“They've done it again! My little Miss Lemon was so happy when I picked her up, she went right by me. This was her second stay. I wish I could put into words, the difference in her. She's a timid rescue girl. It's just me and her at home. The interacting with other dogs and people has changed her so much. She's my baby and I've never left her. When she's there Lauren sends pictures and updates which is so comforting. I can see the happiness. She thrives there! I'm going to do my best to give her "sleep-overs" for a couple days a month. It's been so good for her. Thank y'all so much 🍋💙”

“Second time leaving my fur baby with Brandi and he was so excited going back! She sends updates and he is genuinely so happy there. I would continue to recommend Brandi to anyone I know!”
“Very happy with Jennifer looking after our dog. She took great photos of him and sent us updates of his stay. We just picked him up and he's one happy and very tired dog! We will definitely have her look after him again. Highly recommend!”

“David was very easy to work with and responded quickly to our questions/ concerns. Our dogs had access to a few enclosed acres on the property which was great for the dogs...a beautiful setting as well. Our 3 dogs got along well with David's dogs and another visiting dog. Most important, I felt our dogs were in good hands with David.”

“Leslie is a wonderful person who took great care of our two dachsunds. She is also an amazing chef - We will definitely work with her again soon and highly recommend her to anyone.”

“It started out as a week stay with Bernadette, but I had an emergency and needed to extend a week, then I needed to go in for an emergency surgery- so I needed her help for another week. Three weeks from the day I dropped off my doggie and She helped me with something that could have been extremely difficult. I am so grateful for Bernadette. She is an animal person and it shows. Thank you so much and Happy New Year.”

“Had a really good experience with Patricia while we were in out of town. She was reliable, easy to communicate with, and took great care of Bo while we were away. We appreciated the updates and knowing she was being looked after. It made traveling a lot less stressful, and we came home to a happy dog. Would definitely use her and her nice family again!”

“Angela took absolutely fabulous care of River while I was away! From chicken dinners, trips to the dog park for fetch, and even adventures downtown for pup cups. River was a happy dog and loved every minute with her. I would absolutely trust Angela again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing Rover sitter!”

About: I will spoil your dog with attention and provide you with complete peace of mind. You can rest assured that your dog is safe and happy and getting the care you specify (such as health needs or special diet) and the love your dog wants (games, walks, toys, treats, hugs, and other canine amusements). My work is part-time, online, and at my own pace, so I can easily shift my attention to your dog's needs for walks and playtime. I have a small fenced yard with artificial grass, and there is a large park at the end of the street, two or three small parks in the neighborhood, and a 2-mile trail to downtown. I have whatever a dog needs but ideally, pets should arrive with their own favorite "furniture," toys, and treats.
About: Hello animal lovers - I have benefitted from Rover for dog sitting and realize it's something I'd love to do myself. My husband (a social worker) and I are both dog lovers and have a dog (a Frenchie) as well. I work from home (I run a marketing agency I started 12 year ago) and alas much of typical day I'm on zoom, and treasure the breaks for walking and loving on the dogs. While new to Rover, if been helping out friends and neighbors with dog care and logistics and sharing the love for years I'm reliable, work from home, and would love to know how you could use some help. Currently offering to sit or board one dog at a time or arrange prescheduled walks. I'll treat them like family. Comfortable with dogs of many sizes and personalities, and happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! Our dog Fiona, a frenchie, plays well with others and has some unique needs including no rough play + daily medicine needs so we're familiar with special rules and medical needs. We do a morning walk, a mid day walk, an "after work" walk and a before bed walk. I work from home so am genrrally around all day. While flexible, I imagine at least initially the primary offering will be to host and care for your dog at our place but am open to house sitting if there's a great fit, I work from home. I can host your dog weekdays and weekends but know on weekends we may have friends (and sometimes friends with dogs) stop by. We have a fenced in deck otherwise for excercise we take leashed walks. I currently am only offering care in my own home and plan to only host one additional dog overnight at a time. Ask me any questions you'd like.

I have no doubt that Daisy is in good hands with Melissa .”

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and understand them well. My sweet kitty just passed away at 20 years old and I’d love to help take care of yours. I frequently travel for work for weeks on end, but when I am home and able to cat-sit, my schedule can be completely flexible. Day / night. Since I only offer cat-sitting, I doubt that this section about my own house will matter much. Cats don’t like to be relocated for temporary purposes.

“Andrea is an awesome pet sitter and I can’t recommend her enough! She did drop ins to check on our two young cats while we were gone and gave them lots of care. She always posted great pictures and notes from her visits and it made it so nice to see our cats while we were away. Thanks Andrea!!!”

