“MJ was so great! This is the first time we’ve used Rover. I contacted MJ two nights before we needed care for our two Corgis. MJ responded right away and answered all of my questions. I asked to come over to meet him and see the yard and stuff and he was very accommodating! He has a huge secure grassy area with bushes and trees and more than enough room for dogs to run and play! We left our dogs with MJ for two nights. He sent me pictures of my dogs everyday and kept open communication with me the whole time! I have taken care of all sorts of pets and animals, from a 125 pound Bernese Mountain Dog in England, the tiniest Yorkies you've ever seen in Germany, a gorgeous Rhodesian Ridgeback, two sweet cat brothers in Barcelona, managed a smallholding in Scotland full of guinea fowl, several chocolate labs, cats and chickens, I took the dogs I was caring for in Germany to their bi-weekly training while not even being able to speak German - and I could go on and on for days! About: From the time I was brought home from the hospital to mom life at 30, I’ve always had a dog by my side. Pets are like children and I care for them in just that way. We’ve adopted everything from abandoned puppies with no training, to senior dogs. Friends have relied on me to house sit their pups while away during the hot summer months, and have experience fostering kittens, dogs on medication and puppies going through potty training. I’m currently a stay at home mom. Two girls👧🏽👶🏽 and two boys🐶🐶. I’m rarely out of the house and have lots of time to play. We take walks daily, but also love our time on the couch, and would easily welcome another to snuggle with! My fur babies are great companions to both humans and other dogs so they’ll have a friend here if yours needs one. If there is ever any need for separation our yard is fenced and has a dividing gate down the middle. The main living space in our home can also be divided/closed off by Dutch doors which keeps the dogs from wondering, and allows me to keep them in close proximity to me. If keeping our boys separated from your fur babies makes you more comfortable we have a detached studio/garage we would be happy to utilize to keep ours in. If I am needed at your home, where your pet is most comfortable, I can easily be there to care for them. I also understand the importance of making sure everything is how you left it and that pets are secured inside when leaving. Knowing your babies are in loving hands is important. Mac clearly had an amazing time hanging out with his new family for the day. Her kids were so sweet with Mac (they even discovered his high fiving trick!) and Mac loved hanging with them. I felt very secure knowing that Elyssa would care for Mac and knew he was safe with her and her family. She understood that we don’t leave Mac alone and assured us someone would be with him all day. About: My family have had dogs since I was very young. Currently, I am a doggie mum to a Maltese-mix-ShihTzu, her name is ChouChou, for 10 happy years. I have crate trained, potty trained, and taught commands to my dog myself. I can complete all basic needs of your pet and am excited to make new friends! I can clean up after your pets while your away.I preferred to do drop in visits, but I can house sit if you need. I can take your animals for walks, clean the litter boxes, feed and give them water.
