About: Hello animal lovers - I have benefitted from Rover for dog sitting and realize it's something I'd love to do myself. My husband (a social worker) and I are both dog lovers and have a dog (a Frenchie) as well. I work from home (I run a marketing agency I started 12 year ago) and alas much of typical day I'm on zoom, and treasure the breaks for walking and loving on the dogs. While new to Rover, if been helping out friends and neighbors with dog care and logistics and sharing the love for years I'm reliable, work from home, and would love to know how you could use some help. Currently offering to sit or board one dog at a time or arrange prescheduled walks. I'll treat them like family. Comfortable with dogs of many sizes and personalities, and happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! Our dog Fiona, a frenchie, plays well with others and has some unique needs including no rough play + daily medicine needs so we're familiar with special rules and medical needs. We do a morning walk, a mid day walk, an "after work" walk and a before bed walk. I work from home so am genrrally around all day. While flexible, I imagine at least initially the primary offering will be to host and care for your dog at our place but am open to house sitting if there's a great fit, I work from home. I can host your dog weekdays and weekends but know on weekends we may have friends (and sometimes friends with dogs) stop by. We have a fenced in deck otherwise for excercise we take leashed walks. About: I grew up with all kinds of animals including cats, dogs, chickens, goats, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and the list goes on! I'm comfortable around all animals, and I absolutely adore them all! I go to school full time, but I do not have classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. I can be available between classes on Wednesday and Thursday. There's lots of room for flexibility in my schedule. I will follow all instructions the owner provides. I can crate animals, take them on walks, feed, and water them, and keep them entertained throughout the day.

About: I had two dogs growing up and had to train them all on my own. I am not a professional trainer, but I am very patient and open to teaching your dog some new things. my work shifts are 7 days on and 14 days off. So I have a lot of free time to fill and have availability for longer stays. I live on a 5 acre property with three other homes next door. There is a fenced yard in the back and lots of free space to let your dog roam with my Nina.

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and understand them well. My sweet kitty just passed away at 20 years old and I’d love to help take care of yours. I frequently travel for work for weeks on end, but when I am home and able to cat-sit, my schedule can be completely flexible. Day / night. Since I only offer cat-sitting, I doubt that this section about my own house will matter much. Cats don’t like to be relocated for temporary purposes.
About: I specialize in care for senior kitties and/or ones need special attention through medications, subcutaneous fluids, etc. My last kitty lived to be 22 yrs old, I believe because of my care from specialized homeopathic remedies to chiropractic adjustments. My pets are family.

About: My family has always had pets my whole life, including a dog for 14 years and 3 cats. I was always dealt the task of taking care of them so I am very familiar with pet sitting. There are no kids in my house. My husky mix recently passed away suddenly in October and I miss her so much... Her name was Lily and she lived for her 2x/day walks. I do work full time and I am gone 8-5 unfortunately. So weekends would be best for me. I’d be willing to do weekdays but you would have to be comfortable with me being gone during the day. If it’s a cat, I would make sure they had care and attention when I am home.

I’ve worked in many dog shelters taking care of dogs of all different ages. I have also been a dog walker/sitter with rover and wag for about 6 years now. I like to take pups out first thing in the morning for a little stroll and on weekends I usually spend more time relaxing at home. I’m always checking in on them and giving them love whether that looks like playing with them or giving them a cuddle. I also check the water bowl multiple times a day to make sure they are hydrated. I try to have regular feeding times as well.

About: I have been taking care of animals more regularly over the last few years. Staying in peoples homes in order to ensure someone is there to take care of cats and dogs. Dog walking regularly, making sure they’re always fed and watered. Cleaning litter boxes, or cleaning up after dogs. About: I have cared for dogs since I was ten years old and I got my first puppy. After my college graduation I wanted another dog so bad but because of my travel for work I was always the one to just visit and baby sit my parents dogs for about the past 7 years. However, I'm changing careers now to be home more and have my very own puppy and luckily the chance to look after some other cute dogs as well! I live on a 7 acre property and have experience taking care of goats and chickens as well! I'm currently going back to school, mostly online so I have lots of time to drive to and play with your dog. On some days I do have to be at the SRJC in person but never for more than 4 hours at a time. I am an outdoorsy person and I love to go on long walks. I also have a SUV so if a walk in a park further away is desired I can easily transport them. I have a high energy puppy of my own that loves to play with other dogs big and small so he is always available to keep your dog company if they enjoy playing with others.

About: My family has always had pets my whole life, including a dog for 14 years and 3 cats. I was always dealt the task of taking care of them so I am very familiar with pet sitting. I was very good/reliable so this job seemed like a natural choice for me. I am currently working at a gym, but only 17 hours a week so this will be more of my main priority. Other than the part time job I am free! I have a fenced yard with a lot of room to play, as well as a safe and comfortable neighborhood street for walks. I also have 2 very friendly cats that stay either outside or in my Mother’s room.
About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs for 30 years. I have two Pittbull mixes , one boxer Pitt and one Pitt bulldog. The Pitt Bull Dog has intervertebral disk disease and used my training in occupational therapy and massage and did physical therapy with him myself so he could use his back legs again, after being paralyzed and needing a wheelchair. He’s now able to walk without his wheelchair. I’ve also taken pittbull training classes with them and am knowledgeable about training cues. I currently work as a distribution sales executive, and work from home, so have free time in the afternoons and weekends. I have a baby and two dogs of my own and would still be able to take some time to visit other dogs in my area. I can check on pets during the day or while clients are on vacation . I can take them on walks, let them out in the yard, play fetch , feed them , snuggle them, and even give medicine.

About: I began my seriously joyous devotion to animals at the age of 11, as an SF ZOO volunteer in the barnyard, where I learned to care for a variety of animals, from miniature horses to coyotes to parrots, and more. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and love them all. I often watched others dogs in the neighborhood growing up while people were out of town take care of friends and families dogs when they are traveling or at work I work from home and have a golden retriever who I already take care of. He loves to play with other dogs so loves whenever we get to god sit. I have a fenced yard and take the dogs for an afternoon and night walk on my lunch and after work. I have a dog of my own so my house is kept tidy with nothing that would be unsafe for dogs.
