We were understandably nervous about leaving Wizzy with an unfamiliar family for an extended 17-day stay, especially since it was her first time being boarded. Kushram immediately put us at ease by inviting us to a meet-and-greet before the boarding began. We had the pleasure of meeting his family, visiting their lovely home, and seeing the environment where Wizzy would be staying. This experience helped us build trust right from the start. Throughout our 17-day vacation, Kushram consistently sent videos and photos, along with thoughtful updates on Wizzy’s health and well-being. He was incredibly responsive via text and conversations, always replying within the hour. When we picked Wizzy up, all of her belongings were beautifully cleaned, organized, and packed—nothing missing, which we truly appreciated. Overall, the service was top-tier. “Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. Thank you for taking good care of our pup!”

About: I've always had a dog. I had dogs growing up, I adopted a dog when I moved out on my own, and I adopted another dog when my children were old enough. About: I’m a retired Air Force veteran with a calm, structured approach to animal care. I’ve worked with a wide variety of pets — from dogs and cats to smaller companions. I treat every animal like family, with patience, respect, and genuine care. I work weekdays, but I’m available in the evenings and fully open on weekends for boarding, walks, and drop-in visits. I prioritize consistency, attention, and making your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. Your pets will feel safe and comfortable here. I live in a clean, pet-friendly home with a fully fenced backyard that gives dogs plenty of room to explore and play safely. I keep a close eye on all animals at all times — no one is ever left unattended outside. Inside, pets have a calm, structured environment with cozy spaces for rest, fresh water available at all times, and lots of love and attention. I make sure every animal feels at home while keeping their safety and comfort as my top priority.

They have a beautiful back yard space perfect for dogs to run and play (and she must have done a lot of playing bc she came home very tired). I had a beloved dog for 11 years who lived with epilepsy, so I have extensive experience caring for a dog with special medical needs. At my home, pets have access to a large backyard for supervised play and exercise, along with all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay.

“Kasandra was great! We had an emergency trip that we have to go to and could not bring our little monster with us. Luckily, Kasandra was available. She was very responsive and enthusiastic about taking care of Willa (our little monster.) I’m so used to picking up Willa from sitters expecting she’ll be dirty, her fur attracts anything and everything, that usually I’ll end up giving her a bath. But this time was different. We are so surprised how clean she was considering all the walks and dog park trips she did. I would definitely bring Willa back to Kasandra for any of our dog sitting needs. Highly recommend!!”
