About: I have had a cat since I was 10, they quickly stole a spot in my heart. I grew up with dogs but since getting a cat gravitate in their direction. “John dropped in on our Bengal cat Murphy daily during our vacation in the Caribbean. We met face to face beforehand, and John was a nice, normal guy. Super responsive to text. The app notified us every time John started the drop-in visit and when it ended. John always fed, changed water, cleaned the litter, played with and pet Murphy. He sent me three or four pictures each day, and commented on how Murphy was doing. When we came home, everything was perfect, Murphy was happy, and John came by to return the key at my convenience. Five stars, you couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend.”

About: I have been walking and house sitting dogs and cats since I was about 15 years old off and on just to help my neighbors out (I’m currently 21). I’m very comfortable with animals and understanding of their weird quirks as I grew up on a farm. I have owned and fostered many different sizes of dogs, from Pyrenees to Chihuahua, I love them all! I originally from Yosemite, CA but I just moved to Arizona and would love to help anyone with their pet needs. I have just moved to Arizona from California and am new to the area but very eager to explore! I can be available day or night to be with your animals. I have my own car and no kids (just a husband lol) so I don’t have too much that’s holding me down! My husband is in the Marine Corps working in ATC on base. I will be completely respectful of a clients home and leave it just as it was found. I would also be completely respectful and caring towards any animal. My last job was as a housekeeper so I am no stranger to keeping a place tidy! I have pet sat for many neighbors and friends since I was 15 years old and am very comfortable around animals. About: Every pet I've had in the past was a member of my family and very much loved. I don't have a pet at the present time. I am retired so I have plenty of time to help pet owners with anything they might need. Keeps me busy with a purpose. I provide all types of care and meet and greets are required. I don't do puppies unless it's house sitting. FYI: If you book during a non-federal holiday (i.e. Palm Sunday, Easter, etc.) and also if travel is more than 20 miles from me, my prices might be adjusted upwards to accommodate. I have a fenced front/back yard, a large grass common area and a community dog park/run for pups to run and play in without a leash.

About: Always had pets growing up, primarily mid to large sized dogs and random critters. While I can't currently own any of my own, I would love to hang out with and give some attention to yours! Right now my schedule is 8 days on, 6 days off. So essentially, all day every day every other week I can be available for walking and sitting, or just home visits mid day to let pets ourlt for potty breaks etc. I do not currently have the ability to bring any pets to my home, but depending on the set up at the home of the client, monitored backyard runs or leashed walks would probably be the starting point of interacting with new pets.

If your dog is not potty trained or urinates out of anxiety, I will provide diapers. All dogs need to be picked up before 8pm (I rarely make exceptions depending on the situation). I wake up early and work hard all day with the fur babies so please respect my time. If you talk to me for long periods of time at drop off or pick up, I won’t book you anymore. I rather spend my time with the dogs. This is not mean. The dogs have taught me to be honest and authentic. I will also not provide service if your child is behaving like they are at a playground. This is not a park or a child care center. Please do not message me constantly, spy on me, or come look for me at my house to convince me to provide dog sitting services. Boarding-over night stay at my house Day Care-up to 8 hours Home drop-in visits(does not include a walk)- 30 min to an hour home visit to check on dog(s), administer medication, play with them, give them affection and make sure they have food and clean water. I highly recommend one hour so I can spend enough time with your dog(s) and prevent them from getting anxious. I will not book any adult dog that is expected to hold their pee for more that 8 hours during the day and for more than 12 hours at night. For puppies, my policy is not more than 4 hour during the day and not more than 7 hours at night. Your dog’s comfort is my priority. Walks -30 minutes to an hour walk (I highly recommend an hour walk if your dog is alone most of the day). This will prevent them from getting anxious. *The total cost of service includes a one time Rover fee (that money goes to Rover). *Rover takes 20% percentage of my pay. *Extended stay fee is automatically added if you drop off and pick up time are not the same (I receive 50% of that fee). This is to compensate sitters for their extra time. *Please do not send me your phone number or ask me for my personal number in an attempt to make a deal outside Rover. For large breeds, you must book a day of daycare before actually boarding your dog. It gives me an opportunity to see how your dog interacts with me and other dogs. This is to ensure all dogs are happy and safe. The following breeds must be crate trained (I can provide crate): Pit bull (or any Pit Bull mix), Boxer, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, American Bulldog, Bullmastiff, Siberian Husky, Doberman Pinscher, Chow Chow and Cane Corso. I will only crate them if I need to step out of the house (for a short period of time). These breeds need to be well socialized and exercised in order for me to provide daycare or boarding. I do make exceptions with dogs who have been traumatized in a crate. I will never put your dog in a crate if they go into survival mode. *If you are an established client and you are having issues with the Rover App, I can actually request booking for you (just send me a message in our latest conversation). I can also modify your booking (up to the booking date) in case you need to make changes. *If you are running late for drop off or pick-up (30 minutes to an hour), there will be no extra charge as long as you let me know in advance. My husband is a veteran and he loves dogs. He helps me with the dogs on the weekends. You will see him in some of the pictures. In the past, I have mainly worked with children and teens (P.E Teacher and Academic Success Advisor). I have also had other jobs such as administrative Specialist, Community Specialist, Zumba Instructor, Substitute Teacher, Academic Advisor and Testing Coordinator. During Covid, I developed my own business mentoring children and teens (for emotional support). From all the jobs I have performed, dog sitting has been the most tender to my soul. I learn how to be kind and compassionate to myself and set clear boundaries with humans. 🥰❤️ My dogs will not be part of the meet and greet. I have learned to introduce dogs slowly (as well as toys). There is no rush. Dogs have different temperaments. Some dogs act differently around their owner and some dogs need time to adjust to each other. Your dog's comfort and safety are my priority. I will let you know if they don’t get along. You don’t need to be present. Thank you! I spend my day with the dogs. I even take them on car rides except when the weather doesn't permit it (high temperatures of 115 and above because you can’t even feel the AC in the car). I sometimes have to step out of the house to attend to a doctor's appointment, pick up a dog or walk a dog. It's never more than 2/3 hours. If your dog doesn’t like to be created, that’s totally fine with me as long as they are ok staying at home. I let dogs roam freely around the house but if you have specific instructions, I will make sure to follow your instructions. I don't take in more than 5 dogs at a time. This is to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all dogs. I will provide you with at least one daily update (with pictures). You are welcome to request more updates. Please bring dog’s food. This is extremely important because some dogs develop an upset stomach due to sudden food changes. If your dog doesn't like dry food, please bring frozen cook meals for me to warm up.
