thing that happened to my pups. I have many dogs and thus have worked with many sitters. But Nakul was the best sitter I have ever worked with. I needed to board my 18 dogs at the last moment because of some issues with my property. Nakul not only agreed at the 11th hour, but also took care of them like his own. All of my 18 dogs had a room for themselves and they had a big yard to run around. He took a great picture of my dogs all in one frame which I have never been able to. He is truly a dog whisperer. Nakul has earned a client for life. 100% recommended.”

About: My goal is that your fur babies are loved, safe, and taken care of as if they were in their own home. I have 21 years of experience caring for neighbors’, family, and my own pups of all sizes and breeds, including dispensing medication or providing special care as needed. I am available every day for day care or boarding. I am a homemaker and have plenty of time to care for your fur babies. I will take them twice a day for walks and will provide lots of love, affection, and playtime. I have a fenced backyard in my house where they can run free. I also have plenty of space to feed pups separately as needed.
About: My name is Carlos and caring for animals has always been a central part of my life and home. My wife and I share our household with two dogs, George the puggle and Charlie the pug, along with several rescue and foster cats. Because of this we are very familiar with managing a multi animal household, different temperaments, and routines that help pets feel calm and secure. I have experience caring for animals at many stages of life, from energetic puppies and kittens that need structure and guidance to senior pets that require medication, mobility support, and extra patience. Living in Antioch has also shown me how many animals come from difficult situations, which is why I approach pet care with a calm, structured, and compassionate mindset. I can assist with puppy and kitten development, senior pet care, medication administration, transportation for vet visits or outings, and basic grooming support. My wife and I are comfortable administering medications and maintaining feeding routines including weight management diets. I also regularly help care for rescue and foster animals, which has given me experience working with pets that need extra patience and reassurance. My goal is always to provide safe, attentive care so pet owners can feel confident their animals are in good hands. For the safety and well being of all animals involved, guardian type breeds require a Meet and Greet before any booking is accepted. Additional fees may apply for puppies under one year old and dogs over 60 lbs due to the additional supervision they often require. If your pet has behavioral challenges or comes from a difficult background, I am still happy to offer advice or guidance even if I am unable to accept the booking. I currently work remotely so I have plenty of availability throughout most days of the week and on weekends to look after any pet that requires care. We provide cage-less boarding where they would have their own space. We will never force them to mingle with our own pets but will encourage the socialism and play time with us.

I also will provide status reports and any phone conversation as desired. Daily

Thank you!”

“Riley usually has separation anxiety during the boarding and doesn’t eat in a couple days. However, Sabrina did an amazing job and Riley got used to the environment and had the meal. I will definitely have Sabrina as Riley’s sitter next time!”
“Stacy was such a great fit for our healer with big feelings! She is knowledgeable, kind and easy to communicate with. Stacy sent pics and updates - and it was clear at pickup that Cali enjoyed her stay.”
“We had an amazing experience boarding Banana with Justine. She’s super nice and knowledgeable about caring for dogs. She was awesome at sending pictures and video updates. She has a wonderful yard and house with plenty of room to play. Banana had a great time staying with Justine.”

“This was our first time leaving our nearly 3 year old dog with someone and Lisa was fantastic. She and her home are so dog friendly. Communication was great including working with us to facilitate a slightly earlier than planned pick up. We’ll definitely be using Lisa again.”

“This was a great experience!! This was the first time our dog stayed with someone we didn't know and Ruth made the process so easy. We felt so relaxed knowing our dog was not only well taken care of but loved! Ruth sent constant updates and photos to keep us informed. We would definitely return and highly recommend Ruth!!”

About: I've had dogs and cats (and also horses and goats) all my life. I have a flexible schedule and is willing to work with you and your pet’s needs. Having one myself, I specialize in French bulldogs. I don't discriminate on the breed but I completely understand their sometimes difficult needs and also their funny little stubborn personalities. While I don't have many reviews on Rover, I have many repeating clients that I can provide testimonials from if needed. My work schedule is very flexible. I also have a dog door that goes to the backyard if they're comfortable with using that, otherwise somebody is almost always home. We don't leave dogs unattended. I live in a house with a fenced backyard. I also live very close to parks if your dog prefers those. Also we have a fenced in area that I can let the dogs roam. I also have a friendly dog so if your dog needs a friend he’s more than willing. They can also easily be separated and mine crated
