I am available full-time four days out of the week. I am available to go on walks/hikes with your dog during the week and/or weekends. I would be available for overnight stays during the weekends. About: I had a beagle from age 6 to 22. From 22 to 36 I had a Maine Coon. I currently have 2 cute ginger cats and a fat grey and white cat. Everyone was a rescue! I own a small business and work from home. I can get to your home in the Elk Grove area very easily and quickly to visit with your critters. We prepare fresh meals for our cats. Animal sitting has been a big thing of ours since we can remember and now that we have adopted Bingo, it has pushed us to do this full-time. We have had Bingo for about 3 years with no issues and no emergency pet visits. She is healthy and lively albeit a little lazy. You can say she is at the top of our food chain in our household. We live in an area where there are trails right next to our house for walks and the park is a block away. We also have a minivan that can take the doggies to the park if they have mobility issues. We are equipped in handling pushy dogs when they are walking and can control their behaviors. Additionally, we can read some body cues from dogs. About: I live in the Sacramento Delta in a quiet neighborhood. Great neighborhood for walks and a nice fenced corner lot yard for your pup to run around in. I live with my elderly father who enjoys meeting new doggy friends. 24 hr supervision since I work remotely! I’m an early riser and enjoy morning walks. Your doggy will recieve a good amount of outdoor time and have an active and stimulating day. I’m comfortable with your dog sleeping in bed with me but respect if you prefer them to sleep in a crate. I work remotely so I have no issue staying at your house as well!
About: I have been in the veterinary field for over 30 years and in all those years I’ve also been house sitting and I love it. I currently have my days free and I’m pretty flexible to do check ins and exercise. I’ll also consider doing sleep overs if need be. I watch over the animals as if they are my own. I never leave them unattended outside. I make sure the animals are very comfortable.

For overnight stays, I usually stay in the guest room or designated area of the home, and many pets enjoy sleeping nearby or spending time with me throughout the day. I’m very respectful of your home and prioritize cleanliness, safety, and communication. I make sure doors are securely locked, pets are supervised carefully, and feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and potty breaks are handled consistently. I also pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and comfort level to help reduce stress and keep them happy during your absence.
