“The only difficult part of writing this review is finding enough good things to say about Elena. Every interaction, from my first communication to picking up Puck after his stay, conveyed both a love of animals and professionalism. We met first in a local park for a meet and greet, where Elena and I chatted and her daughter played with Puck. I felt really comfortable with Elena’s easy manner and the questions she asked to ensure that Puck would be happy with them. I left in confidence when I dropped Puck off, and the photos she sent made it clear that Puck was happy and well cared for. Her daughter makes for a wonderful added bonus; Elena told me when I picked him up that her daughter made a fort for them, and it was clear in the pics that Puck received lots of play time with his favorite toys. When I picked up Puck after his stay, he was of course happy to see me, but not overcome with nervousness or anxiety. I could see that he felt safe and loved in Elena’s home. When I arrived home, he slipped right back into normal routines without needing decompression time. Thank you, Elena, for providing Puck with a warm and loving home-away-from-home.”

About: I have worked with animals almost my entire lifetime, starting at age 10 with horses. I'm the kind of person who took in, and rescued any animal who needed it (mice/ rats/ fox cubs/ parrots/ ducks - you name it!). Growing up in an isolated farming community in rural England was conducive to this. By my early teens I moved on to raise money for animal rescue charity’s such as the WWF and RSPCA. I am certified in Pet first aid, and whilst not busy with running my dog walking business, I'm pursuing dog training certification, and aspire to study Animal Behavior MSC. I have been in the dog care business in California since 2009, I recently made Lake Hughes my home and am opening my schedule to the local community for dog boarding. Your dogs will join my pack! Between myself and several of my trusted live-in ranch workers (also experienced in pet care) we provide 24hour supervision in a in-home setting! Your dog will stay inside of my home, we can section off separate areas depending on how well your dog is adjusting to our pack. If your dog prefers to keep to himself he might score his own private bedroom! If he/she prefers a crate, that is ok too! We are experienced in knowing how to adjust for each personality type. We have a fenced in yard outside, and if you are comfortable with it, your dog is welcome to roam our 20-acre property (with supervision of course) during bathroom and exercise breaks. They may even get lucky and meet one of friendly ranch livestock (with supervision of course) that are all accustomed to dogs!

About: I have grown up with dogs. The past 10+ years I have cared for other peoples dogs. I understand how uneasy people feel about leaving their pooch in a Kennel, simply because their dog is their world and they would rather have their dog have home comforts whilst you are apart. Married but we have no children so am able to offer a calm environment for those dogs that are mature or nervous of bangs and loud noises. Likewise I have the time and energy for those dogs that need a little more play time. I have a neutered schnoodle that is mature enough to chill but also enjoys a play. I work part time from home. So I am able to offer your pooch a lot of time and love, be it walks or just company. I have an enclosed, secure garden, mainly walled with gated access which is locked. It is completely private. It is not a large garden, but it certainly offers a dog enough space to stretch their legs, chase a ball or just chill on the patio.

About: I have been around and handling animals my whole life. Big or small doesn’t make a difference to me. You can have 1 or 100 the more the merrier I’ve always said. I have experience with young big puppies and wait for you in the darkness to trip you cats. The “ excuse me may I have one more treat” horse to the parkour off you and everything goat. The sneaky kitties get caught redded pawed and the blubbering hounds sing with joy. I just moved back to Santa Clarita after living in Texas for 9 years. I’m currently doing handyman freelance work so I have a pretty open and flexible schedule. I try my best to make it seam like you’re not even gone by keeping to your pets normal scheduled routine and activities. That includes walks, feedings, medication, playtime, outside time a long with lots snuggles and plenty of treats (if allowed)

About: Being a pet owner my whole life has allowed me to understand dogs very well! I’ve dealt with bigger breeds like German Shepards and Pitt bulls, smaller breeds have always gotten along well with my demeanor. I have majority of the day to walk or take dogs to a park or allow them to explore the deserts. Let me know your dogs preference of activity. I stick to the rules, let me know what your dogs need or if they have anything that is specific for them that needs to get done!
About: I’ve been a dog owner for 20 +years. I’ve always had to time to walk them, groom them, and nature them. I provide daily care for my pups. I’m currently a stay at home with two kids in school and a baby that loves to go on walks. I’m available for boarding on weekdays or weekends. About: Hi my name is Koryne, I have been caring for dogs for about 3 years now on and off. I have found a it to be a passion of mine whenever i get the chance to care for another fur baby. I have a dog of my own whom I rescued 4 years ago, ever since then i find myself caring and trying to help others with their pets because i have realized how important it is for our dogs to have the care that they need. That may include walks, entertainment, snack time, play time, even if it's just a small drop in to make sure they are doing ok while we are out for the day working or traveling. “The only difficult part of writing this review is finding enough good things to say about Elena. Every interaction, from my first communication to picking up Puck after his stay, conveyed both a love of animals and professionalism. We met first in a local park for a meet and greet, where Elena and I chatted and her daughter played with Puck. I felt really comfortable with Elena’s easy manner and the questions she asked to ensure that Puck would be happy with them. I left in confidence when I dropped Puck off, and the photos she sent made it clear that Puck was happy and well cared for. Her daughter makes for a wonderful added bonus; Elena told me when I picked him up that her daughter made a fort for them, and it was clear in the pics that Puck received lots of play time with his favorite toys. When I picked up Puck after his stay, he was of course happy to see me, but not overcome with nervousness or anxiety. I could see that he felt safe and loved in Elena’s home. When I arrived home, he slipped right back into normal routines without needing decompression time. Thank you, Elena, for providing Puck with a warm and loving home-away-from-home.”

About: I’m a professional dog trainer with a ton of love and experience with all dogs, well over 1,000 different dogs trained, walked and cared for! Your dog will never feel alone while left in my care, as they will be my priority while boarding with me. I have an extraordinary amount experience boarding and caring for all kinds of dogs being a trainer and a former kennel specialist, and overall dog lover! I currently train dogs so dogs are most of what I think about! I train from my house, and Taylor my schedule to make sure I am home all day with your pups! While training, giving treats, or feeding, I seperate all dogs, to ensure everyone is safe. Plenty of rubs, hikes or walks catered to the pups ability, and care like they are apart of my family! Plus a ton of chill, relaxing times. I will make sure to send plenty of updates and pictures!

He was a bit nervous as it was his first time boarding but they kept on sending me pictures and updates every few hours. I appreciated that they let me know about his anxiety his first night, with restless sleep and offered to correct what was causing his anxiety which worked the 2nd night.