About: I grew up with many animals in our household from dogs, cats, turtles, birds, fish, and bunnies and always had a unique connection to them. I have an innate empathetic understanding with them. I have experience with training younger dogs, as well as taking care of elderly dogs. I have experience providing necessary medication if needed, as well as lots of love and snuggles and adventurous hikes or leisurely walks for elderly animals. Currently I have a cat and would love to have another dog but for now getting to take care of other people's dogs or cats would satisfy my desire to be around lots of animals. I am currently a full-time student and I work remotely online so my schedule is flexible and I can work from anywhere. I would prefer to watch dogs and cats in your home. I like to communicate with the owner of the pet and get a clear understanding if there is a particular feeding or walk schedule, as well as if medications are required, or crate preferences. I am happy to send a photo of your animal baby each day if you like daily check ups. I love communication so trust and understanding are developed between myself and the owner.
“Brianna was a fantastic sitter for our cat during a 2 week vacation, I highly recommend hiring her! She was great with daily communication and our cat seemed to really love her. She also helped with a few small tasks around the house (mail, watering a few plants etc) which we appreciated.”

About: I've cared for dogs for friends over the years, and it's always been a rewarding experience. I'm excited to spend my summer meeting new dogs and providing them with loving, dependable care. I grew up with dogs and have experience with puppies as well—we once took in a stray who turned out to be pregnant, so I got firsthand experience helping care for a litter. Being around dogs has always been a big part of my life, and I enjoy giving them the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. I have a pretty flexible schedule and I can work with whatever your schedule is as long as I have a heads up. I am off work all summer so I can plan around things! I can also take your dog to the groomers etc. I have a fully fenced yard where your dog can safely play, plus a nearby trail for walks and a green space just a couple of blocks away for even more outdoor time. I provide attentive, personalized care and genuinely enjoy spending time playing with dogs, taking them on walks, and making sure they feel comfortable and happy. I'm also happy to come to your home for walks or drop-in visits. Whether your pup has a specific routine, feeding schedule, medication needs, or favorite activities, I'll follow your instructions carefully to ensure they receive the same loving care they're used to. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, well cared for, and loved while you're away.

“Another great Willa Walk week! Exceptional care especially with providing extra care and love while Miss Willa heals from her hiking injury last week which resulted in an emergency room visit with suture procedure. Andrea truly is a Willa whisperer and just so talented, caring, and a natural intuit. Huzzah!”

About: I love all animals, especially dogs. I'm a very active person so walking a lot is no issue for me. I enjoy hiking with dogs. I’ve worked in many dog shelters taking care of dogs of all different ages. I have also been a dog walker/sitter with rover and wag for about 6 years now. With me your puppers are in good hands :) I am working on a farm from 8-4 M-Th so weekends are more ideal. I like to take pups out first thing in the morning for a little stroll and on weekends I usually spend more time relaxing at home. I’m always checking in on them and giving them love whether that looks like playing with them or giving them a cuddle. I also check the water bowl multiple times a day to make sure they are hydrated. I try to have regular feeding times as well.

About: I began my seriously joyous devotion to animals at the age of 11, as an SF ZOO volunteer in the barnyard, where I learned to care for a variety of animals, from miniature horses to coyotes to parrots, and more. I have continued to attract rescuing wayward beasts of all kinds, providing them with excellent love and care. I am a natural nurturer, the animals feel at home with me wherever we are. I have worked as a cat, dog and multi-pet sitter for many years, up until now, only through personal referrals. I am a kundalini yoga teacher, craniosacral and polarity therapist. My son is grown and I have a very flexible schedule. I love to get out with the dogs for long walks and if they don’t mind the car, we might get to the beach. I love nature, the outdoors and finding out how best to care for your animal so that they don’t miss you too much. I absolutely appreciate forming long term client relationships so that you and your animals can relax and have fun. I am self-employed and can accommodate your needs. When I am hired for a pet-sit, this is my focus and priority. I can schedule all my other work around it. I have a lovely minimalist home for your pet, a small garden and plenty of leashed walking in the woods space for regular exercise. If a dog is ok with car rides, I’m happy to take them to the beach.

