Before boarding: Alani and her families invited us to do meet-and-greet, asked questions about my dog’s usual routines, sent information about other two dogs mine will be staying with ahead of time. During the stay: Alani sent photos and updates daily. Informed me if anything was unusual. They took her to a dog park when the weather got cooler. Pick-up: They were very accommodating while my flight schedules changed. Alani gave me an update on how my dog stay went, anything she noticed, etc. My dog seemed well-played and happy. I felt like they understood how stressful and nervous it can be to part with a pup for extended period, and did everything to help. About: I've always had a love for animals and have spent years caring for pets of all kinds. But I also appreciate the quiet side of pet care—relaxing on the couch, giving pets attention, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. About: I’ve had pets my entire life. My family had a two high energy dogs growing up and even from a young age I would enjoy caring for the two of them. After they passed, I volunteered at my local humane society, working mainly with dogs. When I was about 17, I convinced my family to adopt a puppy. A noteworthy pet sitting involved caring for a household with one female dog, her six newly born puppies, two adolescent dogs, and a senior dog for a week and a half. About: I’ve had all types of pet dogs (small, medium, large) that I’ve learned how to take care of. I have been paid to watch and clean family members dogs in the past. I am young so I am able to do more labor. I am able to give dogs oral medication, and have experience using medicinal creams on dogs. I am able to (and love to!) play with dogs to make sure they have fun. I am no squeamish with cleaning up after animal mistakes, and I can care for multiple dogs as once including puppies and seniors! I’m soon to be enrolled in college full time. I can care for pets over weekends for the full day, and Friday’s after 10 am!! Until school starts though, (August 9th) I am free every day at every time!! If needed, I can watch animals at my mom’s house which has a nice, fenced backyard to play in along with 3 others dogs and 2 cats. (Will mention, one cat is more fiesty with other animals, but i will be putting her in a separate space, and the most she could do is claw) I don’t think I would recommend my mom’s home for seniors or puppies due to an overstimulating environment and a 5 year old.
