“Tim was an excellent with Luna. I went on vacation for 12 days and was very responsive when it came to updates and pictures. Luna looked like she had a great time with all of the outdoor adventures Tim took her on. Most definitely a reliable dog sitter.”

“It's refreshing to meet someone who loves dogs as much as my fiance and I do. With Ron it was very apparent that he would treat our fur babies with the love they deserve. Any worry you may have about leaving your pet with a stranger will dissipate the second you meet Ron. He took in all 3 of our dogs without hesitation and he took such good care of them and updated us with pictures and stories of their good behavior. Ron will be our first choice when we need a dog sitter again!”

About: Dogs have been part of my daily life for over 10 years, from raising my own to caring for friends’ and family’s pups whenever they travel. I know firsthand how hard it is to leave your dog with just anyone, so I treat every dog in my care the way I’d want mine treated: with patience, attention, and a routine that doesn’t change just because you’re away. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so your dog isn’t alone for long stretches or squeezed into a rushed visit. I’m here, present, and available throughout the day. Daily walks are part of the routine, and I’ll tailor the distance and pace to what’s best for your dog, whether that’s a gentle stroll or a longer outing. I have experience with all sizes and energy levels, from Yorkies to Labs and Huskies, and I’m comfortable administering scheduled medication, treats, and meals on your routine. My home has a fenced yard for safe off-leash time, no other pets or kids to navigate, and dogs are welcome on the furniture because let’s be honest, that’s where they want to be anyway! I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages while your pup is with me, so you can relax knowing they’re happy and well cared for. Work from home and have a flexible schedule. I take walks daily and can cater to the distance and pace of your dogs needs. Available for short term or long term care. No kids or other pets. I have a fenced backyard and lots of parks close by. I take walks daily and happy to take your dog along for the exercise. 🐾
“She took great care of my dog and sent me regular pictures and updates. He got fully brushed out while he was there and looked like he was having a great time. I’ll specifically use Filanthi again when I’m going out of town.”

About: I had a childhood cat, named Midnight for 5 years. I also took care of the other 3 cats in my parent's home. One that was a short-legged cat named Mufasta and gave birth to a litter of kittens that I was also in charge of. There is an old friend who I watched their Maine Coon inside my home for a month. I only had my Ava at the time and had to keep them separated due to the Maine Coon being violent towards other animals and my children. Even though it was rough and suffered deep injuries in my left leg in the end. I stuck through keeping the cat for that entire month because my friend needed time to get a new home situated.

“Great sitter! Excellent communication, reliable, trustworthy and made sure my cats were well taken care of while I was away for 12 days. She even made extra trips to my place to make sure everything was running smoothly when there was a hiccup with my automated litter box.”

About: I work from home, so dogs in my care are never left alone and always have company, attention, and love throughout the day. They get multiple walks, dog park time, a calm cozy environment, toys, music, and their own comfortable space to relax. They’re also welcome on the furniture and can sleep in bed if that’s what they’re used to. I truly see dogs as family members, not pets. I treat them the way I would treat my own child — with patience, affection, protection, and lots of care. I love having them near me while I work, and I make sure they feel safe, included, and deeply loved every moment they’re here. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work from home, so I’m around and available throughout the day. That means your pet gets more attention, regular potty breaks, and consistent companionship—not just a quick visit. On a typical day, I can plan morning, midday, and evening walks/potty breaks, plus playtime and feeding around my work schedule. I keep things structured but flexible, so I can match your pet’s routine (especially helpful for puppies, seniors, or pets that need extra check-ins). Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my priority is always the same: safety, routine, and a calm environment. I’m detail-oriented, I follow your instructions closely, and I keep you updated so you feel confident the whole time. In your home (drop-ins / house sitting): I stick to your pet’s normal schedule for feeding, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. I do safety checks (doors/gates secured, leashes/harnesses fitted correctly, no access to unsafe items). I keep the space tidy and stress low—especially for pets who do best in their familiar environment. I send photo/video updates and notes after visits. In my home (boarding / daycare): Calm, supervised environment with plenty of attention since I work from home. Frequent potty breaks, exercise, and structured downtime. I keep pets separated when needed (feeding time, high energy, or if a dog prefers their own space). Only pet-safe areas are accessible—no unsafe foods, small objects, or risky spaces. My safety rules, always: I don’t take dogs off-leash unless it’s a securely fenced area and you’ve approved it. I use positive reinforcement (no harsh methods). I watch for signs of stress or illness and communicate quickly if anything seems off. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable and for you to feel totally at ease.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m loving, dependable, and treat every dog like my own! I currently have a 1yr old heeler who is a handful and has shown me I absolutely love dogs which makes me a perfect fit for your furry friend. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I do it daily with my own puppy from hiking, walking, and swimming I am always doing something. So for me adding taking another pet for a walk is never a problem.( I will never walk your pet with my own unless you’ve approved of such). I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for every pet. I follow their normal routine the best I can so they feel safe and calm the entire time their in my care!