About: I started dog walking and petsitting in 2022. I'm great at reinforcing recall and working with all kinds of dogs, from independent off-leash to dogs that are prone to separation anxiety. I’m the perfect person to hang out with and cuddle your furry friend while you’re away. I am currently working from home and part time at that so I have plenty of energy to devote to making sure your furry friend is well taken care of. I'm fairly active and get at least 2 walks in a day and enjoy hiking as well. I usually take dogs on walks 2x daily unless otherwise instructed. I am home for most of the day and am typically not gone from the home for more than a couple hours at a time. Love having the pets sleep with me and venture out to hiking spots or day trips if that is something that suits them.
“Kaiel took my sweet but reactive pup out for a walk and fed her dinner while I was out of town. Kaiel was super responsive to all my messages, came over for a meet and great ahead of time, was really great with my pup, and sent lot of photos and a nice message after the walk. I highly recommend!”

He’s now able to walk without his wheelchair. I’ve also taken pittbull training classes with them and am knowledgeable about training cues. I currently work as a distribution sales executive, and work from home, so have free time in the afternoons and weekends. I have a baby and two dogs of my own and would still be able to take some time to visit other dogs in my area. I can check on pets during the day or while clients are on vacation . About: I am a kind, reliable, loving college student who loves spending time with furry friends. I have two dogs of my own and have had a few felines as well in my household. I am honest and value honesty and integrity as well as family. Our pets are a part of our family and I know from experience it can be hard leaving them home alone for a week or couple of hours. I am here to make that easier by relieving the stress of the unkown of what is happening with your pet at home by being with them and taking excellent care of them. I am available week days and weekend to sit, walk or visit your furry friends from 6am-8pm which give me plenty of time to play and make sure your pets are taken care of.

About: Walks through Armstrong Redwoods are a favorite activity. I have a large yard and a dog friendly house. I have a couple of years experience working in a veterinary clinic giving me experience medicating animals, including giving injections. I have a pool for dogs who love to swim! I was a volunteer and puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence back in the mid to late 1980's, and a Puppy Petter for Assistance Dog Institute in the early 2000's. I've also kept busy with boarding in my home for friends and acquaintances. I love dogs!! I have Sundays and Mondays off from my full time job, but I can fit in a nice walk after 4 pm most other days. When I have someone's dog, they get my full attention; we play, exercise, snuggle. My focus is providing an enriching experience for your dog .
“Melissa was so thoughtful and kind to both Daisy and I. It was our first time leaving Daisy since we adopted her. Melissa took the time to let us visit her home for a meet-and -greet and sniffs of her property a few days before Daisy’s stay. Melissa was so thoughtful and attentive to Daisy’s needs. I have no doubt that Daisy is in good hands with Melissa .”

“Crystal was great! She took wonderful care of my golden retriever, Shawn. She sent cute pictures and updates daily! After playing with her dog Rosie and a couple other dogs she was watching, Shawn came back a happy sleepy boy! Thank you for taking such good care of my furry buddy!”
About: I have several years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. As a lead kennel technician, I’ve cared for dogs in both daycare and boarding settings, ensuring their safety, health, and well being. My experience includes supervising group play, recognizing canine body language, administering medications, feeding specialized diets, maintaining clean and sanitary environments, and responding calmly in high pressure situations. I’m passionate about providing compassionate care and creating a safe, positive experience for every dog while building trust with both pets and their owners. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine and something I genuinely enjoy. I prioritize making sure every pet receives the attention, exercise, enrichment, and care they need to stay happy and healthy. Whether it’s feeding, administering medications, maintaining a clean environment, or providing playtime and companionship, I understand the importance of consistency and reliability. Caring for animals isn’t just part of my work. it’s something I’m passionate about and committed to every day. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in a client’s home, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while maintaining their normal routine. In my home, pets have access to a large, secure backyard where they can run, play, explore, or simply relax in the sun. I also enjoy taking them on walks through my quiet neighborhood to provide exercise and mental stimulation. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, exercise, and any special routines, while making sure their home is respected and their pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and quality care.

“Kaiel was amazing with our Bernese Mountain Dog, Bliss! We received pictures and great updates throughout Bliss’ stay. Kaiel worked with our schedule while we were in town and we are so grateful! We will definitely be reaching back out when we’re in town next!”

“Sheila was incredibly kind and flexible. Her home was a place filled with a lot of warmth and love! She was always super prompt when replying to me and sent me many photos of my dog while she was staying there. I will 100% book with Sheila again. Thank you!!!”

“Earl was great to work with! He is easy going and great with animals. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times. I would definitely recommend this provider and we will surely be using him again in the future.”

“Susan was an amazing caretaker for Ryder this past weekend! She took him on several fun walks and made it feel like a little vacation for him. We loved receiving her updates and adorable photos throughout his stay. Ryder was clearly very well cared for, and we would absolutely love to have Susan help with him again in the future.”
