The night we left, our fire alarms became defective and kept setting off until our maintenance team could come fix them the next day. Annabella stayed extra long during her visit to reassure Loki and comfort him. Our litter robot also had a connection issue, and she was able to reset it & set up an emergency litter box I had shipped to the home. The fire alarm situation caused me a lot of anxiety at the beginning of the trip, but the daily updates and photos from Annabella made me feel so much better and we were able to thoroughly enjoy the rest of our trip, knowing our boy was in good hands! About: Our family has had pets in our home for the last 20 years. We currently have one cat and two dogs, who loves having other dogs come to visit. We'll accept dogs for short stays, daycare, and boarding. We have a big backyard that allows for a lot of ball-throwing and running. Your dog will get lots of love and attention during their stay and will not be left alone. Because we work from home, your pet will get potty breaks and outdoor time whenever they want it. We love puppies and are happy to help with potty training. If you have been working with your dog on learning commands, we will continue that training while they stay with us. We'll update you throughout your pet's stay with pictures of what they've been doing. We look forward to making your pet a part of our family. Drop in visits will include feeding, play time, ball throwing, belly rubs, or whatever it is your pup enjoys. I work part time and have a very flexible schedule. I am available to do drop-ins throughout the day between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm. I will follow all instructions that are given to me and will keep your pets on any restrictions or routine that they are accustom to.

During the AZ summer, dogs will remain inside for the majority of the day but will still get tons of attention and playtime because in my home- we play ball in the house! :) Your dog(s) will have frequent potty breaks and tons of playtime outside when the weather isn’t extremely hot to prevent your pet(s) from being overheated. The animals I care for in my home are treated with tons of love and care, and become a part of my family right away! I have a double fenced yard and tons of space for your pet to play. Artificial grass, a doggie pool for those dogs who love to play in water, tons of toys, an outdoor cooler with pump, & misters and fans (though dogs will never be left outside for a long period of time). Dogs are kept inside for the majority of the day. I also have kids who love and adore the animals too and they love spending time with the animals and playing with them so your sweet pets will get extra spoiled with love! As for cats- I understand they are a bit more afraid at first, therefore will keep them separated in their own, quiet space with their own litter box, food, water, and accessories/toys until they seem to feel comfortable with me and in my home. Then I will introduce the cat(s) slowly to the other cats and the to rest of the home.

About: I have always been an animal person. I currently have 2 dogs of my own, both girls, both high energy breeds. I also have 2 cats who are now about 7yrs old. I worked with a dog boarding/day care for a little over a year where I was a lead caregiver to lots of doggos at once! I am currently between jobs so that leaves me plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I am an early bird so I like to get things done early in the day, which usually leads to a happy afternoon nap for all my animals :) If you allow me to have the pleasure of caring for your fur baby in my home I would make sure to give them all the attention and all the cuddles possible. I’m big on spending time outside and going for walks so that would definitely be an item on our agenda!

“Kelly and her family love dogs! They were so happy and excited to take my dog, Buddha, into their home and give him the 1 on 1 attention he needs. My dog does not like me leaving him, but he felt comfortable with them from the very start and didn’t even rush out of their house to leave! I was very surprised and that tells me that Buddha enjoyed his stay. Kelly’s house is set up very well for dogs and their safety. They played puzzles, got Buddha in the play-pool, and cuddled him. Kelly is detailed and communicates really well. I will be taking Buddha back there next time I have to leave town!”
