It is abundantly clear that Sophie, an energetic college student trying to earn some money on Rover, could not be more motivated to take phenomenal care of your cherished companion. About: Carly grew up with cats and they have always held a special place in her heart. The cats of her childhood were a somewhat wild things that would roam around her backyard in Tahoe most of the day, checking back in to deliver presents of dead chipmunks and birds, and to cuddle. She’ll never forget delivering the kittens of her cat, Callie the Calico, when she was about 13– a formative experience in her young life. I've been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I've always had at least 2-3 dogs at-home, at all times. These dogs have either stayed for just the day, overnight, or have boarded with me, the longest-boarding being 2-3 months with a German-Shepherd rescue, and we always have a blast. We always seek to find a routine so as to calm any boredom or stress throughout each day! We play, take walks, hang out in the grass yard / property, and go on 1-3 miles hikes in the local area! I love to spoil every dog I have the pleasure to be around, take scenic walks, and of course taking lots and lots of pictures. Daytime Adventures: Available most weeks days (7am-4pm, pickup or drop off) to take your pup on a hike, play yard games, and practice new skills. Sitting and Boarding: Kainoa and Carly are available for night and weekend sitting or longer-term boarding with 1 week advance notice. We live on a large property with a fenced-in yard, lush green-pasture for playtime, and complete with a shaded (puppy-proof) deck! I have no problem with crate-training, my goal is to give your pet what they need to be settled, calm, happy, curious, and playful… and then to give them lots of love and cuddles and kisses!

I’ve taken care of all sizes of dogs and of all ages, as well as mixed species pet families. I establish bonds with the animals I care for which can sometimes make it hard to say goodbye. I adore puppies due to their excitable nature and high energy! Cats have a special place in my heart because of the memories I share with the cats I’ve had but if you were to ask me if I was a cat or dog person; I’d say, “Why can’t you be both?” LGBTQIA+ friendly I graduated from college with a degree in anthropology and am now back in my hometown working a part-time contract job. My work schedule is very flexible so with enough time’s notice I can work any request into it. I am typically free to feed and walk pets in the morning and evening, as typical schedules go. Please let me know if there are any special requests or needs for your animal! I understand the importance of an animals happiness and mental state. I am very much used to taking care of pets in other’s houses and will follow the rules of the house perfectly. I have house sat in Kosher households before so I am familiar with the importance of following set rules. I am okay with pets that sleep on the bed with the owner or having to crate up a pet for the night. I am a private person and often keep to myself; I don’t cause a ruckus! I keep things nice and tidy just like the saying goes, “a place for everything and an everything in its place.”

About: I started taking care of pets when I was 11. I love animals and have always lived with pets. I have taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and lizards. About: I have been a animal lover for as long as I can remember! I got my first dog, Daisy, when I was 7 Years old and quickly found a passion for caring for animals. My family and friends have relied on me over the years to walk, feed, and love their pets. I even spent a few summers volunteering at the Humane Society in Marin County. During the pandemic I got my second dog. With the extra time on my hands, I focused on training Autumn. This training included socializing with other dogs and humans, introducing different environments and sounds, leash training and learning basic commands like siting and healing. My First dog is now 14 years old and requires a bit more senior care, this includes giving proper medications and more often bathroom breaks. I have a wide range experience with dogs of all ages and needs. I just moved back to Novato after graduating from UC Berkeley this past spring. My availability is flexible and would love the opportunity to care and play with your pups! I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily create safe space for your dog and provide a crate if need be. I have surrounding trails near my home if your dog is high energy and needs more physical activities provided. My goal is to create a safe, positive and loving environment for your pup.

About: I grew up with cats and dogs and even started my own dog walking business when I was ten.