About: Hello! I’m a lifelong dog lover and artist currently spending some time in the beautiful Reno/Tahoe area for art research and inspiration. My heart belongs to animals. My beloved Yorkie was my sidekick for 15 wonderful years, and we spent countless days exploring the outdoors together. Because I’m currently traveling and focusing on my art, I have a flexible schedule and a lot of love to give to your fur babies while I'm in town! I treat every pet like family. Whether your dog loves high-energy outdoor adventures, a relaxing stroll, or just quiet cuddle time while I sketch, I happily match their energy and routine. 📸 Stay Connected: You can expect regular updates, photos, and videos so you always know your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. My Skills & Services 🐕 Dog Walking & Outdoor Play: Ready to explore local trails or just stroll around the block. 💖 Endless Love & Attention: Lots of snuggles, positive reinforcement, and companionship. 🍲 Feeding & Meal Prep: Experienced with specific dietary instructions and schedules. 💊 Medication Support: Comfortable maintaining moderate medication schedules. 🐈 Cat Friendly: Meow spoken here, too! I're happy to hang out with your feline friends. Your pet will always be treated with the utmost kindness, patience, and the same deep love I gave my own dog for 15 years. I can't wait to meet them! I am a self-employed artist and director of a small nonprofit, which gives me an incredibly flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. Much of my work involves painting landscapes—capturing the beautiful mountains, lakes, and high-desert light of the Reno/Tahoe area. Because my art keeps me outdoors, I am always ready to take dogs along for fresh-air strolls, sniffing adventures, and outdoor playtime. When I am working from my laptop or sketching, pets in my care receive relaxed companionship, lots of attention, and plenty of snuggles. My flexible routine allows me to easily accommodate weekday or weekend care, house sitting, and extended stays. Your pet will seamlessly become a part of my creative, peaceful day! Since I am currently in the Reno/Tahoe area for art research, I'll mainly be focusing on House Sitting (in the client's home), Dog Walking, or Drop-In Visits rather than hosting pets at my residence (however, some exceptions can be made). Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my absolute priorities. Whether I am house-sitting in your home or visiting for walks, I treat your home with the utmost respect and your pet like family. Safety Outdoors: Because the Reno/Tahoe area has beautiful wildlife (like deer, coyotes, and bears), I keep all dogs securely on-leash during our walks unless we are in a designated, securely fenced dog park and you have explicitly approved off-leash time. I am also highly mindful of the pavement temperature and hydration during warm high-desert days. A Familiar, Relaxing Atmosphere: Inside your home, I strive to keep your pet’s environment calm, positive, and consistent. I love providing relaxed companionship—whether I'm sketching nearby or enjoying quiet cuddle time. Following Their Routine: I strictly follow your pet's established routine, including precise feeding schedules, favorite walking routes, and any necessary medication tracking. If your pet uses a crate, playpen, or has specific house rules, I will mirror them exactly. You can rest easy knowing your home is secure, and your fur baby is receiving dedicated, loving, and highly attentive care while you're away!

Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my priority, as I continually seek to improve my skills and connect with them on a personal level. Expect me to go above and beyond, treating your beloved pet as if they were my own. I’m currently working part time hours so my availability is flexible. I am available throughout the week and over the weekend as well. Let me know when you would need me and I can see how I can make that work for you. I have one dog and a cat at home. We have a very safe backyard that is surrounded by a fence and we make sure to watch them whenever they go outside. We make sure that when we leave the house that we’re not gone for too long so that our dog can go to the bathroom and that both our dog and cat are comfortable and emotionally secure.

“My dog loved hanging out with Aaron and family for the week! Pictures and updates were sent everyday, and my buddy came back home happy with no problems. Very grateful to Aaron and Nicole for looking after him so well!!”

“Tim was an excellent with Luna. I went on vacation for 12 days and was very responsive when it came to updates and pictures. Luna looked like she had a great time with all of the outdoor adventures Tim took her on. Most definitely a reliable dog sitter.”

“Amazing sitter! Tasha was so welcoming and thought of every detail when taking care of our dog. He had the biggest smile and really loved playing with her other dogs . Would rebook again!”

“Theo had an active, delightful day with Danielle. Danielle sent me pictures and text throughout the day to let me know how my boy was doing. Danielle is so kind and really understood the personality of my terrier. Just a wonderful experience all around.”

“Ivy took great care of our Maltese during our family trip in Reno. Her location is very convenient for those visiting the area, especially if staying at the Nugget or the GSR. Ivy was very loving and patient with our dog and eventually he warmed up to Ivy after less than two days. We will definitely book with Ivy again for future visits in Reno.”

“We just picked up our two large dogs from being with Madelyn for two weeks. I had never left them for that long before, so I was worried but she sent us updates daily and it looked like they were having so much fun, I wasn't sure they would want to come home! We have a one year old and a 13 year old so Madelyn was fantastic accomodating both of their needs. She met us in Truckee for both pick up and drop off. She is super sweet and I highly recommend her. My dogs will be thrilled for their next visit.”

About: I have been caring for pets my entire life, but only for 18 years professionally. I have worked as a dog trainer, dog groomer, a veterinary assistant and a boarding clinic employee. Currently, I teach Puppy classes, Obedience 101, and Rally at the Truckee Meadows Dog Training Club, I am an emergency foster for bottle puppies/kittens for the Humane Society, and I am home almost all the time. I have many years of experience with dogs, cats, and livestock animals. I am also capable of caring for birds, fish, and reptiles. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats who are so very loved and spoiled. I let my own dogs out every 2-4 hours and take them on 2 walks a day while its cooler outside. I do training routine practices with them at least once a day because they are active in classes at the local dog club. I can care for dogs at your home or they are welcome to come to mine! At this time, I am flexible with what works best for you.
“Yvonne was amazing with our dogs. She spoiled them and treated them as if they were her own. She updated us with pictures and description of their day. She took the time to get to know them and their personalities. She took them to the park for walks and play time. She is definitely trustworthy and caring .”

“Millie had another great stay with Destiny! We received daily updates with photos and videos and Destiny was always easy to communicate with. She was super accommodating with an early drop off time due to our early flight departure and helped us feel at ease through our whole trip :)”
